Budget Car Rental

Perhaps they cleaned up their operation to save face, but my experience was nothing like the other reviews here. Budget was the only rental car place without a line during pick-up, the car was pristine, and dropoff was smooth and straightforward. However, I can't write this without throwing a stray at Hertz, who has certainly given me the treatment described in the other posts, so I get it lol.

Let me tell you my experience at Atl Budget-
My car was clean and ready to go when I got there, but that's not the reason I'm writing the review.
I left my laptop in the car upon return. I called and talked to TONY. He took the time to find the car and search for the laptop. He called me right back to let me know he found it. I sent him a shipping label, and he sent out within hours.
I will only rent from Budget Rental after my experience with TONY. Every business should have a TONY for customer service! Thanks so much!

I had an exceptional experience with Budget Rental Car. Despite being completely sold out, the clerk went above and beyond to secure a vehicle for me, showcasing exemplary customer service. The car I received was in immaculate condition and the entire staff left a lasting impression with their professionalism and kindness. Kudos to the team for making my rental experience one of the best! Highly recommend.

Budget was very good. Nice people in the front desk and delivering and receiving the car back.

Just Atlanta airport is super clogged at peak days. Even though we had a reservation weeks in advance you had to wait for a car between 30 to 120 minutes they said. We checked in and we’re told to wait for two hours average to get the car. We came back to the airport to have dinner and while we were waiting for our food we got the call that was ready, was about 20 min waiting time only. There was no line in Budget. Other companies had good 30 people in line waiting to get to the attendant at the front desk. Their waiting time was about 6 hours for a car.

Honestly can’t speak for those having otherbad experiences but I couldn’t give enough stars with mine. Had seamless easy pickup at airport, know they will charge a deposit and buying the ins saves time at the counter fyi. So they aren’t all the most pleasant ppl but it’s budget airport counter who is lol. My grandmother passed on the visit before I came back to drop off so I had to ext a couple days but couldn’t anything done on the website and hardly could get the right person on the phone. But they called back, helped quickly and upon late drop they didnt gash me for fees and was a quick drop off. Be prepared for the pick and drop and I think you’ll have a decent experience. Now just waiting to see how long before the deposit is returned haha.

I found the process very straight forward and easy. The customer care representatives I contacted initially were very efficient and helpful. One of them a female; I think she said her name is Loy stayed with me on the phone to help me through the booking.

The reason why I did not give a 10, is the delay at the airport. My pickup time was supposed to be at 1:30EST 15th of September 2023 but I had to wait close to 2 hrs for a car. I also noticed I got a different car from the one I booked. That turned out to be better actually.

Other than the delay, I consider my experience very good and most definitely use Budget again and will recommend the service. It was within my budget. I am glad I was able to move around in ATL.

My experience with Budget car rental was nothing short of exceptional. The highlight was the unexpected upgrade to a car that exceeded my expectations - a gesture that felt incredibly generous. I can’t tell you how grateful I am for Natasha at Budget car rental in Park Center Atlanta for saving the day. There were no hotels available within a 40 minute drive of Atlanta and the flights to my city were booked for over 3 days. Delta made a huge mess. The airline changed gates for flights without notifying the passengers and so the flight was missed. I was stuck in the airport, no hotels, and all rental cars agencies were out of available cars (along with many other frustrated travelers). I tried all levels in the ATL airport. Budget was the only one who came through.

I was willing to wait for a car to come in and Natasha was patient and dedicated to making sure the operations ran smoothly for everyone throughout the late hours of the evening. Another couple had been stuck there since 9am hoping to find a way back to Florida- she helped them as well.

To Tim her manager - she deserves so much for her dedication to her job.

We will definitely look to Budget first for now on.

Septmeber 15, 2023 - ATL/Hartfield Airport Location- Outstanding Service during a car shortage. When we arrived at midnight from Chi many rental car companies were out of cars due to significant number of events this weekend in ATL Metro. Management found us a minivan so we wouldnt be w/o a car. I returned the minivan later that morning to swamp out for a car. Lines were incredible long but Manager ANDREW W. went to work. He found me another car within minutes and saved our entire weekend. He exceeded my expectations. Bonus - The car he found was a Brand New Camry, XSE Daytona Gray w/Red Leather seats. It was amazing to drive. What a great experience. I'll definitely rent for Budget ATL/Hartfield in the future. Thanks Andrew W to you and your amazing team. Dr. Brian Johnson

Great experience! The staff was effecicient, pleasant, and knowledgeable from begining to return. Return Rental signs are clear and highly visible. Mad props to Alex at check out for providing friendly and efficient service at returns!

After Waiting 2 hours at dollar rental and being told that they had NO more cars available and there was a 6- 7 wait time for a car, I walked over to Budget. I was assisted right away by, Michele on 5/12. She was extremely professional and very friendly. In the future, all my reservations will be with Budget!!! THANK YOU!!

Staff was very nice and professional. I understand that it's not their policy to have folks that already have reservations wait in lines for 45+ minutes with those that do not have reservations. I wish pick up was as seamless as drop off. People have places to be... what's the point of me making my reservations online, if I still have to stand in long lines inside, instead of going directly to the garage to pick up said reserved vehicle. Then telling me that the vehicle that I reserved IS NOT AVAILABLE... having to take a vehicle 2x the size of what I reserved. Though it was a very nice upgrade, I still would've preferred the vehicle that I reserved.

We tried booking a car through “ACE” because it was the cheapest option, when we arrived they said they had no cars left and couldn’t honor our reservation. We went to three counters before we found Budget had cars. The agent was extremely kind, saw we were frustrated, gave us a good deal on a car and threw in full coverage for not additional charge (I normally opt out). Within 10 min of driving away, we were on the highway and a rock hits the windshield leaving a large crack. That would have ruined our entire trip, except I knew we had full coverage so it was no big deal. Signed a paper when we got back and caught our flight. So grateful for that sympathetic agent who helped us out!

Atlanta has an awesome Car Rental area and Budget was extremely easy to navigate. Everyone was very helpful, and friendly.

Excellent experience with this location, the pickup and dropoff process was very swift being a FastBreak member. The car was brand new, very clean. Highly recommended!.
Rental Car facility (all rentals) are a bit further from the airport and you have to take a train to and from the Terminal so account for some extra time.

Easy to rent... easy to return... getting to the rental car center was a nightmare but I blame the airport...

ATL went to the wrong stand, and she still helped me. Awesome customer service. That's all I needed. Thx Budget

My experience with Budget Car Rental was terrific! The customer service providers at both pick-up and drop-off were very helpful and the car was clean, in good care, and a good value. Will definitely rent from Budget again!

Check out went very smoothly, Fastbreak is a great timesaver, Budget employees both at pickup and return were great! The car was clean and very well equipped. Would definatley recommend based on my experience.

Great experience with Budget! Online reservation was easy. Price was good. Car was ready when we arrived. Check in was easy and drop off was even easier. Picked up at the ATL airport and was able to drop off at the Bham airport. No problems at all. Highly recommend!!
