Awesome atmosphere with nice outdoor seating. Brandi Q was our server and she was incredibly friendly and efficient. We got the gator bites which were good, the calamari was some of the best we’ve had (very tender and fresh) but the grouper fingers were phenomenal!! VERY FRESH! We are actually going back this evening just for the grouper fingers. We called three relatives who live in nearby Atlanta and told them about the place and gave them our servers name so they can hopefully visit this restaurant soon. Highly recommend.

Went for a late lunch on a Saturday afternoon and such a great experience we had. The food was fantastic, I had the signature Grouper finger basket and they were oh so good. Breaded lightly with the right amount of crunch, severed piping hot and fresh. This was paired with their Cajun grits which were out of this world. My wife had the grilled grouper which was also very good. Your on the lake so the atmosphere is wonderful, feels like you are on vacation. We usually go by boat but this time we drove as it was a little chilly. This is one of our go to places as it never disappoints, the staff is also great and their service was top notch. If you are on the the lake or near Flowery Branch the this is a must go to spot.

One of our favorite places! Baja Tacos are perfection and the grouper fingers are so, so good! Anna, our server, was friendly and helpful. And dining by the Lake is fantastic! We’ll keep coming back again and again!

The mango mahi mahi was good but Brandi Q made our dinner an experience - and given that there were eleven of us that was no small feat.

With lots of outdoor seating and a sand box for the kids it is a perfect place to enjoy a beautiful evening. It felt like PCB but without the long drive.

We were pleasantly surprised when we visited this lakeside restaurant. As luck would have it it was a rainy afternoon, so we couldn't fully experience the outside seating or view. However, inside was busy and lively and our waitress quickly helped us with drinks and our order. Menu items were fresh and very tasty. We had fish tacos and a turkey burger (the photo in the menu got me, what can I say). Both were really well prepared and the tacos were huge! Be sure to try their fries! We rounded it all off with a delicious key lime pie to share. Will definitely be back, next time on a sunny day.

Fried pickles, fish, shrimp, and chocolate cake. The food was good, the service was great, all the ladies were very nice and attentive, and the view was amazing. I have always loved the water so seeing all the boats makes me feel at home. As far as the chocolate cake, you might need to share it with 2 or 3 other people. It is massive and extremely good, just crazy rich for a skinny guy like me.

We live so close and so often forget this hidden gem. Great spot to sit out on the deck for dinner at the lake and welcome in spring. The grouper fingers are a staple and ah-mazing! Everything was great! If you’re lucky enough to sit in Brandi Q’s section, you won’t be disappointed. Great service, super attentive, and just a wonderful human being to chat with for a few. Thanks for a nice evening out!

We had the most enjoyable experience last night with my parents. Such a great ambiance right on the lake. The food was amazing and our waitress Clark was the absolute BEST! We never had to ask for a thing. She was so kind and attentive. We highly recommend Fish Tales. If you go ask for Clark! You won't be disappointed. We will be seeing her a lot this spring and summer. Thank you Clark for your amazing service.

Delicious and fun seafood with great atmosphere. Definitely start off with the Fish Tales (fried grouper) and drizzle some malt vinegar before dipping it in the dill sauce...so crispy and fresh! We got the oyster poboys, creole pasta, grilled grouper sandwich, and the shrimp and grits for our entree. They were all plentiful and delicious, and I loved my side of sweet potato fries that are dusted with cinnamon and sugar. We went on a Fri night for dinner and thankfully we got there at 5pm and had no problem getting seats but there was a large waiting area once we finished eating. The restaurant has a large welcoming sandbox for kids and a welcoming field for those who want to grab some food while in a helicopter.

This place is outstanding. We moved to Buford from Savannah. We experienced great seafood in Savannah. We found that Fish Tales equals any seafood restaurant we have tried in Savannah. First, our server, Ofek, was outstanding. He treated us like family. He was probably one of the best servers we have ever had.

As for food. My wife got the grouper basket. She normally doesn't get fried food, but tried this. She is now hooked on the fish basket. She said leftovers were almost as good as the original meal. I got the seafood basket. The oysters were outstanding. The shrimp were average. Next time, I will get the grouper and oysters.

I got the Tale Ale and my wife got wine. Both were great.

This place is a definite go to. Prices are great and views are beautiful. I highly recommend.

So awesome! We loved everything about this place - the view, the setting, the staff! The lobster bisque was the best I have ever had, so good that we took doubles to go. Shrimp and grits and shrimp pasta were also really good and well-balanced and spiced. The view of the lake just adds an additional plus to the whole picture! The staff is knowledgeable, friendly and quick! I would highly recommend and take the drive out!

First time coming here with my boyfriend and everything was great. He took me to Pig Tales and enjoyed it so we decided to try here. Food was great and our server Brook was wonderful!

Moved here from Ohio and was looking for chill place with good drinks, good food and good people. And found it! Brandy is A1, top tier server and the rest of the staff was just as great! Already came back for a 2nd visit and it won’t be the last! Thanks Fish Tails!!

This place was amazing and the waiter, Zach, nailed it in every aspect. Couldn't ask for better food or service. It's been a while since I've found such a perfect match. Zach is the bomb. Adding to this review, I just had my second experience with this place and it was just as awesome as the first. We had Ben this time for our waiter and he did an awesome job. Also met Zach again and of course he was awesome as well. This place had such great food and service. Pricing is perfect for the quality and quantity of food you get. Some of the best seafood not on the coast.

Our go-to seafood restaurant in Flowery Branch, GA. Fish Tacos are the best around. Staff is great. Brook M served us today and did a perfect job!

Great time, great atmosphere! Connor, our server, who was new, was terrific! Very polite and helpful! Kids enjoyed and hit the sandbox for a few. Basketball on TV.

Burgers were great per kiddo, coconut shrimp and Pina colada sauce were excellent, grouper meal was delicious. Salmon and ahi tuna salad fantastic. Fish (stick like) were real good, too. The Mac n cheese bites and sweet and spicy shrimp appetizers were good, too! Nothing disappointed. Was a beautiful night, view of palm trees and water.

The voodoo buckets were really tasty, too!!!

I feel like I’m on vacation here, the quality of the food is excellent. I’m a big Cajun seafood lover, and this place did not disappoint! Great place for family and friends to hang out.
