Gordon Food Service Store

Truthfully honest, I haven't been here in several years, since I sold my Butcher/deli. I came in today, looking for some hard to find items, that I want to use for the upcoming holidays. The store was not to busy this morning. Delighted to see several local chefs picking up items for their restaurants. Store was super clean. Shelves stocked. Today I found several items not on my list, but now I know where to find, and will make the drive across county to come more often.

Always a great place to get some bulk items. Whether it’s for the holidays or a party or just a good deal, GFS hits the spot. No membership needed!

I visited the store for the first time. I had ordered a case of Tilapia. It was super clean, friendly environment and professional employees. I will definitely be returning soon to really shop. My daughter and I. 😁

Gordon’s food has wonderful selections and quality: you can buy restaurant quality knives, cleaners, many other items just come on by. Last time I was there I purchased an apron, some gloves, a knife, oven, mitts, a pot, and a pan.

I wish I could give more than 5 stars. I drove a good distance this afternoon to make a purchase here and was treated with the utmost courtesy and respect by Scott, the manager on duty. He exemplifies "customer service" which so many businesses seem to have forgotten. If you have not been here before or it has been a while you owe it to yourself to make a visit. The store is immaculate and everything was faced up on the shelves as if the store had just opened. They have a lot of items not available in a traditional grocery store. It is a treat to find a place to shop with great products and even better personnel.

Always go here for everything. The workers are so helpful and help me once I walk in. Clean store and great prices.

I love this place. The staff is always pleasant, the store is always clean. Makes my shopping a pleasure. The prices aren't always the lowest but you can definitely find some deals!!

Really good products and great bulk pricing. If you can buy in a little bit larger you can save money. I bought 16 to 20 meals for around $50. They are my place for meats, spices, milk, eggs, waffle mix and juices. They also have unique options for chef type cookware!

Great place always go there if I need a larger quantity of something. Meat frozen items or seasoning for example. Easy to navigate.

Excellent. Even though they discontinued an item that I enjoyed the staff worked to find me a comparable product. They searched the computer system and shared thoughts on how my product could be replaced. Their replacement seems to be a good fit.

We hadn't been to the location on 4th St N in St. Petersburg in a few years. They have changed the lay out of the store a little and it actually looks much neater. They have a large selection of bulk foods. The cashier was very friendly. Even the manager, who was busy working stopped what he was doing to ask if we needed help finding anything. We complimented him on the store. His pride in the store and his work really shined through.
