Needed a New Mexican place since my usual shut down and I was not disappointed! I’m so glad I gave their new lunch menu a try. These were some of the most flavorful tacos I’ve ever had. Light weight so they were easy on the stomach and seasoned perfectly. Plus, the man that was serving me was so polite and professional. Cozy and inviting atmosphere. Highly recommend and will be coming to grab a bite again!

Always seen this place and had never been in, wish i had come before. We had breakfast there today. Forgot to take some pictures of what we all chose. Food was amazing for a great price. A small diner. Will take some photos next time. Will definitely be going back for lunch items. I was told they do Guatemalan and Mexican cuisine on some nights, I think I have that right. But absolutely loved it.

The service was excellent here. I loved my country fried steak with the home fries, over easy eggs, and English muffin. My husband really loved the cheeseburger. Such a neat old school diner.

They serve breakfast all day and Mexican food after 4:00 pm. I got the burrito with rice and beans, which was delicious. You can customize your order with different proteins and whatever you like. The service is also friendly.

We had a group of 6 and we all had an outstanding experience! Our group was able to sit at the bar together for breakfast. The food was amazing. The service was exceptional. I personally had the breakfast quesadilla and it was the best quesadilla I’ve ever had! Next time we are in Louisville we will 100% be back.

I went last month and got the country ham plate,it was beyond perfection,I will definitely be going back,the cook did an awesome job,and my waitress was awesome.

Pretty short on help so I wouldn't go there in a hurry. Food was absolutely out of this world. Best country fried steak sandwich around if you ask me. Will be back.

Ate off the new evening menu. Food was absolutely delicious and our server was just as good, drinks stayed full, very helpful and polite! Food was authentic Mexican with a lot of flavor. Kids had chicken tenders and fries we ate empanadas & Gordita’s 🔥🔥🔥🔥

Service was absolutley the friendliest you could ask for. Also very attentive. Dinner menu is Mexican and Guatemala tacos and they were very good.

We came here on a Friday early evening (5:30pm-ish) and were alone in the restaurant. Service was fast and attentive, and the food was obviously made to order. Portions were perfect--every wonderful, but I didn't feel like I was caring half of everybody's plate back home. Adults loved the burrito al pastor and the chicken quesadilla. The sauces (on the side and totally optional) were spicy and delicious. The kids were really wowed by the french fries. They were fresh and salty and frankly pretty perfect. We will 100% be back.

As a quick note, they prefer cash only and do charge a small fee for paying with a credit card. Just something to consider before heading that way.

Great little place for breakfast, lunch or dinner. I had the Denver omelet and others had sandwiches. Nothing fancy, just a few booths and a some additional seats at the counter. Good food and great service!

The coffee is really dang good. The staff is friendly and service was fast and precise. I like people who interact with my kid and take considerations for that fact that he is so young (like bring his drink in a cup with a lid automatically or not bringing him a plate of food that is burning hot until it's cool enough for him to eat, AND bringing it out sooner so he doesn't have to wait very long). I got breakfast and it is really good, I will definitely be coming back. Food is inexpensive, love the diner atmosphere. Not a lot of stimulation, very calm homey kind of feel. I've been to this place off and on for years from a young age and I think its better now than ever. Parking was convenient too. It's a cold night out but we are warm in here even sitting by the window. And my kid is eating his food! Which is kind of rare, so WIN! I recommend for sure!

Haven't ate here in about 12 years, but it's still great. Food was awesome,service was great. I love old school diners they are a lost art. If your on Bardstown road you have to stop by twig and leaf

If you know what it's gonna be going in, it's perfect. Diner basics done well! Simple, fast breakfast.

Absolutely adore this place. Came here all the time with my grandpa when I lived with him. Need to visit more often. I came back a few months ago, after not going for a few years, the food is still just as good. May honestly be better. I'd need to go back soon and reform my opinion. Love y'all to the bottom of my heart.

I never expected to love the Twig And Leaf, but the Guatemalan food is outstanding! So good!

The place is clean, the staff is friendly too. The portions are generous, and the price is fair.
