Great food! Had the lobster taco, jerk pork taco, and inferno shrimp quesadilla. The pork is marinated with a cinnamon blend which was amazing! Also if you are trying to test your ability to handle spicy food, you need to try the inferno shrimp!!

I'm not saying our service had always been fabulous but hands down it is good service and great food! Since moving to Decatur, we've become serious regulars. Pace margaritas!

Food was great. Atmosphere seemed pretty decent. We went on a Wednesday night so there wasn't a large crowd or anything. My friends drinks were pretty strong, which they loved and I would've too if I weren't the driver for the night.

A very cozy and friendly place with an amazing staff. The food is always very good and prompt in hot. An excellent location in the middle of Oakhurst that lets you really get a great feeling for the neighborhood. And the kid who helped us out name Mica was excellent. He wasn't even the waiter but he seemed to really want us to have a good time and get what we ordered.

My wife and I love coming here when we're in the mood for Mexican. The tacos are, no exaggeration, some of the best that I've ever had. They have a decent beer selection, featuring some local brews, and a massive selection of tequilas.

If I were to offer one critique, I would say that the service could stand to improve slightly. Which is not to say it is bad, by any means! I just feel like they could sometimes stand to be a little more attentive.

My family and I go here once a week! They are pet and baby friendly! Nicki is one of the best people I've met in Decatur! She makes you feel like family and makes our visit special every time! Food on point! Drinks even better. You wont be disappointed.

I’ve been to this restaurant once before, I got two or three of the tacos and they were good then. But today I came in wanting something a little bit different. I asked the waitress if the chicken soup was good, and of course she replied it’s really good people get it all the time. Man oh man when I tell you that soup is G - O - O - D good, it’s good! I picked up a to go order for my coworker and everyone was smelling and ruling over the flavor of the soup. I will definitely be back to get some of that again.

Chill and yummy. I've been here a few times with friends. We've never disappointed. Nice drink specials. The service has always been good. It's dependable for a casual night with friends. Try the bean dip. Highly recommended!

I love Mexican food but this place by far has this delicious Chicken soup that I only order from here. I try to order it everyday😂😂 .It’s full of broth, shredded chicken, cilantro, avocado, tomatoes and rice. I promise you after you try this you will keep coming back like me! I can’t make this up! This soup hit the spot each time. Check them out.

Quiet and lowkey for a mid afternoon trip. Mason was tending bar, engaged in conversation when we asked questions, and made great suggestions. Beer and food was reasonably priced. It was a great place just to spend some time out of the house. We'll be back!

This place is amazing. Love all of the crew members here. They make you feel like part of the family! The food is Great!! Do yourself a favor and make this place a part of your weekly habits.

Everything is always fresh. And I never wait. I feel like 5 minutes after ordering I already have my food. Whether I'm alone or with a party this always stands true. They have a spectacular restaurant and it really feels like you're in a whole nother little world while you're inside.

We might be on a first name basis with the staff at Matador. Ok... so we like it... a lot! They have amazing tacos. Amazing drinks. And who doesn't need a 'slightly hole-in-the-wall' Mexican place in their lives?!

Casual, friendly, welcoming! Bartenders were awesomely inviting! Very surprised by the flavor and freshness of the food! Pork was amazing! Cinnamon adds the perfect pop. In love! Will be back.

Great Family atmosphere and the staff has remained pretty much the same for the past few years-which really gives you that sense of coming to a friends house for margaritas and tacos. The SOUP-is the #truth! And the patio seating is all year round!

We love this place for mexican food. It's very Tex Mex. Good chips with endless salsa. The salsa actually has flavor ie spice. Cold beer. Really good margarita's. Fantastic fajitas. What more do you want?

They have a kids eat free on Tuesdays. Know this if you have children and you want to take advantage of it OR you wish to avoid it. It gets crowded and LOUD.

When I lived in the area ( have since moved) my wife and I went here about once a week. Tacos are amazing. black bean soup is amazing. friendly staff and good prices. i gauge most other cantinas against Matador.

Food was fresh and really good.... Everything clean... Waiting staff was great.. Only problem pre made margaritas.. You don't have the option of non alcoholic. Nice outside area and prices where great! Parking is not very good

We love this place! Laid back, comfortable atmosphere with great food (specialty tacos and stuffed poblano pepper are my favorites), and awesome drinks. Great prices, too. Highly recommend!
