Gigi’s Cupcakes

My fiancé took me here to try Gigi’s Cupcakes for the first time, since cupcakes are my weakness. I limited myself to just one, but I now know that I won’t be able to when we return!

I got a Lemon Blueberry cupcake, and it was DIVINE! The cake was moist, the icing was fluffy, and the fruit flavours were super prominent. I was wowed after the first bite! There were little bits of sugar on top of the blueberry icing that added the perfect crunch. The cupcake also came in a cute green decorative box that was designed to look like a present.

I definitely recommend Gigi’s cupcakes. My only regret is that I didn’t sample several at a time! We will be back soon to get more, and I have my eyes on the Scarlet’s Red Velvet cupcake, Cherry Cheesecake and Chocolate Salted Caramel cupcake!

Took my wife to Gigi her first time. And the decor and decorations of the cupcakes were Astounding. We haven’t ate them yet. But her review will have the tasting review. Thanks I hope you enjoy as we if you stop by.

Merideth and Raelyn greeted us and served us some AWESOME cupcakes. We would give more stars…..but it is not allowed. The family was very happy and I was able to have gluten-friendly! What? Usually when the family has a treat I go without. Not the case here….they are DELICIOUS!

What a perfect little treat just ahead of Valentine’s Day! I downloaded the app & easily ordered 1⃣ White chocolate Chai 🧁 for pickup. Order was ready when I arrived. Staff was so cheerful and said a new menu is going to be released real soon!! Packaging is super cute. Might return for Valentine’s Day!

The cupcakes were pretty good little sweet for me but I'm a diabetic but everybody else thought they was great and the waitress was great young girl first job

I had a great experience with Gigi’s cupcakes of hurstborne. They did this amazing cake for my little one’s birthday and it turned out beautiful and tasted even better! The staff was extremely friendly as well, Megan was who I spoke with when making the custom order and she was so nice and helpful!

Stopped in tonight for a sweet treat for a co-worker. Meredith was working and was just amazing! She was so helpful, nice, polite, and described all the new fall favorites with such excitement. I tried the praline and WOW, so good! I'll be back soon for more!

Okay, so Gigi's is a love it or hate it type of place. They make huge decadent cupcakes that have as much (or more) icing as they do cake. They are a chain and to my knowledge they all have the same 15-20 varieties, plus 1-2 seasonal varieties that rotate. My favorites are Wedding (white cake, white icing) and Midnight (chocolate cake, icing and chips). My husband's are the KY Bourbon Cake and Oreo. My kids like the funfetti, Peanut butter cup, and Caramel Pretzel. They're all very pretty and make great edible gifts.

So about the love-hate thing. Gigi's cupcakes are an indulgent treat, and not something you'd want all the time. They get a lot of criticism about being so overly indulgent, but that's kind of their thing.

Gigi's cupcakes provided the cupcakes for our wedding party - Kentucky Derby themed. The Mint Julep and Bourbon Pie were AMAZING. All of my guests had probably 5 minis a piece. I highly recommend and the customer service is also very top-notch.

I was craving something sweet and decided to have 2 cupcakes delivered tonight. I couldn’t have been more happy!!!! The cupcakes arrived completed intact and were DELICIOUS!!!!! I got the wedding one and the red velvet one. The wedding cake one was SOOOOO light and airy, it tasted and felt like a cloud in my mouth. The icing was rich but not too rich that would normal make me only want one bite. I finished this whole thing and can’t wait to have another!!!

Had a fantastic experience there on March 20, 2023. Superb customer service from Jordan and Raelin; I always think that is half the battle (being helped by someone personable, kind, patient) and they hit the mark! I purchased 8 minis and 1 regular. The regular never made it out of the car (yum!) and the minis were a birthday hit!

Super nice people. I came in on Sunday at 3:00 for 1 1/2 dozen big cupcakes. Monday was filled with happy smiling employees!!!

Great cupcakes, icing is very sweet (cookie dough cupcake), friendly staff. Cupcakes were $3.50 each and $22 for 6. Also a great rewards program.

I am pretty picky when it comes to cupcakes and have been searching for a good bakery to end my craving for the cupcakes I had back home in Hawaii. Gigi's cupcakes are very moist and flavorful and their frosting is just the right consistency and sweetness. They make mini cupcakes too which allows you to sample the different flavors so you can pick out your favorite!! My go to is usually Red Velvet, but I like the Strawberry even more!! I'm glad they have locations in Louisville and Lexington; makes it easy to find my fix whether in East or West.

I’ve been to this establishment a few times with my toddler and we both love it. Very clean environment and the employees are helpful and patient with my daughter when she’s picking out her cupcakes. Service is good and the cupcakes are delicious! I recommend if you have a sweet tooth.

Had to stop before my first (worst) meal at Pier 17 Seafood. Bought 4 full size cupcakes for $14+tax. Delicious! They have mini ones also. It was an hour or so before closing so some varieties were out of course. Very sweet, friendly, accomodating counter girl. Will visit again.

We had Gigi's cater our wedding cake on March 3rd, 2013. They were on time and professionally set up our cupcake stand beautifully! The best thing about it was they gave us a funfetti cake topper and it was delicious!!! The cupcakes were a huge hit at my wedding! Guests wouldn't stop awing over how good the cupcakes looked and how delicious they were. We had four different flavors for our guest. Everyone loved it!

Gigi’s did my daugher’s wedding reception. The cupcakes, both the large ones and the minis were delicious. They delivered and set up the display at the venue. It looked beautiful. I received an enormous amount of points towards future purchases. I am very happy with Gigi’s!!
