We’ve been to España several times and have enjoyed each experience. The food is delish and the atmosphere is lovely. I usually get the vegetarian paella and my husband has tried several different dishes (enjoyed them all). Just a note, the non-vegetarian paellas are made for two. If that’s too much, they do have lots of options. Great place to take guests from out of town. Make a reservation!

The covered patio is so comfortable, the staff is incredibly attentive, and the food is AMAZING! We never wanted for anything, the timing was immaculate, and our server was friendly and present at all the right moments. Their fresh bread is so soft and fluffy, the food is all seasoned to perfection. I can't say enough great things, if you've never been you NEED to go! The Octopus was the very best I have ever had, so tender and perfectly paired with the dressing. You've just gotta go!

I first visited España almost 15 years ago when my husband and I stumbled upon it while walking around downtown Fernandina on our first wedding anniversary. We went back a few years later and then again last Friday night. We live in Jax so we don’t make it there much but it just gets better and better each time we go. I haven’t been able to stop thinking about the goat cheese crostinis with the fig jam, prosciutto and balsamic glaze. They put all of my favorite flavor profiles into little bite-sized pieces of perfection. I’d love to try a spicy version of it with a little hot honey or jalapeño for a little kiss of heat. The paella was phonomenal with huge, fresh mussels and shrimp. The sangria was refreshing. Our server, Brian was knowledgeable and informative about the menu and made excellent recommendations without being overbearing. It really is a lovely gem of a restaurant. I hope to be back soon.

7 people, tried sheephead fish, filet, tapas and beef empanada. All were very good, Service was attentive but very busy. We would dine again in future.

Excellent!! Appetizers were absolutely deelish, shrimp ajillo and the best chorizo I’ve ever had, so tasty but not too spicy. The paella Valencia was so delicious, cooked and seasoned perfectly. Great cozy atmosphere, great service. Delicious sangria too! My first time here and I would definitely go back next time I’m in town.

My favorite meal/restaurant during our Amelia island vacation. Not easy to get a reservation here but got lucky on a weekday. Cozy Portuguese restaurant with fresh seafood.

Great tapas, reasonable price. Waiter was excellent. Great courtyard. Tried eacargot for the first time here. Loved the sauce it was in, and the bread to dip! Didn't have a miss here.

Had a couple of absolutely wonderful tapas here last week when visiting Amelia Island. My server Brian took great care of me. He suggested a special for the night with goat cheese and arugula and it was incredible. I then had their seared calamari steak topped with capers, olive oil and balsamic glaze. Both were really good. I'll definitely go back next time I'm in Amelia Island. Can't recommend this restaurant highly enough.

I had an excellent experience from beginning to end. I was greater warmly as I entered, when I sat down, and by every member of the staff while I enjoyed my meal. The food was delicious, well portioned, and I left very satisfied. Even made great leftovers the following night. The owner even came out and spent some time at my table. I 1'000% will be coming back here over any other restaurant next time I'm in Florida!

Impeccable service and the food was amazing! Great atmosphere for a date night or special occasion. We ordered the fresh catch grouper, hubby got it with shrimp & poblano sauce, i got capers & lemon buerre blanc. We shared the fried polenta tapas with tomato sauce and cheese which was to die for and bread and butter accompaniment. After we walked a few short blocks to the marina and got a front row seat to watch the sun set.

Definitely see what the hype was about. This was by far my family's favorite restaurant we ate at during our trip to Amelia Island. We ordered the fried calamari, which haven't had that good of calamari in years since we lived back up in NY/NJ, and we got the gambas mozambique, which was delicious and everyone wanted more of the sauce it was cooked in. My wife said she could've drank the sauce alone(definitely her favorite dish of the night). We also got the paella marinera and the paella rústica and both were so delicious but the paella marinera was absolutely incredible. The sangria was also a hit according to my wife and my mother, not too sweet or strong but tasty. Wish we would've had more time at the island to visit this restaurant again and order some of the same dishes and try more items on the menu. Make sure to make reservations cause you do not want to miss out on this place when visiting the area.

Amelia island Florida, what a fantastic atmosphere and perfect food! Staff is amazing. 2nd time eating here 😋.
If you are close I highly recommend trying this Cuban, Spanish food. From the small plate for sharing, scallops, escargot, clams, garlicky shrimp, main courses, lemon chicken vegetables and saffron rice, seafood paella, sausage and chicken paella. Sea bass.
Sangria pitcher to set it off. Outside seating is large with heaters, bar area, very limited parking.
Please give them a try.

1. Get reservations.
2. Enjoy.

This was our first time trying tapas. As people who usually judge a restaurant by their appetizers, the small shareable plates were perfect!

We started with some nibbles (spiced roasted almonds, and fig goat jam prosciutto crostinis). Then we each picked 3 tapas and shared it all. They bring them out as they are ready so you have time to finish one or two before more arrive. Everything was delicious, and each plate held our new favorite dish.

We will definitely go back.

Mouth-watering, culinary perfection! Spanish cuisine at its finest in a casual, cozy atmosphere. Conveniently located in Fernandina Beach historic district off Centre, our first visit was during Restaurant Week in January and oh the food! Everything from the tapas, to the dessert was delicious and simply disappeared off the plates! Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful dinner last night. The food was amazing and the staff was very friendly and helpful with the menu. We ordered the empanadas, drunken clams, and the paella. It all so delicious. It is reservations only restaurant but can’t wait to go back and try other items off the menu.

This is a great place. I enjoyed dinner here with my wife. The food was very good. Liked the chorizo and paella rústica. We had an excellent server, Omar, who explained everything very well. Make reservations as it gets full fast. It is a gem.
