Steak & Bourbon

Talk about top notch service! Brandon was spot on the best most rockstar server we have ever had. He was well spoken, kind and professional, as well as polite and understanding. Every question we had handled perfectly. My food allergy was addressed, he was well informed of dishes for avoidance, and answered questions for us with grace and patience. He gave us time to enjoy our drinks, the amazing bread, appetizer and entrees, as well as dessert without the stress of feeling rushed. I assure you, the tip was well over 20% and completely reflected the dazzling service we received. We have legit never had better service anywhere as well as we did here. Ask for Brandon!

My husband and I went while we were in town this week. was blown away with how good the entire experience was. So much so we came back the following night. All of the steaks are gluten free and most of the sides. With the steak, much to my surprise it was seasoned well and even came with the butter topping. Unlike so many other places that bring the steak out with no seasoning. We also got the goat cheese mushrooms that went so well with the steak. Love this addition! Don’t pass them up! My side was loaded mashed which again, no regrets! Full of butter and flavor! For an appetizer we got the crab topped deviled eggs. Never had anything like them but they were worth it. Multidimensional flavor with every bite! This is one of the best restaurants I have been to across the country and I am just in awe! I can’t recommend you enough that you make going to this place a priority!

Excellent food. The service was great once they acknowledged us, which admittedly took a minute. The food and drinks more than made up for that. The atmosphere was quite dark with lights on the table being the only sources. The bread was amazing and had a candle made of butter - be sure to say yes when they offer it! They had amazing bourbon flight options (or just a glass, if that’s your style). Also had plenty of mixed drink options.

Fun place with good food. I also must give them kudos for not overcharging for their drinks/ beer. 5-7 bucks for a beer in a mid level steak house is more than reasonable.

We brought my mother in to celebrate her 78 birthday and they brought her out a great slice of cake as a surprise.

Decided to bring some vendors out for a business dinner. The food was absolutely spectacular and the drinks were as well. All around a great experience and my vendors were very impressed. I would highly recommend steak and bourbon!
I would highly recommend the seared halabate if you don't eat steak, it was delicious! The carrot cake was to die for as well.

We have been trying to get in here to celebrate special occasions for months. I'm thankful we got in to celebrate my birthday as many other restaurants were closed. The strip steak was amazing smooth, buttery, and well seasoned. The glazed carrots were dreamy.

Best steak we've had in quite a while. Seasoned perfectly. All of the food we had was fresh and delicious. Our server was friendly and very helpful. Great atmosphere and friendly staff overall. They have live music, and while we did enjoy it, sometimes it was difficult to hear the waiter because the music was being played so close to our table. We will definitely be back.

We went here for my son's birthday last weekend. We had an amazing experience! There was a saxophone player who played happy birthday, and they brought out a beautiful birthday dessert as well. I would highly reccomend!

This place was amazing ,i would recommend to make a reservation because it gets pretty crowded.the inside was beautiful and very romantic. I had the short rib pot roast and it was delicious 😋 and the service was really good.

Everything was great. The deviled eggs appetizer was delicious. The flight of Weller was a must do for any bourbon lover. The three medallion entree was tender with fantastic flavor. Overall a great experience.

Absolutely one of the best meal we have ever had in Louisville. By far beats anything else we have ever experienced locally. Our waiter Matt was awesome and the food was great. The drinks weren't too shabby either!

Amazing date night with my husband and friends. We were celebrating Allison's Birthday. The food was wonderful. Great place for a date night.

Beautiful place and great food! A little pricey so be prepared to spend some money. Worth it though, I'll say that!

Went here to celebrate my 50th birthday ,  and it ended up being one of the best dining experiences we have ever had !  My wife sent my Brother and I to stay right outside of downtown Louisville so that we could enjoy the Bourbon experience here.  While this establishment is a little away from the area, it is so worth it and I highly recommend going there. They had an overwhelming Bourbon selection that I have never seen anywhere else ! We tried some flights  and a couple of single glasses .  Maggie our waitress was amazing and extremely attentive, and so was the staff with overall phenomenal customer service !  The atmosphere in there was so pleasant with a live Jazz musician playing for the restaurant and bar to add to the ambience ! All the food was absolutely delicious ,but I've never seen the attention to detail for the way their steaks are recommended. Maggie advised us that the largest filet was very thick and that in ordering it medium rare,it would likely come out more rare in the center. She recommended keeping that way for the taste &  texture, but that we would have options if not pleased . Cross cutting that steak while eating it  and enjoying the encrusted seasoning, along with the varying degrees of temperature throughout made that steak one of the best most tasty steaks I've ever had ! The Colossal baked potato is just that ,and the Shepherd's pie was also amazing and complimented the steaks ! I've been to many steak places in my life ,but the overall experience here made it probably the best ! Highly recommend visiting if in the area !!

This place is fantastic! As soon as we walked in the door we received a warm and immediate greeting from the hostess and what ended up being our server, Patrick F. We were quickly sat at a booth. The atmosphere is amazing from decor, to romantic lighting to music selection and volume. Patrick was attentive throughout our entire meal and excellent at thoroughly explaining the food and drink menus. Our service was at a perfect pace and our food was on point from taste to presentation!

When I am in Kentucky, specifically by the Louisville area, I have to go here. If you want amazing food, great service, and some of the best drinks in town; Steak & Bourbon it is. Also, definitely get the bread that comes automatically before the meal it's like a birthday 🎂 cake. All the staff were exemplary and were always attentive. If you can't get to your table and there is a wait still at the aweome bar, they have it by the kitchen. Also, don't forget to tip your amazing bartenders there and settle up with them. They did have probably one of the best old fashions I had all week.

We came here for a celebratory dinner and had such a great time! Our server was prompt and also very funny which made for a great overall experience. The food was delicious, especially the lobster bisque and deviled egg appetizers. We had a full course meal and will definitely be back soon!

Excellent experience, checked off every mark. My server was patient and attentive, my medium rib eye was perfectly cooked, those lump crab deviled eggs were amazing. Had a bourbon flight, all good. Honestly cant wait to come back here when l visit my child at U of L

The food and drinks are incredible!!! Service was excellent. I ordered the ribeye with shepherds pie (potato side choice) and brussel sprouts. I didn’t get a pic of the shrimp cocktail but it was also delicious. The Grey Goose, dirty martinis were phenomenal!! 🤩

Even though we were seated near the door, our experience was not interrupted or effected by that. We were a party of 6 on New Years Day evening. It was warm and quiet. We were not rushed in any way. The music was soft and pleasant. Just a tad dark for me but I'm 60 and use cheaters to read a menu. The food was great! I'll be back with my girlfriend for a very nice date night.
