Very authentic and traditional. My date explained that it's been family owned for generations! That makes my soul smile. The menu headings were primarily in Spanish, so I was overly grateful for the English descriptions. The food was very fresh and very spicy. That caught me off guard.

We will be back. I just know to ask for a milder flavoring.

Have to give 5 stars because the place is very authentic. There's very little English spoken, but it works. The Carne a Tampiquena was phenomenal. The steak was very good with a ton of flavor, as were the beans and cheese enchiladas. Will be back again for sure.

Nice little place with an awesome ambience. There's a nice jukebox that's always playing some great Mexican tunes or you can submit your own requests. They offer imported beers, and the food is very good. Try their tacos (steak tacos are pictured)! The best part is that they are actually open pretty late, til 1 am so you can fulfill those late night cravings! Hard to compete with that.

Wow, my fish taco 🌮 was delicious. Their house salsa is mouth watering. Very busy but friendly service and great food.

Tonight I stayed for dine in and ordered Enchiladas. They were really good and the green sauce is pretty hot. The serving was huge and worth the $. I always get late night tacos from this place, and they are tasty, affordable and open late hours, which is very convenient. I absolutely recommend

Amazing place... with amazing food! Chorizos tacos and the carnitas quesadillas...mmm. Definitely a come back. Too many dishes to try... will take me several visits. Convenient for late late dinner, closing at 1am but kitchen closes around 12 midnight. Waitress... the best! Friendly and smiling. Very conscientious about cleaning tables, sauces and even the pen to sign for the check. Pack with Mexicans... which is a great sign that the food is authentic and delicious wanna see a soccer game?... this is the place! Big TVs on every direction

The Caldo de res (beef soup) is always amazing! Steaming hot bowl with chunks of beef so tender, you can slice through them with a fork! Loaded with chunks of vegetables in a slightly spicy broth! Perfect for this time of year!!

La Pastorcita is the perfect place for beginners to authentic Mexican food to get started because they have menus in English and their servers speak English as well. It was here that I tried one of my fav dishes ever chilaquiles.

Here are the main components of Chilaquiles:
1. Deep fried tortillas: fried fresh here and broken up into small pieces, almost like chips but a bit smaller
2. Your choice of salsa: I choose green salsa always and theirs is great
3. Topped with crema and cheese: who can complain about these on anything??
4. Choice of meat: You can get this vegetarian or with egg, chicken or steak. Personally I go with chicken (their grilled chicken is great here) but in Mexico this is often a breakfast food and goes great with eggs.

After visiting Mexico my friends tell me this is more of a waffle House equivalent (either breakfast or really late night food) but I could eat them anytime!

Super legit. All the salsas and hot sauces and no joke brands. Hot hot! Beautiful hard-working waitresses. Food was everything I expected and more. Fresca. I'm in love. This not meh Tex Mex. This is real. Don't bring anyone but your most treasured people here. Ingrates aren't worthy. Very clean. Very everything good.

The food was great. Service was good. Ambience is a very homely, inviting diner type. Would recommend the tacos and enchiladas!

It's always the unassuming places that blow you away. A hidden gem here on Buford Highway! We grabbed some barbacoa/chorizo/steak tacos, flautas, and beers. HIGHLY recommend!

This place is the real deal. You can feel it as soon as you walk in there. You can taste it with the first bite. I think this place has the best corn tortillas in town. Makes you want to keep coming back for more.

OMG...so delicious! Loved the chorizo Sopas, the chicken Flauntas, and all the tacos!!! All of them are delicious...chicken, chorizo, pastor. Recommend adding pineapple to the pastor. Awesome salsas too.

Best tacos in Brookhaven area. Al pastor and chorizo were my favorite.

The first time I stepped foot into this place it was to pick up a GrubHub order. I stood there for a good 10-15 minutes before I was even acknowledged. That's usually a dealbreaker for me when it comes to whether or not I would personally patronize the establishment. But I was recently looking for Mexican restaurants that were open late & what do you know...La Pastorcita pops up! Lol. I decided to give them a try & I was not disappointed. The food is absolutely mouth-watering. I've visited a few Mexican restaurants locally in the past few months & La Pastorcita is the BEST...hands down! Now, if we can just get this greeting your customers thing down, we'll be good to go. 😏

Love their fish taco, a little wait but it’s worth it.

I really enjoyed my chorizo taco and chicken taco. The limes and salsas they include were great too. The horchata was great and so was the service.

Delicious authentic Mexican food. The restaurant can get a bit crowded on the weekends but meals are enjoyable nonetheless. Friendly staff provides great service.
