Atlanta Masjid of Al-Islam

Went here to hear Dr. Cornel West speak and was treated very warmly as a non Muslim. I was very impressed by the genuine community that has formed here there were lots of people selling various goods in the parking lot area and they have a restaurant and a school. The kids are exceptionally well behaved and the morality they are being taught shows.

I went to a funeral for a friemd’s father. The service was a great celebration of life. It was was different from the Baptist Funeral Services I have attended over the years. The service was causal and open, allowing others to offer insight on the life and affairs of the departed. During the repass, we learned even more about her father during words of reflections that were honest, sincere and oftentimes humorous. The food was organic, healthy and delicious! It was great to have this experience as I supported my friend. I am still a Christian, but if I wasn’t The hospitality and warmth extended at The Atlanta Masjid of Al-Islam would encourage me to visit again!
I did visit the restaurant next door and met the young lady who runs the herbal area. She was knowledgeable, kind and very helpful! It was good to know there is an organic restaurant and herbal store in my backyard!

Superb place to get a balanced presentation of Islam. Extremely welcoming group of people who obviously put family, community and spirituality at the forefront of their lives.

This place is without a doubt a jewel for the Atlanta community. 🙏🏾 Drop by, I'm sure you won't regret it.

ALHAMDULILLAH a wonderful Masjid and the Muslim are very helpful and kind, I always feel at peace when I attend Jumma

I have lived in Georgia close to 13 years now and I have never come across a more accepting and homey feel masjid. I live in Alpharetta area and I been to plenty close by. Every masjid has its cranky or rude folk here and there but this masjid over gives a very pleasant feel. I live about 45 mins to an hour from it and I do not hesitate to go to jummah or events when I can. Im new to the community and I've been hanging around here and there for a few months now. And I have to give it a 10/10. They also have amazing jummahs and plethora of engaging group activities ranging from early teens and 18+. I'm headed there as I speak!

Lord have mercy.. make your two Rakats and hurry up next door and get that fried chicken.

I love the Atlanta Masjid! Community events and involvement is unprecedented. There’s always room for anyone to get involved. I do have a few suggestions, but I will take them up with imams; they are very accessible, and open to suggestions and constructive criticism.

Jumah here was the experience of a lifetime. We were welcomed as if we were not strangers. The parking lot transforms into a shopping bazar. There is also a hala restaurant, butcher shop, boutique, and barbershop. The feeling to pray and be amongst Muslims who looked like me was priceless

This Masjid has a very strong feeling of family. As a visitor from out of town, I can say I felt welcomed.

ONE OF MY FAVORITE PLACES TO VISIT!

Super Masjid. Imam with sense of humor and sisters have super powers as they keep the crowd moving and satiated during Ramadan's Memorial Day ifthar. One super sister in particular is owed an extra salad (different from Salat) inshallah.

Although I do not stay in close proximity I try to come to Jummah at Atlanta Masjid every week. It is so welcoming and I enjoy the Imam. I am glad I found this masjid and looking forward to attending events on my spare time inshaAllah

Attended Eid Prayer and Eid day. I brought my family and we drove from Orlando. What a blessing a class act and joy to celebrate with this community

Best masjid outside of the messengers Masjid, the kabah, and Masjid Taqwa in Brooklyn. Very great community in which will be an inspiring example. I can’t see making Eid prayer nowhere else but here!

Such a nice place for Learning and worship.

Extremely excellent lectures every Friday. I love everything about the people and the community in general.
