Captain Joe's Seafood, Waycross, GA

These meals were so so very good. Everything hot. My fish sandwich and baked potato both cooked perfectly. My husband's meal was surf and turf a ribeye cooked perfectly and fried shrimp that were awesome and BIG. The salad bar was off the chain as well. So worth the money.

We had a reunion of old retired Winn-Dixie managers. The restaurant done a wonderful job in every way. We appreciate Suzanne taking such good care of our group of old men. Food was good and service was great! Best fried shrimp and fried dill pickles around anywhere. Thanks again,

I went there for the first time with my friend and I love this restaurant and if you are into a salad bar then you got to check it out because it's loaded with everything you would ever want from a salad bar!! It's a meal in it's self. I have a habit when I go out to eat it's always seafood and it was the best ever!! My friend had prime rib and he also loved it.couldnt ask for better.

I was in the mood for soup and salad for dinner, and not quite sure why I chose Caprain Joe's. However, I'm happy I did. I had veggie soup that was awesome and my usual version of a salad. Joe's has been in Waycross for many years and has had it's ups and downs like any other restaurant. I might be wrong, but I'm guessing they have been in Waycross close to 40 years.

On a road trip and randomly stopped here. All the staff were so friendly, they have a great salad bar, very generous portions, and the food was very good. Oh and the hush puppies were delicious 😋.

We really enjoyed eating at this Captain Joe's! The ladies were very nice, and made sure we didn't need anything. Our food was hot and delicious! Offered us drinks to go! ❤

After church today myself and three other friends went to Captain Joe’s or we had different lunches all smaller appetite because there’s plenty with the salad bar which is an awesome salad bar

I had a small appetite chicken fingers with french fries and a salad bar

another had grilled salmon and salad bar a third had grilled chicken fingers and a salad bar

I forget what the fourth person had but the food was good it came quick

The waitress name was Ashleigh And she was awesome

I have been here many times and would recommend it to anyone

Perfectly cooked fried flounder was great. Staff was awesome as well!

The food was perfect and the service was amazing really great for the price

Our waitress was the only bad thing. It was about an hour before closing. There was only about 3 other couples in there. When she finally came for our drink order, we ordered at the same time. That was fast, and delicious! The other girls were very nice in making sure we was taken care of.
Must stop by if you're in the area!

Stopped by this place on our way back from fishing and the staff were very accommodating by sitting us in a closed section so we could keep an eye on the boat. Very sweet of them. But what really made it a great experience was the great service and wonderful food! Really a very good choice to stop and eat, nice spacious seating, great atmosphere, delicious salad bar and i could go on but that would take up your eating time so just go there!

We went at 5:30 on Tuesday. We were from out of town. First time visit. Everyone was nice and helpful. The food was very good. We had shrimp. The salad bar was amazing. A lot of choices. The best salad I’ve ever seen. I will be back soon. I might not even wait for my doctor appointment. It is worth driving an hour drive. Thank you! Our waitress was amazing as well.

I've been visiting this place since I was a kid during our vacations. Love the salad bar. The seafood was fresh. They accommodated our large party very well.

Just came home from eating dinner here. Was a very nice experience. The scallops were delicious. So were the onion rings. Salad bar was excellent! The crab legs were small and very salty, so I couldn't eat them all. They have Pepsi drinks which is great. Had Root beer. No liquor served.

Service was amazing. Waitress always had a smile and extremely polite. The food awesome. Had the devil crab cake. Was skeptical at first. Grew up in Tampa Fl. Had many deviled crabs. Have to say they were close achieving the taste of the ones I grew up eating
