The spacious layout allows for various activities, and the cleanliness was impressive. Highly recommend this playground for a fun and memorable experience! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Beautiful peaceful park. It was my first time here. It is definitely tucked away, there's peace and lots of breeze. It's an awesome place to study and get away from the "mainland." Definitely would recommend.
I was here 1:30pm to 2:30pm super available and no people at this time.

This park is in a great location, just a couple minutes from the shopping area in Sanford. There’s a ton of area to run and even a place to play volleyball. The slides were, of course, a big hit. And my son loved the play car. While one car was missing the area as a whole looked very well maintained. There’s lots of interactive stuff on the playgrounds as well. This is one of the first parks in the area where I didn’t notice any ants. The only thing I would mention is that, while the play areas are pretty well shaded, the slide in smaller playground is in direct sunlight most of the day.

This park is awesome, they’ve got seats for picnics, volleyball area, soccer area, workout area & two sets of parks. One for very young around 1-2 & another for older like this one in the photo. They also have plenty of swings! This place is usually a little busy but worth it.

This is the best place to take a walk on the paved road and paths that circle the park while your older kids play in the grass catching a football, kicking around a soccer ball, or just plain hanging out with themselves or other kids. The children who go here are very accepting of other kids and hence it is common to see groups of kids playing catch or kicking balls around.

It is also a great place for a birthday picnic and for the little one to play on the playground.

Biking and jogging around the perimeter are favorite pastimes, too!

Lastly, a family friend who us a freshman in college coined it up nicely yesterday (August 2023, on a Saturday around 7 p.m.), "It is just so peaceful here."

We love this park, it has a lot of space to walk, play and practice stuff. Good part, they have restrooms too till they close. Even when it’s closed, the entry restricted, just the services and restrooms are closed, you can still visit. If you love volleyball, you’ll love this park. There are a lot of people getting together and playing all the time, you can simply go and join them. How cool is that! We visit regularly for our evening walks.

Big play area for kids. They have a exercise area big and small play ground for kids and toddlers. Lots of shade from trees and canopy.

Great place with a lot of activities. It contains a soapbox race track, a walking track, a place for volleyball with the Sand included, football playing field, and the kids playground had a ground up tires flooring that was soft and springy to protect little bones!

It has a lovely playground, swings, and picnic tables under cover. You have to park on the grass as there is no "specified" parking. There is also a track that is nice to walk around.

I loved Derby Park mainly because the kids loved it. The bathrooms were clean and there were two playgrounds..one for little kids and the other for bigger kids. They are both covered and out of direct sunlight. Which is awesome since we live in FL. There is plenty of room to run around. My 2 year old and 4 year old both enjoyed the bigger kids playground. They also have 2 cars on bouncy springs.

Love this little park. Walk my dog through this shady piece of heaven all the time. Today the Derby races were going on. There are stands to sit and watch, very cool. Place is so clean and kept up.

This is a great family friendly park. I've seen many people have family gatherings, sports group meetings and then there are those who come just to work out. It has a kids playground and a calisthenics workout park. It's an all around great park!

My youngest used to race his derby cars here for Boy Scouts. Hence the name. I like going to picnics here. It’s out of the way and always empty. It’s a really cute park.

Safe place to bring kids, and pets. I frequently walk laps daily. Park is always clean, and always see responsible people visiting. Partially shady and has clean gazebos with picnic benches.
