Dr. Shamsad Begum, MD

I have been going to see Dr Begum for almost 3 decades.
When I moved to Palm City, Florida I encountered nothing but lack of professionalism and dismissal by so many doctors in Martin county.
I was shocked, not to mention, so afraid as I knew I had no one in this area I could trust.
I finally had my medical records returned to Dr Begum.
I went back to a place where I felt comfortable and loved.
I went back to a place where I was heard and treated with respect.
I went back to a doctor and a staff who fully understands my disabilities and my limitations.
Here in Martin county I felt as though I were under interrogation, scrutiny! I spiraled completely into a state of dark depression.
I am so grateful for Dr Begum.
Although my son is grown and has a child of his own, Dr Begum was the only one he allowed to give him any shots needed. He wishes he could find a doctor like her in Alabama for his son.
His search continues.
He was the one that encouraged me to go back to her. As did my husband.
I am completely grateful for such an incredible and dedicated doctor.

The most professional staff very knowledgeable and helpful regardless of how busy their practice is at times ? they treat all patients as individuals who's health care matters to their staff treats every patient as if it were their own family.

Dr. Begum has been my primary doctor since 2007, words can’t express what she’s done for my health. she’s kind considerate. I’ve had several health problems and was misdiagnosed from several specialist. Dr. Begum has helped me and put me on a road to recovery. I did not have the quality of life when I met her and I have my life back. I can’t thank Dr. Begum enough for what she’s done and the staff is fabulous everybody’s kind caring Dr. Begum there’s no words to express how she gave me my life back….. Also my entire family sees Dr.Begum has primary and so does my friends. I would highly recommend Dr. Begum for your health care needs.

Dr Begum NEVER Prescribes anything not needed , she will NOT cross prescription And has always checked to ensure meds
Wouldn’t have cross reactions .
when there was meds I thought would help me?
She takes the time
From her personal life and has answered me many times after hours,
to both advise me,
Or , tell me something I asked about, wouldn’t work with current meds .

Those reviews sound like a smear campaign from people she may not have told what they wanted to hear .
How many doctors nowadays respond at night and on weekends after hours personally?
I have seen the “ pill mills “ in Florida 20 heads ago and this office is FAR from
Those !
When I come in I see seriously injured people and elderly,
Not drug seekers or junkies
She’d never have that .

One of the most caring and compassionate doctors I’ve had in the 30 years since
I’ve been injured and had health issues.

Dr Begum and staff are very professional and yet warm,comfortable and caring team! I very highly recommend her for all ages! She lives her job and cares about her patients and it shows!

Dr Begum is an excellent and caring doctor.You can get someone anytime and anyway.Dr Begum is also on Staff at JFK Hospital and saved my life while I was in there.She has been my primary care about 20 years.Love and respect her.Her office staff is also wonderful.Denise has been there many years and is awesome.If you want a great doctor go here
