OMG……I am so sorry. I forgot to snap a pic when I got my food. It was good though. 😂 I went for their anniversary today and took my coworker to lunch. Neither of us had eaten at The Flying Biscuit before. The restaurant was very easy to find. It sits on the corner of 10th street and Piedmont, but Lord!!!!!!! Parking is absolutely atrocious!!!! Thankfully there is a lot right next to/ behind the building, but Jesus!!!!!! It’s tight and there aren’t many spots. If you have an suv, you are not going to be able to park here. My coworker and I got the flying biscuit breakfast; eggs, chicken sausage patties, grits, and a biscuit. Our server was named Lexi and she was really nice. The decor in the restaurant was eclectic and cute. There is art all over the walls and ceiling. Our food came out super fast and it was hot. We both enjoyed the meal. My coworker said her biscuit kept falling apart, but she enjoyed it still. The grits were super creamy. So much so, that they almost didn’t event taste like grits. They were so good. The chicken sausage was tasty and not greasy at all. My biscuit………was amazing. I needed you to pause for those few seconds to give respect to how good the biscuit tasted. I do have an after picture of my plate. Sorry again…….I was really excited. We only paid $11.27 for two meals. They add a credit card processing fee when you pay using a card. I’d definitely go back here, but I’d have to be in the neighborhood already or taking Uber. This would be a great place to eat breakfast before a day at Piedmont park.

We had such a great experience here! The service was so friendly and the food was top notch. I was so impressed! Parking is free and available directly behind the building. Just park in designated Flying Biscuit customer spots.

Down-to-earth spot with top-notch breakfast. The chicken chorizo hash is fantastic!! The biscuit is very good. Highly recommend one of the hashes or the straight up egg biscuit. Great service all around, from the door greeter, gives you everyone you need to know and then the wait staff is fantastic. Fast service, great service, great attitude. You leave happy. Feels like a nice communal, local staple

Wonderful local cafe. Fantastic location in Midtown adjacent to Piedmont Park.

Friendly staff and AMAZING BISCUITS.

My warning to you is this - if you’re coming for breakfast biscuits, be ready to fill yourself full or split the order. The portion sizes and generous.

All I can say is that this place is a must. Never have I had such creamy grits in my life, besides homemade. 😋 The food was so flavorful, the service was excellent and overall a wonderful atmosphere 👌🏾

This place is a comfortable vibe. From start to finish everyone you talk to at the restaurant is so pleasant. Joseph was our server (at the bar), he was extremely nice. My boyfriend ordered a traditional breakfast with a waffle. From his point of view the waffle was the fluffiest waffle ever. He kept reiterating how delicious it was couple with the chicken sausage. I ordered the fried green tomatoes. They were a 7 out of 10 but the cashew relish wasn’t bad. It was sweet and a tad spicy. I have no complaints. I also ordered shrimp and grits and when I tell you!!! Their grits are the best grits ever. I have no idea what method they used to make them but the grits could easily stand alone. Lastly, the homemade biscuit with apple butter was on point as well. I will be coming back and if u go as for Joseph from Louisiana

This was my first time here and I must say I wasn’t disappointed, the moon potatoes were delicious and the biscuits truly melted into my mouth with the cranberry apple butter no words could explain the taste of excellence. I topped my day off with oatmeal and teas, which was delicious too. Now my server Alex was great and very Attentive. I will definitely come again.

Super fun place with unique art, amazing food, and nice staff. I picked this place for our group for breakfast after reading some other reviews and wanted to pay it forward by adding my own.

It was a short distance from the hotel where we are staying, was easy to find and has lot parking right behind the building. We were seated right away and the staff did a great job taking orders quickly, answering questions, and making suggestions when we asked.

Would definitely go back again this trip if we have time and for sure next time we’re in town.

Short Review: Go here. Eat here. You will not regret it.

Longer Review:
You walk into a lively diner with… strong diner vibes. It is exactly what you would expect from a diner, but a more colorful and modern setting.

The service is fast, efficient and friendly, and the food is absolutely amazing. In terms of breakfast places, this is going to be my #1 spot in Atlanta moving forward. I love it!

This place was amazing. Wait, it was about 40 minutes, though, stood outside in line. Wait, it was worth it. It was a Saturday, gay pride week. Chicken and waffles were delicious, I've never had the two for breakfast before. My wife had biscuits and gravy, with grits, I tried, and I hate grits, but their grits were awesome, and I would eat again.

This place had all the feels. I love the hustle and bustle of a well oiled restaurant. So if you don’t like small spaces and waiting outside if there is a wait then it’s not a place for you. We sat at the bar. The servers were hilarious talking about the day to day. The service was fast. Food was scrumptious. I would definitely try it out.

I’ve been to their Kennesaw location multiple times and absolutely love it. I tried this midtown location for the first time today and unsurprisingly the experience was just as excellent. My go to is the oatmeal pancakes which are hearty and delicious. This place really gives off a homey sunday family breakfast atmosphere and I’m convinced there is nothing bad on the menu. The service was great and I wish I had the name of my waitress today but she was excellent. Very kind, and on top of it. To top it all off, I mentioned to her that despite having been to the restaurant multiple times - I had never tried one of their famous biscuits (my go to order “drops of Jupiter” doesn’t come with one) my waitress then gave me one for free even after I paid my check…and it lived up to the hype.

Well done to the staff at this place and I will for sure be a routine customer.

Perfect breakfast spot! Colorful and full of character. So glad I found this on Google !

You just don't find conversions of delicious food and a perfect atmosphere these days but The Flying biscuit has exactly what we're lacking in the food culture.

Simply delicious breakfast stop!

The service was quick and some of the friendliest around. The food came out quickly and was good and hot.

I had biscuits topped with eggs over easy, topped with sausage gravy (with a hint of rosemary)! It was awesome! Then add a side of the creamiest grits I’ve ever had it was phenomenal! And I am definitely one that will rate a place entirely on their biscuits and gravy!

I’d go back in a heartbeat!

Love love love! They have some of the best and softest waffles that I’ve ever tasted. Mimosa glasses are small but still a great place to dine.

I can not praise this place enough. My favourite place to eat breakfast in ATL. The staff are really friendly, helpful and very good at what they do. The food is amazing, the menu choice is huge, and they are more than happy to tend to any dietary requests or concerns you may have. It can get very busy at times, so be aware of what time you arrive. It’s also great value for money.

Not gonna lie, I wish i was able to eat breakfast there regularly. It is that good. It is super cozy and the vibe is modern yet nostalgic? Anyway, the apple butter is amazing! And the grits.... THE GRITS. I'm from Mississippi so I consider myself a grits connoisseur LOL These are my favorite grits. Exactly like what I had when I was a little kid. But somehow better! They were just the right combo of butter and salt. But were so light and fluffy but not dry. Absolutely love and will visit every time I visit Atlanta. We dined late on a Sunday night and it was almost empty so I'd be interested to see the vibe at peak hours.

PS the curved hallway separating the dining area is ICONIC.
