This is my first experience in having water in my name. The phone rep was caring and full of concern. My water is not on yet but I believe it shall be the Best Experience Ever When It Is Turned On.

I have give 2 thumbs up for the night water leakage emergency team of Kevin and Kato. Both gentlemen were professional and efficient. Kevin while calling in my emergency provided good advice. Kato was on the spot within 30minutes, and although my wife and I had to take care of the leak because it was on our property, it was still a pleasant experience. Thank Kev and Kato.

Several times within the last few years including today we have had our sewer line back up with the blockage occurring beyond our property line. Each time we have called the maintenance crew has responded on the same day and have been able to quickly correct the problem. We really appreciate the prompt response and great attitude of those that came to help each time.

Excellent response to an online report! I went online to report a leak near a water valve in my front lawn at 3am and by late morning the next day (less than 8 hours later) the County crew was there fixing the leak. When I stepped out of the house, the Supervisor of the crew came to explain the problem with the water line and to tell me it was resolved before it could have gotten worse and thank me for reporting it. I appreciate the great effort!

I FINALLY was able to get someone on the phone, Brenda Lane, and she was amazing. She explained everything in depth and was very patience and pleasant. Best costumer service I've received in a while.

I called into DeKalb Watershed Management due to a concern regarding sewer back potentially backing up into my home from Snapfinger Creek. I spoke with Ms. Sandra, who was extremely polite and professional. She listened to my concerns and even called me back to provide and update on my ticket. Within the same business day workers showed up to my home to assess the situation. The technicians were polite and took the time to explain what was going on in laymen terms. Thank you!

I was concerned this morning when I found a discoloration in my tap water. I called DKWM and checked for problems in the system. I was advised that there is a water main issue in my area and a crew is working to correct the problem. I know that most of the time, folks are offering complaints, but I wish to give a praise for the abundance of clean water, and the excellent service that DeKalb County provides.
Thank you, water department workers! God bless you.

I want to commend the people in DeKalb County Watershed Management for a job well done. Although it's taken a while to complete everything, I have to say that as an individual homeowner, they have not let me fall through the crack. I reported a leak in the street near the base of my driveway in January. They came out in a timely manner and repaired the leak after having to dig up the threshold of my drive. Everything was filled in with stones so I could get in and out. When the weather got better, they came out and replaced my driveway threshold with concrete and more recently they installed sod on either side of the drive. All I am waiting for now is for then to come out with asphalt to fill the space in the street that had been dug out at the threshold of my drive.
I've hear and read about all kinds of horror stories regarding DeKalb Water, but I have to give them credit for doing a good job for me, including billing. Thank you DeKalb County Watershed Management!

My water was turned off with no notice due to a clerical error. I called in to address the issue and was greeted with a less than knowledgeable service rep who couldn't explain to me the proper steps to get this resolved. That being said, I went to the office in person and the rep was able to resolve the issue. She told me it could be up to 5 days before my water was restored which is a huge inconvenience for any family. The water was turned back on within 24 hours of my visit so I cant be upset. Yes, they messed up. However, they resolved it in a respectful and timely manner. I read all of the horror stories associated with this group and I was truly worried it would be weeks before we got our water back. 4 stars-it would have been a 5 except for the service rep having no clue as to why my account was made inactive.
