I love this shop both for its selection of new titles, as well as the extensive collection of antique books- don’t forget to take a left just past the register to find the other section of the store. The displays by the entrance have lots of great recommendations from various book clubs, and there is also a section of employee recommendations. On my most recent visit I picked up a signed copy of Godfall by Van Jensen, among a few other good finds from the antiques section. The older books are very well organized by topic so I was able to find several good titles that pertain to my major in college. The staff is very helpful and knowledgeable. Once visited in 2020 and didn’t realize the shop was closed except for pickup orders- luckily the man running the store was kind enough to take my preferences at the door, and offered me a few titles I would like and I was able to have a book to read that night because his recommendations were spot on. I used to visit infrequently when I lived in the perimeter, but now this shop is very close to me so I’ll be dropping in more often. Parking can be a little tricky but just make sure you’re brushed up on your parallel parking skills.

A lovely find! This is a charming locally owned bookstore that has an extensive program sponsoring authors and book signings at various venues in the city. You can order books online, and depending on your zipcode, they offer delivery to nearby neighborhoods. If you need to pick up, on the weekends, the business across the street allows parking. Otherwise, street parking is it. The staff are super nice. I noticed they have a section of used books for sale as well. I will browse there on my next visit.

Great bookstore, highly recommend stopping by if you are a book collector, great rare books section. I’ve been in person twice and I’ve ordered multiple books online associated with their numerous signing events. Staff have always been friendly and extremely helpful with any questions. Recommend signing up for their mailing list to stay up to date on events.

I absolutely adore this bookstore. A Cappella has an incredible used book collection, while also keeping a nicely curated new book collection. I found two books I have been looking for forever at reasonable prices, and one was even stuck behind a bookshelf. They found it anyway!! Emmy was sweet and super helpful. I look forward to coming back soon!

I love A Cappella. Not only is it my favorite Atlanta bookstore, but they always host interesting events. If you’ve never been to one, check out their events page.

Cute little book shop with many wonderful titles like the book of O.E. Butler's last interview, and here I had believed that I had read everything by the phenomenal author (and the Patternmaster more than twice!)

Even though this shop is a bit far off for me, I plan to be back..

The booksellers at A Cappella Books are fantastic! They have consistently gone above and beyond for me. They host loads of author talks in and around Atlanta and have a large selection of signed books. They are one of the very best independent bookstores. Check out their store or their website, I guarantee you will find more than one book you just have to have!

I love being able to sell my old books, ensuring they will be read by someone new and getting me store credit in the process. Everyone who works here has been lovely. Support your local book store!

Pros:
- Friendly and helpful clerk
- diverse selection of books

Cons:
- pretty small

I came here with a topic in mind, the housing segregation of the mid 20th century in America. After a bit of looking and help from the clerk, I found the exact book I wanted, staring right at me. I wanted to get something to eat around the area and the gentleman helped me and I had a terrific dinner and great beer. Great place, and it's the only used book store in the area.

We love this place! We live in Minneapolis but every time we're in town, we make it a point to stop here. They have a unique selection of both new and used books. We always find something fun that we wouldn't be able to buy in a big box store. The staff is always friendly and helpful. It's a great place to lose yourself in books for an afternoon!
