Wayback Burgers

We really need more people to go eat there!!! The food is awesome, the service is great, it is super clean and the prices are right!!! Go check it out. Terrence runs the place and has it looking great and the food is amazing!!! Terrence is also giving amazing customer service. Everyone needs to eat there and tell me what you think!!! Did I mention that the food is outstanding???

My husband and I stumbled across Wayback Burgers by chance last week when we were out running errands. We were initially hungry for sushi, but apparently everyone else in Coconut Creek was too that evening, so there was a bit of a wait at the sushi restaurant nearby. We had actually walked past Wayback Burgers on the way to sushi and to be honest, just looking in the windows made me hungry for a burger and shake instead. So I suggested we give them a try. I am so glad we did! Not only were the burgers, fries and shakes excellent, but they also serve gluten-free buns upon request! I have been gluten free for years and have grown accustomed to the bun-less burger, but having the opportunity to enjoy a hamburger WITH a bun completely made my day. And the bun was amazing! Gluten free buns are usually dry and hard, but this one was soft and fluffy and the flavor was perfect! It may sound odd to spend so much time reviewing the bun, but any of my fellow gluten-free eaters will understand. In addition to delicious food, the restaurant was clean and the service was excellent. Shawn took our order and was very personable and attentive. He even came out to our table after we were served to make sure I was enjoying my gluten-free burger, which I certainly was! If you’re ever in the area (or even not in the area and just hungry for a great hamburger and shake) I would highly recommend Wayback Burgers.

Saw a recommendation on YouTube and found a Wayback Burgers 🍔 about 30 miles away. Cheesy burger tasted as I expected. Fries 🍟 were pretty good. Coke products only. No Mountain Dew. The restaurant is wayback.off of the street. Glad I had a map.

I went through the curbside and call early for my order. I was greeted with a friendly face and a nice “Hello! How are you today?” The gentleman name was Eddie very professional . Whoever hired him must be very pleased with the work he is doing. I am very pleased with my experience and the meal hot and juice burgers. Definitely will come back again. Bring back Wayback Burger to our community was the best thing for us since Aim from savanna Georgia and has been in your restaurant many times before, fell like home again .Thank you and keep the good work.

A great place for traditional burgers, fries, and shakes. The chefs and servers are top of the line and always smiling. Everything is made fresh and highly customizable. The place is always clean and ready for parties between 1 and 40 people.

This place was incredible! The burger was cook right there fresh and tasted Amazing! Coke products, always a plus. Mac and cheese bites were unique and packed with good taste. Eddie the guy working there was super friendly too. Just a great experience! If I was a local, I'd be a regular.

This place is amazing and the service is great! The atmosphere is very chill and professional. James was incredibly friendly. I had the Rodeo Burger made by Francisco. Not only can he cook, but he was friendly and very funny. These two added a great experience to dining out. I will definitely be back. Thank you fellas.

Amazing burger and fries, for a price you just can’t beat! Small businesses are always supported in my book but I’m also very honest in my reviews. The place is close by my house so door dash came within in very timely manor. But the food itself is outstanding! High recommend:) will be visiting the place very soon.

We love Wayback Burger! Our team often goes gets a bite to eat together here and the food is always wonderful! The staff is so friendly and provide great service! James always takes great care of us. The restaurant is always spotless and well kept. Stop by and grab a burger, you won’t regret it!

Burgers were really good and super filling. The mac n cheese bites were also awesome. The onion rings a little darker than I would prefer but still really good. The only criticism I have is that I ordered a couple orders of the “way back gold sauce” but did not get any. I would have liked to try it. I’m a sauce kinda guy. Food was great though. This is my first time eating Wayback - we will definitely be-back.

I am a Test Kitchen Manager for a private company and your Cheese burgers are the best ever taste alone with the Tenders. Plus the services by the new male manager are the greatest. He came to my table asking for a feedback and was the best services in coconut creek area. PS your lemonade was the best ever

Couldn't have been a better experience Tuesday evening. Stopped in with my son, and had friendly service at the counter by the 2 young men working there.

The burgers and o-rings came out, just as we ordered them. Delicious juicy burgers!

I'll be back for sure.

If you're looking for an alternative to the fast food joints in the area, this is a great alternative, and probably better for you, too! Sit in or take it out....

This is a GREAT BURGER PLACE the burger is juicy succulent and tender it will literally fall a part if you eat it correctly IN THE BEST WAY their fries are AMAZINGLY fresh. The chili is better than what’s usually past around from other places. The service is so nice the decor is pretty great better than the cookie cutter fast food places like McDonald’s and Burger King where the seating and set up looks the same. It’s to me sets a new standard for local burger joints. I would’ve compared it to five guys but that wouldn’t be fair. This place is 1000% better

I had a great experience my first time at way back. The twins we're very hospitable, answered any questions, allowed me to try sauces before making decisions. Lunch special is such a good deal, single burger fries and a drink all for five dollars. Will definitely be returning!

The Wayback Burgers is a modern up-scale take on the classic hamburger. The service counter was pleasant and very informative on what was on the menu. I did like the atmosphere as it is industrial modern in look. The burger was excellent and was juicy. I also enjoyed the fries that were crispy with a cold beer. It is a great place to hit up if you are in the area and have a hankering for a burger.

First time here and Terrance was great.
I congratulated him for being such a good worker and that I hope they appreciate him.
He kind and nonstop cleaning and making sure customers had everything they needed.
And asked how did I hear about way back burger and promoted the best burgers in the world.
I’m tired want to get home, but I’m in the parking lot making sure this young man is appreciated.
I’m VP of a billion dollar real estate development company and I appreciate a good loyal worker.

The hamburgers were amazing! I never knew these burgers were the grass fed burger type. Absolutely delicious! Onion rings were cooked perfect and staff are very friendly. The restaurant was very clean. A must to try them!

Stopped by wayback burgers Tuesday finding out about national burger day. It was pretty crowded due to the deal for $3 signature burgers. I got a little inpatient waiting in the line but I felt more bad for the staff. They clearly were short a few workers and they stayed cheerful and helpful with all the negative things some of the rude customers would say . I felt really bad for the poor young man working apologizing to everyone and in return a guest yells in his face . He still went on not letting it affect him so hat's off to him. I went in to order two signature burgers and a fry expecting the worst but it all look so delicious coming up to my table and to my surprise it tasted even better than looks!!! I ended up using the app to order online inside the store and ordered 4 more for my family which they loved. You'll be seeing our faces pretty soon.

2nd updated review: much improved service. Our order came out perfect. The new manager is helpful and provides excellent customer service. Kuddos to A1A service and food quality!

Horrendous Customer Service! They are supposed to close at 9pm according to the website, googlemaps, etc. Nope!! I walk in at 7:55pm on a Sunday and the manager ( without a mask mind you and behind the counter) a spanish guy says that the kitchen has closed. The guy on the grill does have his mask on while cleaning the kitchen. No apologies! No nothing, completely dismissive. However the manager does mention that he is hoping they don't close their location bc the owners have closing locations left and right. No kidding, who is going to come back with this type of customer service. Besides the fact, there was not a soul inside this place so it was not bc he was busy or trying to complete orders. We were going to spend upward of $40 because we are a family of 5 but believe me we won't step foot in there again. We'd rather go to chickfila mon- Saturday.

First time here, amazing service & amazing food! Came in with a friend, got two burgers two sides of fries & onion rings and a shake and it was all under $30! Definitely worth it and would recommend to anyone looking for a good quality burger!! Thank you to Terrance & Gary for helping us out! We’ll definitely be back soon!
