Our daughter took us to this quaint beautiful book store during our stay in Atlanta... this store generates positive vibes, with a friendly atmosphere, and of course with its wonderful unique range and variety of books. Both me and my wife loved it. Even our 3 years old granddaughter enjoyed reading a short book in children's corner, and thereafter chose three books for buying.
Would love to visit again.

I love Charis Books! They have an amazing selection of books for youth and adults and I always want to take home the whole store when I visit. I also love their ramped entrance, accessible button door, and their porch pick up option. I am new to the South but Charis makes me feel right at home. I love this place!

Amazing bookstore. I was in town for a concert and needed somewhere to chill until my hotel room was ready. The vibes are immaculate, the variety of books was amazing and all the staff were super friendly and helpful. Will definitely be back the next time I am in Atlanta!!

An incredible and welcoming space. Charis has been my home for books for the almost decade I've lived in Atlanta. Their staff is so friendly, knowledgeable and kind and creates an inviting space that makes our Atlanta community more vibrant and interconnected everyday.

Haven't visited in person, however, I had to come on here and say THANK YOU for having Sim Kern on your Charis Circle Youtube channel. What a wonderful interview and conversation. Francis, ER and Sim did a wonderful job. I will definitely be purchasing some books from the website. Please keep doing what you are doing. You are all great. So glad I found Charis.

One of the south's best bookstores, now affiliated with Agnes Scott College, which renovated one of its most beautiful homes for Charis. Extremely helpful staff, great depth in feminist and gender-related books, with a spacious back porch for reading and sipping coffee. Will special order any book. Stop by and see if you agree!

My favorite bookstore ever - thoughtfully curated selection in the cutest Victorian house across from Agnes Scott. They put on frequent author and community events that are inclusive and mindful of accessibility.

Charis Book and More is and has been a safe haven for the marginalized, silenced, misunderstood and isolated for almost fifty years. Thank you, Charis Books and More for bravely standing with the oppressed, bringing joy and connection to children and families, and welcoming all with love.

This place is wicked cool. Wonderful books, lovely pins, friendly and courteous staff, cards that are too good to be true. It is truly a wonderful piece of Decatur. 12/10 would recommend.

Charis is one of the oldest feminist bookstores in the country. They have a great selection of books on feminist and LGBTQ issues and interests. They also have a lot of events throughout the week, like book signings and get togethers for LGBTQ folks.

Amazing selection of books, awesome groups and fun community events

Attended this book store about a month ago. I had been seeking out S.R Cooper, "You Can Come Out Now" book! This was the only place that held the last physical copy. I am truly proud of her personal courage to step out and speak her truth and live free. This is a must read for everyone. My attention was clued to every story she wrote. Read the book in a couple of days. Definitely a must read, and purchae. I Can't wait for volume 2.
