Loved this park! We went for a walk with our Dog Baxter and it’s a great place to walk, run cycle. Very accessible paths which is helpful if you have a stroller. We will definitely come back.

A great place for hiking and biking! Trails are well maintained and main trails are paved and wide enough for passing. Bathrooms were fine and well tended. I highly recommend this park!

Stopped with the pooch to take a walk, the trail marks are kinda worn out and confusing. I thought I got lost and was gonna have to sleep on this bench. Very nice area though.

All of the trails are well shaded and there's a nice path that will take you to the edge of Lake Beresford. The play ground is nice for the kids to burn the rest of their energy. Places for parents to rest after the walks and hikes and clean bathrooms and water fountains.

Solid park for family fun or adventure. Spots on the trails that lead to the Lake feel wild and exciting while the paved trails and kids park/pavilion give a taste of the tamed outdoors. A little bit of something for everyone.

Nice park, the main trail is a paved loop trail with lots of shade this is about 2 miles. This trail is right off the parking lot, great for bike rides and running. There is also 2 trails Red and Blue that run through the inside forest inside of the paved loop. If you go through the underpass under the train tracks that starts a different trail, the spring to spring trail. This trail will take you to Blue Springs, this trail is paved and very wide great for road bikes, most of it is under the canopy of trees. It does have some elevation changes. There are lots of benches for stopping if you need to rest. This is part of the Volusia County Coast to Coast Trail System. There are two hiking trails off this paved trail that will take you back to Lake Beresford, If you are looking for a hiking experience you can see alligators, birds and flowers. You can also fish from there. I highly recommend this park it's great for being so close to the city.

Beautiful little Volusia County park. Great walking trails, and an amazing sunset view. One of the few places in Central Florida to see the sunset over water. It also has a nice playground, and a bike trail that runs through the middle of the park.

This trail is good when you're not set on a full hiking day. There are several paths that interconnect along the way - blue, red, and paved. The paved trail is the longest of the three.

Along the way, you'll find markers that identify plants and trees. As well, there are plenty of things to identify for yourself, such as plants, fungi, and animal tracks. It's great for a nature walk/study.

Our family enjoys coming to Lake Beresford Park to walk, skate and bike the paved trails and hike the various well cared for unpaved paths. There is a small playground and pavilion with picnic tables and nice, clean restrooms located nearby. We bring our dogs on leashes. Parking is sometomes a hot commodity on busy days but most of the time we have no issue. Tonight we saw 5 deer cross the trail in front of us. The property is beautiful!

Found out about this park thru a friend. It connects to the Spring to Spring trail. It's all paved and great for bikes. Very well maintained and scenic. What a great day outdoors.

It has many different trails to follow; several are 'wilderness dirt trails' and several are paved. Two of the trails go down and beside the lake. Lots of birds. I haven't seen wildlife, other than birds and squirrels. All trails are well kept; the one dirt trail to the right of the bike overpass ends in a dead end, kind of mooshy at the end. Easy trails and shaded. Love going here!

Beresford park is a lovely place with lots of room. There's a paved bike path that goes for miles and miles and lots of dirt bike trails perfect for hiking and biking.

Beautiful options with paved trails for bikers, roller blades, etc. I felt very safe walking alone as there were plenty of other people around.

Great little park with a 1.8 mi trail. The main trail is paved and you meet hikers, bikers and runners. Several unpaved trails snake through the park. It's really nice and quiet throughout the park. The restroom at the main parking lot was really nice and clean.

Absolutely beautiful place to walk, run, ride bikes or however you like to exercise. There are benches to have a rest if needed. A Nice playground for the kiddos with covered picnic tables for your outdoor party.

Great park for running, walking and especially biking. We see wildlife all the time but be careful to keep your distance. We have seen wild boar, bear and rattlesnakes at a distance. We never felt unsafe but made sure to not go closer and cautiously moved away.

The smaller paved trail (1.8 miles), that circles the park, has many smaller dirt trails that crisscross throughout the woods inside the trail's inner circle. People also horseback riding these trails.

The playground is fine but lacks swings. The equipment tends to be too hot for the kids to use during the summer.

There are covered picnic tables, public restrooms and water fountains.

The longer paved trail goes south from this park past Blue Springs. The trail was expanded a couple years ago by a couple of miles past Blue Springs and will eventually join up with trails further south.
