Save A Lot

Love shopping at the Alton Save A Lot Store. The employees are always very helpful. Prices are good, There is a large selection of quality fresh meat to choose from.

Not overcrowded and had some great deals on certain things. Definitely able to get my money's worth in groceries for a low budget family.

Nice local Apple picking and pumpkin farm. Very clean and larger than you think. Friendly staff! Look forward to it every fall.

It has lower price products, they for most is of great quality. I shop there on a monthly time frame. I am on Social security and a small pension. I eat good quality meat products and they have both fresh and frozen vegetables. They all a lot of fresh meat also milk n dairy. I did not get this review till I got home. The store is well organized and clean. It is a older building but it is kept up. SORRY ABOUT NO PHOTOS. I DEPEND ON THE BUS FOR TRANSPORTATION.

This was my first time in a Save A Lot in years. I was happy to see everything was well stocked and the aisles were clutter free. Employees were very friendly and helpful as well. Parking was not an issue and the lot was pretty clean too. I'll definitely be shopping here more often!

Good store prices reasonable meats fresh or pulled from coolers

Google is asking me to review this store because my GPS registered me being there. In reality I pulled over to make a phone call and never actually went into the store. So my review will be for the parking lot I guess. The parking lot was a lovely escape from the bustling highway, with generous views and mediocre paving. My only real complaint would be, in a square parking lot, why is the entrance like a slalom course without cones?

Clean everything was priced reasonably and the check out girls were just the sweetest.

This is an excellent place always stock to everyone that works there is very courteous and will help you get your shopping done with a friendly attitude

Nice local store prices are cheaper than Schnucks and Dierbergs everything is not name brand but have a good selection of items to buy for your household

They have some good deals some good they got one big meat selection. I do my shopping their weekly.if you're running a little low on cash you go and get something good to eat

Well stocked, big variety to choose from. Meat selection had great choice of meats. Overall A+.Friendly employees very helpful.

Savalot has cuts of meat you don't find everywhere. I enjoy classic French cooking, Persian cuisine, and authentic Mexican food of Oaxaca, Puebla, and Ciudad DF styles. I can find beef neck bones, beef shank, tongue, oxtail, jowl bacon, rind on bacon, tripe, and pork boneless country style ribs, pork neck bones here, that I'd otherwise have to go to a butcher or meat shop in the city for.

Never busy enough, making it the absolute easiest place to shop grocery in Alton. A tiny tiny bit more expensive than it's Aldi neighbor, but worth the visit. Nothing bad to say about it.

It's just like the name says "Save A lot" because you really do when you shop here. They have alot of name brand items too.

It's good stores & the ladies are friendly & awesome people too
