Mason Mill Dog Park

The creek behind the fenced in park was very smelly. Smells of sulfur which is a by product of some sort of bacteria. Still a hoot for water loving dogs. We hosed and showered straight afterwards. It didn’t smell 3 years ago. Hmmm.

This is my new favorite dog park in Atlanta. There's a dog park, trails, and a swimming hole all for your furry friends. The people I've met on multiple occasions are very friendly. Everyone made sure their dogs played nice with my puppy.

It was clean,even water for the dogs and people.pine bark every were.you could run with your dog not worry about steping in a pile or sliping on wet grass.be nice all them were like this 1.. Deplex all over..its a wonder i found this crown jewel..inside 285

Spectacular times are to be had here. All the dogs who come here are sweet and the people even sweeter. There is plenty of room and even water and bowls in the spring and summer. Everyone respects the unspoken rules such as picking up after the dogs and ensuring no rough play. Plus when your done there is a beautiful nature walk you and your fury friend can go on, you both will be walked by nature in all its beauty. This is s great dog and human park to walk and enjoy the world in.

Great dog park located in the Emory area. A little weird that the large dog park is smaller than the small dog area, but its not usually overcrowded for it to be an issue. All wood chips for those who prefer grass. Particularly love that right behind the park is access to trails and a creek. My pup loves splashing around the water!
UPDATE: Dekalb County just did some maintenance, and in the process switched the large and small dog park signs. Now the bigger park is for larger dogs. :)

Great little dog park. There are two separate areas and usually at least a handful of friendly dogs and their owners. We try to bring our dog here a few times per week. The parking is somewhat limited, but since the home construction still hasn't reached this area of the complex (early 2019), there is usually space on the streets to park. I would recommend bringing your own water and poop bags.

Perfect size fenced areas for both large and small dogs, in a very rural not too busy area. The only down fall is that it’s kinda of hard to find all tucked away, with the water bowls being kinda small, and its NOT a part of the Mason Hill Park, but the HUGE upside is the hidden treasure behind the dog park that includes a secluded natural running natural water where the dogs can roam and play! The people were great and friendly as well! I will be returning! My dogs loved it!

Very nice and big for dogs to run around. No grass just lots of bark on ground

Perfect place to take dogs if you're fearful of them interacting with larger or smaller dogs. They two separate areas for dogs over and under 30 pounds, which makes it perfect for me. They also have water fountains and waste disposal bags so this place has everything. It's also secluded and had ample parking so it's perfect.

There’s a park for small pups and another for larger dogs. Great access to trails- just be careful in the fall. The leaves hid the tree roots on the trail. We were almost grievously injured.

Great dog park because of the great dogs that choose this place to hang. Oh yeah, the humans are pretty cool too. My dogs really wish they would use a more appropriate type of mulch! Please!

This is the best dog park I've ever utilized. Large big dog park with a small creek running through it, small dog park with nothing but grass. Small agility course if you have a clever dog (which mine is not).

The dog park is well maintained and also has a pass to go down to the creek where the dogs can play. Everyone is very respectful and control their dogs if the need arises.

Very clean and dogs are friendly, there's a couple trails behind park where you can walk ur dog. Also has fountains,bring poop bags.

My dogs love it here. Along with the two play areas theres also a trail with a pond my dogs love to run through.

Trails and river are great too!

This is a great spot for an active dog. It's fairly shaded and the people who frequent it are always friendly and attentive to their dogs.

Forget the dog park that hiking trail is amazing

Love this place for a long walk or fun with our pup. A lot of space and water cooler for the animals as they play
