Dewey's Pizza

@deweyspizza If you ask anyone about their recommendations for pizza when traveling to St Louis I would bet 9 times out of 10 they would recommend Dewey's pizza and today I cashed in on that recommendation. I ordered 3, 17" pizzas and went half and half on them. The Porky Fig, Ryan's Inferno, Dr. Dre, Meatball, pepperoni and bacon. While the artesians were hard at work making the pizza the kids got a chance to see the live action and the Artisans did not disappoint. They threw flour and pepperoni and the kids and really made it entertaining to watch.
Now for the taste, the combined cooked and raw ingredients to help bring a nice texture and taste to the pizza that made it one of a kind. My favorite was Ryan's inferno it was literally like eating buffalo wings in a pizza format. Great pizza spot. #pizza #explorestl #STL.

Great spot to take the family. Kids can watch them make the pizzas, throw the dough, etc. It's just loud enough to cover for any small outburst from a kid, but not too loud you can't go here without kids. Takeout is great, but nothing beats eating a fresh, hot pizza straight out of the back. The crust is so good, but much better warm out of the oven!

@deweyspizza 5/5 Will return. My wife's first time and wanted to try to white sauce. It was the best pizza she's had. Lexie and Zoe were amazing. There was a mess up in the kitchen; which doesn't happen often. They helped address it right away. Service was great. Clean and lively. Enjoyed the low key staff hints that we were waiting. Shows good communication imo.

The pizza is always great, no matter what you order. We've been to several different locations. On this day, we did a half and half-my son ordered Hawaiian and I got the Caprice. Both delicious and hot! It was very cold and snowy out and the hot pizza was perfect. We give 4 stars for atmosphere only because it seems so noisy in these places. Usually because of the crowds of patrons, but this was only 4 in the afternoon. Little pricey for our late lunch, but so worth it. $3.25 is a bit much for a soda. Coke products to boot. 😬 Lol

They have a wonderful variety of specialty pizzas! However if you want to build your own they also have a very long list of ingredients you can choose from including spinach, one of my personal favorites! My companion and I split a spinach and mushroom pizza which was delicious. We also split a special salad of the day which was terrific, and had the unusual and marvelous touch of Boursin cheese. The meal and service were both excellent!

Dewey's is my favorite pizza place! It is always so fresh and delicious 😋. Me and my daughter and I always get the "Dr. Dre" pizza. All the pizzas have a specific name. We also get the ceasars salad with the corn, bean, and tomato salsa. The meal was delicious as usual and we had a great time there. It started getting busy while we were eating our food, which is a regular occurrence.

Super delicious! The candied pecans, goat cheese and grape salad was sooo delicious! The pizza is awesome! The carrot cake is so moist and flavorful. Such an awesome dinner. This place is a must try!!!

Surprisingly it was pretty empty when we arrived. We were seated immediately and placed our orders. We waited maybe 10 minutes before the food was on the table.

We ordered a 13” split with Dr. Dre and Hawaiian. I will say that New York styled pizza is not my favorite but Dewey’s does a great job of making this pizza flavorful.

My 11yo son and I went to the U City location for his birthday lunch. The service was amazing! The Asst Manager was appropriately chatty and sweet with my son. The food arrived as ordered and was delicious. It was also quick in and out, which was what we hoped for. Amazing visit!

The pizza at Dewey's is always exceptional -- always fresh, perfect combination of toppings, in just the right amount, and a dozen variety in their menu. They hand-toss their own dough in a glass-walled kitchen (fun for the kids to watch); it is the only crust in town I eat. And there is always enough staff to serve the customer efficiently and with a smile. It is one of only two pizzerias in STL that I give five stars.

Got two pizzas for dinner! We got the Meatball and the Porky Fig, both were excellent! The Gorgonzola on the Porky fig gave a salty and funky contrast to the sweetness of the fig jam base. Crust was nice, and the service was friendly

I'd never eaten here before. Pizza was delicious and salad was fresh and huge. I came in close to closing and they stayed open late and didn't rush me.

Really good pizza. They have a new oven and it makes the best Krispy crust. Many choices of toppings available. The staff is delightful and knows their pizza. Do yourself a favor. Stop in and eat pizza!

BEST PIZZA and Calzones around ! We ordered Taco pizza and shared amongst 3 of us ! Calzones are just perfect ! They perfected the taste and baking of the pizza

Excellent pizza in St. Louis. Always super tasty and not too greasy. The crust is really nicely cooked and not too tough or chewy.

Service is always good. The pizza seemed extra yummy today.
