Southern RV

Great professional service! We have been bringing our RV to Jayson at Southern RV since we acquired it in 2016. He is honest and fair. He is happy to let us know if an issue is something simple we can take care of and save a few bucks, and recommends the best product for the job. If it's something that requires more expertise, then he takes care of it for us and has fair prices. We recommended him to some close friends who are also more than happy with his work.

May 12, 2024 This is an update to my previous review from a few of years ago. We purchased our RV from one of the large RV dealers. It didn't take us long to discover we needed to find someone with quicker service, and that we could trust. We found that and so much more at Southern RV. Jayson has always been so knowledgeable and helpful, plus their turnaround time is great.

It is with regret that the time has come to part with our RV for health reasons. Of course Southern RV is who I turned to, to sell our "2nd home". Jayson handled the Service, and he connected me with his cousin Joe, who is in charge of Sales. He found a qualified buyer for us within a matter of weeks, and got us the price we were asking. Also since my husband could no longer drive it, Joe was happy to come by and pick it up for us.

So I thank Jayson and Joe, of Southern RV for the past 7 plus years they  have taken care of us and our RV needs, I highly recommend them:)

Come down to my trailer in the deland area and had a few problems.. was flying home back to Canada in 3 days. they got all the work done, with a half a day to spare !

We went to Southern RV, Deland, FL, to have some work done on our RV, 2022 Fleetwood Frontier 34GT, had a blackout/sun shade installed for our front windshield. The staff was wonderful, we made an appointment, they were ready for us when we arrived, were done when they said it would be ready, pleasant experience, would use them again!

We love Southern RV! When we got referred to them for our RV needs we had no idea what a gem we'd found. If you're an RVer you know there is always the chance something is going to go wrong with your rig. When that happens to our rig we go to Southern RV. Jason is honest and hard working. We've got only praise for the work and help he has provided us. If you're looking for RV repairs or a rig, Southern RV in DeLand is the place to go. The also do consignments and sale of RVs.

Joe and the team at Southern RV Did an amazing job selling our 40ft Expedition within only a few months at our asking price. Very professional, family run business. I highly Recommend them!! Some day we'll be back in the market for an RV and we will head right to Southern RV.

I just picked up my 2018 Thor Chateau 22B from Consignment. Though it did not sell... (yet) Joe, Skylar and the entire Southern RV crew gave me outstanding customer service with a few items I had noticed upon pickup. If I'm ever in the market for another RV I will check Southern RV FIRST. Shop local and support family businesses. Being in the service industry myself (Realtor) I appreciate when a business addresses customer concerns and make them right. Outstanding customer service is hard to find! We have been looking for an RV for six months or more now. We have visited at least 10 RV dealerships. Yesterday, we drove our Fleetwood Discovery from Southern RV to our home in Durham. NC. We are in love. It's a family owned business and everyone there was knowledgeable and kind. It was a pleasant and informative process. Joe and Esmond answered every single question, sometimes twice. My husband is very good at questions. We felt they genuinely cared about us driving away with a coach in great working condition and took the time to tell us all about it. This is our first RV, so there is a lot for us to learn.

Great customer services. We were 10 minutes into a 3 month excursion. We had a gas stove problem in the rv. We pulled in to Southern RV, explained our issue. They had it fixed in 1/2 hour and we were on our way! Extremely appreciative of their attentiveness.

'UNCLE WAYNE MEEKS' (as he known) & I love to come here and buy products for our RV. All the employees are very knowledgeable and will help you with all the merchandise in the store plus order anything you need. We find their prices competitive or lower on each item we have purchased. They'll also answer questions you have when you're DIY for your own camper/rig. We have not tried their service department yet, but would go to them first due to our history with them so far. If you're in the Deland/Orange City/Daytona Beach/Debary areas, give them a try.

Absolutely very pleased with SRV. My husband and I just purchased a small RV that needed some work ,they completed all the work in good time. Big shout out to Joe who took the time to tutor us on how to use the appliances ,awning and the in and outs of the water systems.. so grateful .. Thanks SRV

Excellent service! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone needing service on their RV or their vehicle. Had a fifth wheel hitch installed in my truck. Jason, James and Joe know their business and are very good at it. Very reasonable pricing also.

They were very easy to work with when I needed my RV repaired. The front end was hit by a tire during a transport and it rite up the front end of my trailer. They were able to get the job done reusing some parts which saved me big money!

Skylar and Joe were super helpful and so patient. They went above and beyond to find us a trailer hitch and scissor jacks. Family owned business, and it feels like it! First time there and highly recommended.

SUPER FAST & FRIENDLY SERVICE!!! I called yesterday late afternoon looking for a part for my RV and I wasn't sure what I was looking for. The gentleman said they didn't have what I needed in stock and then proceeded to give me several options. I decided to order the part and was told it would be available sometime between 12-2pm. I got a call this morning at 9:30 am saying the part was in. Old time customer service.

Excellent customer service and very helpful I had a broken drain pipe in my shower and they had everything I needed I’m definitely using them for all my RV Repairs and parts. Thanks again for your Southern hospitality

I just purchased a class B motorhome from these folks. What an enjoyable and simple transaction. They kept me in the loop through the entire process and everything was ready when I arrived to pick it up.

They happily gave me a ride back from the Sanford airport after dropping off the rent car.

I'll do business there again. I suspect the earlier 1 star review is for the same RV and someone has his panties in a bunch because he waited too long.

Great family ran business. They were very helpful with us purchasing a navion that was advertised and we came from Oregon to purchase.

I come here for RV parts to repair my rig myself. I'm always greeted by the staff as if I was family and they are very knowledgeable and help me get exactly what I need to repair my RV right the first time! They are a full service facility that will work on rv's and also buy and sell rv's.
This is my go to place to keep my RV up and running!
They will always give you the best advice even if it means referring you to someplace else!

Off the beaten path of I-4 in Deland, Southern RV is the hometown RV dealer that caresa bout their customers. Looking for a used camper brought us to Deland, after stopping for gas on US-92, the clerk told us about Southern. We were greeted by Joe Hilton. He was very knowlegeable and patient, answering all our questions. We haven't bought just yet, but will return to Southern RV real soon....
