Broadlawn Memorial Gardens was the 5th cemetery we visited in the Atlanta area in the space of 3 days. They were also the farthest from our location in midtown, but the cemetery was worth the drive. We loved the serene location, and the grounds were well kept and scrupulously maintained. Paul and Don were forthright and transparent about their services and the associated costs. Their prices of all the line items were within range, and the quality of service was excellent. Any any questions we had going in were comfortably answered, and we gave mom a deserving and respectful funeral, and a befitting resting place. Thanks, Paul. I'm happy to recommend Broadlawn Memorial Gardens

During my darkest days in life losing my husband suddenly at 44 I had no choice but to make arrangements. When I arrived it was pouring rain and I was greeted with an umbrella and walked inside to sit. Don listened to me and offered plots on paper, when he seen my grief he said “let’s go walk around and find the right place for your husband.” He walked in the pouring rain with me!” For about 30 minutes without one complaint.

As far as the father and son go my dealings have been more with the son-Paul often referred to as the “Long gray beard”. I’m 4 months in and he still comes by and pats me on the back and asks me if I’m ok and if everything looks good or if I need anything. He stood and listened to me one day when he could clearly see it was all just too much. He has been wonderful.

All of these people including the gentlemen cutting grass, working on plots, sales personnel or setting up for services have shown me so much support. Every time I visit I’m greeted with so much kindness. The gentleman cutting grass stopping to wave at me and telling me to keep smiling. Paul walking over to check on me anytime he sees me.

But keep in mind I treat them all with respect and have common courtesy when I visit, place items around my husband, and making sure I do not interrupt or hinder someone else’s burial service when I visit. After all they have to cut grass, weed eat, and maintain these plots so minding where and what you put down is courtesy.

They are wonderful people and I have no regrets trusting them with my dear husbands resting place. I look forward to seeing them when I visit.

We were talked to with respect and dignity, Paul held our hands through the entire process. He explained everything and anything that we didn't understand, he went over again. He was very personable and gave his full attention. I am very pleased.

For the past 3 years the American Legion and North Georgia Bearded Villains have placed flags the week before Memorial Day. Today while we were actively placing flags to honor our fallen brothers and sisters, the lawn care father/son combo rudely told us that since we wouldn't put the flags where THEY wanted them that they would just remove them. They were told the rules and regulations for flag etiquette. The less than professional manner that they had with us will not be tolerated nor should be expected while trying to honor our Nation's fallen service members. If those flags are moved before 5 July 2020 I will have news crews out there to show how unpatriotic, disrespectful and down right rude they were.

What a horrible place, stay away from business, they were rude, uncompassionate, gave us 20 minutes to bury our loved one and asked us to leave the premises immediately, he said he had work to do and that there were too many people, asked us to leave and come back in an hour, I went to the office to complain and by the time i got back to the grave he had buried our loved one knowing that we had asked for more time, keep in mind that when i signed the contract they told me they would wait until my family was gone to put the body under grown, that it was up to us, we had someone come play music and the guy said we couldn't play that kind of music here, when confronted with his attitude he said it was his family land and that they made the rules.
needless to say, my family did not get the closure we deserved and paid for.

In my opinion, If you are looking for a caring and gracious environment, skip this one. The nice lots are sold out and the owner is extremely unwilling to work with the customer. He's happy to sell you an inferior lot. The grounds are unkempt with limbs and half dug areas, dirt roads and full of old plastic flowers.

This graveyard is not maintained. And our flowers and holder were missing. During the graveside service they rushed the family and we’re intrusive with the burial. I definitely would not recommend using this company and graveyard.
