El Santo Coyote Mexican Restaurant Bar and Grill

Wow just doesn’t cover our experience here! Very authentic decor and menu. We had the guacamole and it was amazing. It tasted as good as the guacamole we had in Mexico! The margaritas were perfect! The salsa was made table side and was great too. I had the yummy taco salad. Family ordered chicken burrito, kids beans and cheese burrito, and tampiquira. For dessert the flan was so rich and delicious, portion was big enough we all shared. Everything was absolutely delicious. My mother in law and I couldn’t finish our taco salad and burrito so we have food for later. We already plan to come again next week!!
Oh, and the staff was amazing and attentive!

Food Review: El Santo Coyote is 100% the best Mexican Restaurant in town and I'm disappointed in Waycross for not supporting this local business more! Regularly when I go in there is an empty house and I don't understand.

There food is not only amazing, its fresh, including freshly made salsa right at your table WHICH YOU CAN PICK WHAT GOES IN YOUR SALSA! I have eaten there plenty of times and have not been disappointed once!

You walk in to great service, and uniquely created menus and a BEAUTIFUL environment! The place has amazing architecture, cultural significance and detail. The first time I went my jaw-dropped as I didnt expect a place to be this beautiful *attaching pictures*

NOT TO MENTION the prices are affordable! For two people it was $35 before tip, most people spend that at a place with less amazing service/quality food.

Please support this place if you are able to. Waycross needs high quality places like this!

Wonderful experience, and the food was "deliciosa." Our server, Chrystal, was fantastic, sharing the story of the place. The best part is they also have a Cuban Bakery in the same building. After enjoying a great meal, we indulged in wonderful desserts and coffee.

I had a large steak with a portobello mushroom on top with cheese cooked on a cactus leaf! Absolutely awesome!
We had our Christmas party there this year and it was a total success. Nice to go to a restaurant that always does a little extra!

I have saw a couple posts about El Santo Coyote in Waycross being a well kept secret but was skeptical because every time we drive by it’s empty. I am not sure why because everything about it is fabulous! It’s clean, the decor is amazing, the service is fast and attentive and the food is delicious!

They took the time to decorate their tables for Valentine’s Day! Made the night so much more special with their couples dinner ideas with fajitas. They kept our drinks full and endless chips and salsa until our meal was ready!

Waycross has a secret! I discovered this place through a friend's post and investigated it myself. Yes they're open! Oh my heavens what a treat! The leather bound menu, table side char grilled tomatoe salsa, and cheer atmosphere brings you to feel like you're in another part of the country. Fresh ingredients prepped daily and an incredibly friendly staff. Stop in and find out for yourself. Help support this local business. Shop local. Dine local.

Delicious food , Good size portions, Friendly owners daughter, we will be eating here again . Tried the cuban sandwich, shrimp and chicken fajitas , ceevecha and a fried yuka roll, and 2 pieces of pie. Everything is delicious.

Amazing food, service & atmosphere!! I saw some reviews complaining about the slow service which concerned me at first but it was the perfect speed of service from where I come from (Chicago). It was such a wonderful dining experience. Food was authentic & delicious (even have huitlacoche on the menu which is rare to find) margaritas were fantastic & the waitress was so pleasant.

I highly recommend & I will come back next time I'm in town!!

I went on a first date on Wednesday night and our server was the sweetest and so very nice. She made sure we were taken good care of the whole time. I'm definitely coming back again and bring my family as well.

Super delicious Mexican food. Quite authentic! The staff was super friendly, Crystal and George were amazing!!! The seafood was excellent, the salsa was made fresh table side, the fajitas were good as well. The decor was beyond anything I’ve ever seen at a Mexican restaurant. I’m incredibly picky about my Mexican food, but this is the best I’ve had not only in Georgia, but the whole of the east coast. A little pricy but worth the cost.

Wonderful large chimichangas and the service is outstanding (thanks Charlie for the dance). Will definitely be back also simply the BEST salsa I have had in a long long time.

We are in from out of town and loves this gem. The atmosphere was great, food was delicious, and service was impeccable. We were pleasantly surprised by table-side salsa that was great and as fresh as you can get. Fajitas were excellent and the portions were huge. Our waitress was so friendly and her service was impeccable - she took excellent care of us. We will definitely be back the next time we are in Waycross!

Food was amazing, they hand mix their salsa in front of you to your desired spice and it was so good I loved it and I don’t eat salsa very often. A small margarita was huge I shared it with my boyfriend. And the server was absolutely amazing. Sweetest person ever!!!

It had been some time since we dined in this AMAZING restaurant. So glad we came back. Food was Delicious starting with the Salsa made right at the table. Jalapeno poppers wrapped in perfectly cooked bacon, so yummy. We enjoyed a very relaxing lunch together.
The four of us raved about the food, service & the attention given to every detail. Can't wait to go back!
Oh and the BEST margarita in Town.

Best salsa I’ve ever had! It was very fresh. If I could have nothing but their salsa all day I would. Crystal, our waitress, made it perfectly. She is also very hospitable and enthusiastic. Excellent service!

I have been very hesitant to come to here because of all the bad reviews that I’ve heard, but I’m so glad I decided to give this place a chance! The food is fresh, hot, and seasoned to perfection! The salsa made table side is a plus as well. We had waitress Crystal and she is an absolute gem! She deserves a raise.

The Shrimp Momia is wonderful. I enjoy the fresh salsa & guacamole. The seafood combo was great!
