Kirkwood Car Wash & Dog Wash Atlanta

Stopped by to clean up my car and had a wonderful experience!!! The carwash was clean and quiet and I had no issues with the function of the machines from start to finish. The new instruction signs were easy to follow and I just used them pretty much in order and my car came out great!

Additionally, the owner, Mr. Stuart, happened to be there during my wash and he was extremely pleasant! He walked around to make sure that everything was going well with the customers and even provided me with a low pressure wax on the house! My car went from great to immaculate! It is so amazing when owners go above and beyond for the patrons of their business!

I will definitely be back!

Mr. Vick was the most welcoming help I could have asked for as it was my first time at the car wash the other day and I didn’t have a clue what to do lol. He even offered to wash my car for me so it would go faster since I was low on $ (the washes are timed). After the wash he went above and beyond as I told him I didn’t have any more money to offer him -he went and dried my car BY HAND top to bottom, inside and outside windows and my car has never looked better. He took great car of me and another young lady right after me and didn’t even ask anything in exchange. I’ll be back and my family too!

Fantastic self serve car wash! I come here regularly and refuse to trust anyone else to wash my car. Super easy to use, machine always work great and they have a dog wash station! Stuart the owner is also one of the nicest people I’ve met and gave me free tokens to use to wash my dog! All around great experience!

This is by far my favorite car wash in the Atlanta area. I’m going to keep this review short and sweet, let me list some of my favorite things about this spot:

1. The pressure washers are powerful.

2. Theres a degreaser mode for your engine bay and wheels.

3. Staff is always polite, and the wash itself is well maintained

4. Shade :)

5. The spray wax is amazing, my paint looks dripping wet every time.

6. Location, the wash is right next door to a gas station, they have everything you need in there from detailing products to microfiber towels.

7. The value, if you can work quickly you wont need more than $6. This is so much better than spending $10 on a machine wash that’s going to leave swirls in your paint.

Pro tip: bring a couple towels from home, or if you’re feeling bouji, I recommend you bring an electric leaf blower.

Conclusion: Overall, this location is unmatched for the price and the convenience, easy 5 stars. I would definitely recommend. My car hasn’t looked this good since it drove off the lot at the dealership.

Just come here…. Please do. Best car wash experience. The owner is a true gentleman, he was helpful and very nice. The place is clean and very cool looking, modern option to pay with your debit card which is very neat unlike the other places where you have to constantly use quarters (yes you can use coins here also). I will come here whenever I’m close by the area.

I was at AFRD 18 when I saw a community member come up and start cleaning their dog. Me and the Firefighters thought that was a cool business. Instead of messing up your home trying to bathe your pet. Load your pet into the truck on a pretty day and everything you need is right there. Very thoughtful concept.

Recently moved to Atlanta and was looking for a reliable self-service car wash. Saw great reviews about Kirkwood Car Wash and my review will remain consistent with the ones I’ve read. It was an excellent experience with great customer service. Clear instructions and nice products. Would highly recommend to anyone!

The owner happened to be here on this late evening when i arrived I didn’t even know he was the owner . Very courteous guy this place has everything you need to get the job done with your car. Everything is reasonable priced , and it’s worth it . Good place good owner 5 stars !!!!!!!

I love this car wash! They take credit/debit cards and have a max limit of 15 minutes which is more than enough to get your car looking immaculate. Don’t go to the drive thru ones and get your car half washed

Kirkwood Car Wash is a living, breathing icon of our neighborhood (and perhaps all of Intown Atlanta!) -- one of the last of its kind. The owner, Stuart Brady, takes great care in maintaining the car wash equipment and great pride in providing a safe and ENJOYABLE space for customers to wash their vehicles and meet their neighbors! That said, it is a SELF SERVICE CAR WASH -- not a high-end detailing place. Set your expectations and they will be EXCEEDED.

Okay... so... believe it or not, I'd never used a self-service car wash before today (always had someone else do it or used a drive through). The owner, Mr. Stuart, saw me dough-eyed reading the (very self explanatory) how to sign and immediately came to give me tips and consistently checked in on me throughout (but not in an overbearing, man-splainy type of way).

I had issues with my debit card reading in the machine and he went above and beyond to make sure I didn't leave with a dirty car. He also gave me a complimentary towel and showed me how the dog wash works before I left (which I will also be returning to use).

Mr. Stuart is so patient and kind that even if the car wash wasn't top notch (which it was), I would still give him my business. I'm not surprised to see so many glowing reviews of the wash and Mr. Stuart himself. Truly first class customer service in a world where that doesn't often exist anymore. Highly recommend.

I was just there. I wash my dog there all the time since he gives me such a hard time at home. The owner stopped by and took a picture of me and my big boy. I also took two pictures.

My go-to self-service carwash. They are usually busy but there's normally no wait to get a wash bay or vacuum. Their equipment is normally in good working order and they accept credit cards to operate the wash. There's ample space to dry your car just beyond the wash bays. There are also 2 dog wash bays at the end of the building to keep your best friend looking his best.

Great place. This is my third time being here. An older gentleman (whom i assume is the owner) greeted me and gave me some words of advice. Not every day you get that kind of service! This may be a touchless car wash, but my heart was certainly touched by the people here.

One of the last self service car washes in the city. Always clean, machines always work. They even take credit cards now!

Such a well maintained car wash with reasonable prices! I have a soft top Jeep that requires hand washing so I love coming here. The owner is very kind and responsive of any issues. I know I am in good hands at this car wash!

Great experience, I came here a few days ago since all the honeydew from the aphids in the trees turned my car into a dark, sticky mess. Considering my car was fairly dirty, it took a while to wash. About $20 worth. All the instructions are posted on the wall and the machines were easy to use. I came back the next day for the dog wash and the owner asked if I had used the wax, I hadn't, so he went out of his way to help put the wax on my car free of charge. It was a very sweet interaction and I'm glad I had come back. Most automatic washes don't do much (trust me, I tried) so this was a really great option for me and I recommend it to anyone who is physically capable.

Victory was AMAZING! He was super helpful. It was my first time I had no idea what I was doing! He walked me through the entire process even told me about the dog station. Clean facility. Very nicely ran! I def will be back!!
