The Tavern by AIBC

The Tavern by AIBC located at 318 Centre St, Fernandina Beach, FL 32034 is a fantastic gem!
Really, really good food and service! Manager Brett speaks in a video in my review about the place. Cheesteak, Fish and Chips (best of best!), and their Burgers are outstanding. Gigantic Pretzels also. Reasonable prices Highly recommended! It’s a very cool brewery too.

This was a good experience. The food was great and the service was even better. Everything came out quicker than expected. The Tavern was the best dinning experience we had while on the island this time around. Recommend.

This place gets a 5 star review because of the cute alleyway to the brewery and the aesthetics on that side of the building. The beers were tasty and there was a small yet good selection of beers. Overall, we enjoyed sitting outside to drink our beers. There weren’t many people when we were there so it made it even better.

Dani was our server and she was killing it while in the weeds. We had the “Get Fizzical” and “Let that Mango” along with a brewers salad and prime rib sandwich all consistently great! I had another drink with the fancy flower and gold ice cube as well. Was a nice end to our “hurricane” day

The moment we walked in, I knew I would like it. The decor was fresh but comfortable. The large bar is in the center with tables and booths on each side. Some outdoor seating is also available. There are a couple TV's on the wall but I would not call it a sports bar.
The three of us decided to sit at the bar though we could have been seated immediately at a table. The stools were comfortable.
Drinks: I ordered a Chocolate Stout (Verona), my husband had a martini and my friend had seltzer since she was DD. My stout was good but a little "hot" - more than what I have had with an 8.9ABV in they past. My husband later had a red (Grace) that was very good, not like any red I ever had before.
Food: Both my husband and my friend had the Shrimp Rigatoni. It is her favorite dish at AIBC. Both brought some home because the portion was more than ample. I had Jerk Shrimp Kabobs. The shrimp was cooked perfectly, not chewy and flavored well with jerk seasoning. It was served with rice and beans.
Bonus: You can buy cans of AIBC beers to take home! They have a machine at the bar that is used to seal the can as you watch. Very cool.

A true GEM of Amelia Island! The waiter, not sure if I'm spelling his name correctly Tiberius? Was excellent! Making food suggestions and appearing at just the right time to help. The food is absolutely TOP NOTCH. From the drinks to the wings to the sandwich you could taste the quality! I've eaten at many places in this area and this is where I'll be defaulting as the place to bring friends here on out when visiting the area.

What an amazing place. All of us had some very delicious food. The service was wonderfully attentive and friendly. For the 4 of us with all different palates, all of us found something on the menu. We want on a Sunday and it filled up pretty quickly a bit after noon. There is a place to eat outdoors that was warm enough and plenty of room inside with booths. Highly recommend!

The food was awesome and they had a vegan choice which also was very good!!! We had wonderful friendly service and we were asked how our dining experience was which I thought was extra special. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Great ambiance. Nice servers. Delicious food. I’m not a beer drinker so I can’t comment on their drinks other than every one else seemed to be loving it. I had the pastrami burger and my wife got the Summer salad - both were great. I loved the fries too - best I’ve had in a while.

This was the best dining experience we had on the island this time around. Our server was exceptional as well as other staff we spoke to. We spoke to a young man and it was his first day, he told us his wife was the bartender (she made a great drink). The food was what we have been looking for after other disappointing attempts to other places in the area. Bottom line, the food is great as well as the service!!!

Great experience. The beer selection offers a variety of choices. I was also impressed by the diverse menu that includes several options for vegetarians. Staff was incredible and our bartender Lacey did a great job suggesting selections for drinks.

Great selection of beers. I tried a flight first and then bought some for carry out. I do want to point out that the surf and turf (shrimp and steak) quesadilla was FANTASTIC! So tasty and was listed as a starter butcould probably be a lunch portion.

What a great place to drink some very unique beers that are reasonably priced. The staff is excellent and the food is amazing. Fresh and great flavor. We have been traveling the USA now for almost 3 years and this micro -brewery is at the top of our list. Try the coffee and Bailey's flavored Porter! A 10!!!
I forgot to mention their tributes and dedication to the fallen women and men of the military is top notch and very much appreciated by a Viet Nam Veteran!! Thank you all!

Tried Amelia Island Brewing Company on a whim while it was pouring down rain here in Amelia Island.

Nestled away off of the busy main drag was this quaint little alley way with greenery hanging from the rafters and plenty of fans to keep you cool.

Tried the smoked porter beer and it was FANTASTIC! I had the Thai chili wings as well and they were delicious. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for good food, good beer and a really neat atmosphere!

We were in the area on St. Patricks day. The place was packed. Seems to be a popular place to eat. Make sure you make reservations beforehand. We didn't make reservations, however we were still able to sit at the bar. I had the cotton candy flavored beer and my husband had the passion fruit flavored beer. All of their beers are crafted there. You will not find your average name brand beers. Make sure to try the pretzel that hangs. It's delicious, huge and soft. The selection of meals isn't huge but overall great place to hang and have a bite.

Awesome place! Perfect place for a great meal and visit with friends. Plenty of outlets if you were traveling and needed a quick charge. Beer and Cocktails were spot on! Outdoor seating and good for kids. They have a kids menu. The staff was very helpful for knowledge of what was going on in the area. Service was excellent! I would highly recommend if you are in town, you stop by! Ohhhh..the pub pretzel was killer!

My grandma and I shared the avocado caesar salad, onion rings, and the burger. All were very good and our server, Bailey, was great too. Super clean bathroom as well which is a plus

A great brew pub downtown! Excellent staff, prices are great, and the atmosphere is so light and welcoming. A must try if you want some great food, beer, and fun. A huge selection of craft beer on tap and the staff is helpful with finding the drink for you. Will absolutely be back!
