Tanque Verde Swap Meet

absolutely 100% worth checking out. this swap meet has a sort of rogue, anything could happen vibe going on here and it’s kind of fun. great treasures to be found throughout and lots of street food.

everything is cash only and there are a lot of non-traditional vendors. this isn’t like the swap meets in LA, this is something weird, wild, and wonderful — different completely. for many, this meet would be out of their comfort zone so maybe take that into consideration if you’re expecting a bunch of hipsters selling clothes from the 70s, this is not that.

someone could be selling a leaf blower, someone could be selling an airbrushed t-shirt with a picture of your dog on it, someone could be selling a used car seat, serapes, straw hats, mayan calendar — LITERALLY ANYTHING.

i absolutely loved it and hope to be back someday.

Fun place with an eclectic mix of items for sale. We really enjoyed walking around and speaking with the vendors. We will definitely be back.

The guy with the hat and the beard at the parking booth is the coolest person I've ever met and his customer service was perfect. He must be promoted to CEO of the Tanque Verde Swap Meet, or it will surely fail!

Great place to look for that little something that you can't find anywhere else. Plus the kids had so much fun

The Tanque Verde Swapmeet is totally a Tucson staple. I went here with some friends on Saturday 10/23/21 around 1:00pm. Most of the storefronts weren't open yet and there weren't very many customers walking around. It was nice having the place to ourselves though. The vendors that where there were very friendly and had alot of fun things for sale for very low prices. There was very cool retro signage everywhere, the concessions sold beer and the weather was awesome. I want to try and come later in the day sometime soon to get the full experience.

We were here last Saturday for the Rosaura Hernandez domestic abuse awareness benefit. Rosaura's mother gave a heart-wrenching eulogy tribute to her daughter. Very nice turnout with a lot of Lowriders raising money for the benefit. Posted some pix but there were a lot more people and vehicles. Thanks to TVSM for participating.

Always worth stopping here... It's a hit & miss sometimes... Bought these decorated flower pots... If you have time on a Friday or Saturday evening... Plan to visit this place.

When you need something for fun, or just in case this is absolutely the place to go!! You think you can find anything at the mall at these prices? I think NOT!! From candy to gardening tools!! Are you looking for something to surprise your girlfriend/boyfriend/wife/husband? Come here and really blow the socks off of them with a gift!!

Definitely the place to go on a Friday and Saturday night between 5pm and 11pm. So many vendors and different foods and snacks. My kids love going. Definitely stop by Space 1-74 and 1-76 to visit Big Boss Beauty Co. Theres so much to choose from, Makeup, beauty products, gifts, so much cute jewelry, new and pre loved clothes and shoes. Changes every week. Its a must. see!! Go and support all the local vendors from our community. Its like an outside mall and fun for the whole family.

Always a good time and you never know what your going to find. Great food spots also. Best Tacos Dorados at a careta on site. Also found cheap phone case for less than $20. Always a good night life spot to go and enjoy. Masks are required due to COVID-19.

Great place as a seller and people come here more than they did in 2019. As a buyer I love going here. My only complaint is the price of water and food. Really pricey. If you sell bring your own water unfortunately if your a buyer you can not bring in water or beverages to drink. I made more selling this time around than I ever did before.

Had an awesome time!! Weather was great, good music & everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves young & old.

I have lost a lot of vendor friends from the new management at the swap meet charging now upon entry when it used to be free and many saying the increase in rental rate before inflation did a lot of damage to the overall scene. Very depressed

Amzing place to just walk around and find random things on a weekend. Love the Mexican candy stand on aisle 3 and corner of aisle 5.

This location a must see and a good place to browse and barter with others for all kinds of different items to rare sports memorabilia all the way to art and furniture.

You can actually set up a table here and sale items for a fee.
