We've been Schwan's customers for almost 20 years off and on through moves between southwest and central Florida....now in Orlando. In response to a prior review, we have never had a billing issue and whenever we've had a problem with a product Schwans is quick to remedy the situation always in our favor.

We've had a series of drivers, both men & women, over the years and only had one in all that time that I felt compelled to call their headquarters, who responded with great apology and replaced him before the next delivery.....now that's called customer service.

I guess if there's any negatives is that once in a blue moon a favorite product gets dropped....like the apple berry juice, cinnamon-apple breakfast sticks, and the ground beef packs.....hint, hint.

My daughter was 6 years old when we started getting Schwans and I was doing home daycare and the drivers were always so sweet to the little ones who would clamor around them because they were their 'ice cream man'. A couple of moves and our garage became the hangout spot for her teenage friends and where the Schwans truck would put our order in the freezer....once again, he/she, met with a welcome that usually included applause for the ice cream and various treats, like corn dogs and chicken nuggets, One memory stands out from that time when Hurricane Charley struck and took out the side of the house with the garage but somehow left the freezer undamaged. With no power for two weeks, we had a neighborhood cookout every one of those nights that included everything in our stock of Schwans products, including a lot of ice cream, that the younger crowd really appreciated. Anyway, our Schwans guy, pulled up about a week later while all those same teenagers that he mostly knew by name by then were over helping us in still cleaning-up and started handing out popsicles to the very hot and sweaty kids. He had also had considerable damage to his own house in neighboring Port Charlotte but still arrived at our home to 'check on' his customers on our usual delivery date and then on the next delivery when we were very short $$-wise, the same driver arranged for an extension in paying....it's a service that this great company's policy offers that I've needed to use when times since then have been tough which I greatly appreciate, believe me.

Great company, great employees, great customer service....I'd give them 10 stars if it was possible.

I have enjoyed Schwans for almost a year now and I will never turn back. So far everything we have tried is delicious. The only thing not well received is the very big onion rings. The small and medium are delicious but the extra large are too tuff to chew. That's it. The biscuits are yummy and the sausage that I have been looking for for years I found here. There is so much I want to try. Thank you Schwan's!!

I highly recommend everybody to stay away from this local franchise. I have ordered from them 3 times and all three times there was a problem. Missing food or different items. We never corrected the first two items as we could use them and they were in the same price range. However, this last order was just a disaster and I emailed and left voice messages.
Did not get the ice cream we ask for. Unfortunately we don't like the kind that was delivered. Please refund money.
3. No mini bow tie pasta?? Missing?Please refund money.
4. These Pecan Caramel Rolls - freezer burned throughout. Who delivers a box that looks like this to begin with? I made them any way hoping - you couldn't even eat them, they tasted like glue. Please refund money? Somebody from corporate emailed me JESSICA HARLEY and said this was no way for them to do business and she would have the local manager refund the money. That was January 8th - She was useless also - nothing happened. Refunding Ice Cream, Pecan Rolls, Mini bow tie pasta will not put them out of business. Just a shame.

I have been a Schwan customer for well over 2 years. The food is on the pricey side, but it can be convenient, and most of the drivers are nice. I am giving 1 star today because they have a terrible accounting system, and I don't trust them to do billing anymore. If you use Schwann's, pay cash and don't let them have your information.

The pay is absolutely horrible vs the hours worked per week 50+hours. You’re Salaried 140$ flat; (no over time pay) flat $140 a week no raise. How do you start after 10am on a Route Sales Rep. position and your 1st stop is 1 hour or more away. Their system is set up where you have 50 plus stops a day.They want you to sale frozen food door to door as late as 10pm-at (Night).They also have you do an(Unpaid) ride along for “1” day.Their product does not sale itself, you really have to hustle hard to sale their products just to have that additional pay bonus.This is totally insane, unethical to mistreat good employees like this. I see why there’s a desperate need of employees.

I’m relatively new, only two deliveries. I’ve been trying to resolve a charge problem for THREE WEEKS now, as I was charged for an item I didn’t receive. Have called three times, each time being told I’d be refunded, and so far nothing. I don’t deal with shady companies! So long, Schwan’s!! Low and behold an item missing from today’s delivery as well!! WTH? Get it together!!!!
