The BBQ Brisket Nachos were off the chain, good! We ordered them and then everyone else at the bar started ordering them. Service was awesome and they didn’t mind me sitting at the bar even though I was only drinking water. There was indoor or outdoor seating available. Great place to stop in when on the bikes and a even better place to spend a Saturday afternoon with friends.

Great place in Downtown Clayton, GA. Very dog friendly and have a great outside. But it was surprisingly freezing in mid-April so we sat inside.

Bar atmosphere was cool, service was great. More of a craft beer bar than bottled domestics and I’m not a craft beer person. Nice selection of craft beers though.

Food was excellent. Burger was cooked perfectly to a medium temperature and fries were great. The Brisket French Dip was very good too. Not used to having Brisket used as the meat for a French Dip but was impressed. Had that Smokey flavor to it. Au Jus was flavorful and the Cucumber Salad was fantastic.

Would 100% come back again. Based on the quality of the food, anything on the menu would be good.

The last two years, the Athens Revival Fellowship and our Revival Fellowship visitors from other assemblies worldwide have come to camp in Clayton. Last year we stopped at Universal Joint on the first night and all had dinner together and it was so good that I was bummed when I thought I wasn't going to get to eat there this year. However, much to my delight, a large group of us decided to stop on the way home from camp. Guys, these fries are so good and the wings are amazing. We had the Buffalo wings which weren't saucy (a great selling point for me as I don't particularly like the messiness of wings). The flavor was bangin' (is that what kids say these days?). I had the fish tacos which were fresh and delicious. The servers handled our large group so well and I can't wait to be back next year!

Such a charming little restaurant. The service is great and the food is always wonderful. It is right in town which is convenient and parking is usually easy to find, within easy walking distance. We have also done take out which was quick and easy as well. It is sometimes hard to get through on the phone to order, but I think that speaks to how busy and popular they are so it is worth the effort. Definitely check it out if you are either a local or just visiting!

It's really a nice place for lunch in Clayton. It is pet friendly outside also with in door dining. Sat at the bar, and Liz was a great server and bar tender. Burger was great as well as fish tacos. They over-cooked tator tots to where it tasted like fried grease but gave me French fries quickly. 5 🌟 $$

Fun place with great service! Our first time here while visiting the town. We got there at 6 pm on Friday and they already ran out of briskets, so I had fish tacos instead. My local friend loved his Swiss mushroom cheese burger. We had a great time.

Buffalo Wings were phenomenal, not over cooked or over seasoned. Fries were also spot on, crunchy but soft. Outside area was clean, service was great and timely. Sweet tea was diabetic tea but not weak either. We were dippin out at the live band set up but I’m sure it was great.

Great eats, great view, wonderful staff. Can't go wrong with anything you order here. Burgers are great. Brisket dip is incredible. Tots are crispy and fresh. We eat here often and never get tired of it

Wow, everything was delicious, we all enjoyed our food.

This place has a really cool vibe. Food was good! We sadly didn’t have any live music the night we went but I’m sure it’s cool when they do. Very laid back. We got the loaded fries & Swiss mushroom burger- all was delicious!

We dined for lunch & had the Ol 1-2 burger and an Impossible burger. My better half said that his burger was probably the best burger he’s ever had in his life. My impossible burger was perfection as well. It’s nice to have a vegetarian option that doesn’t involve eating from the side item menu. Would definitely return.

My burger was so good. So good that I forgot to snap a pic. I ordered the Steinbeck and was oh so happy that I did. The rest of the table ordred the brisket dip, brisket nachos, and a hummus plate. Everything looked great and tasted great, too. Service was good considering how busy they were. Also, not to date myself, but this was the largest gathering of young people I've seen in one place since moving to the area. It's a cool spot, and I will happily return!

Cool atmosphere in an old service station. Food was pretty good. Pretty busy for a Wednesday afternoon. Firecracker chicken sandwich was very good. My wife had an arugula salad with chicken and loved it. Server was a little slow and seemed to skip over us a bit. I didn’t hold that against the place because they were busy.

Great spot for a patio beer & food. My group was a little high maintenance, but the server was really patient. (Not sure what they were saying back in the kitchen though 🤣) Tater tots with the cheese & bacon were good as were the burgers and quesedillas. Will be back.

Universal joint is a good outdoor lunch spot. We visited this place on Sunday and there was 30 minute wait for table.

Food is so good at this place. Egg rolls with mango chutney are a must try! Their salads and sandwiches are also so good. I recommend this place for a good country side food. They also have good variety of drinks including fruit juice. Teressa took good care of us.

Cool place with a great outdoor area as well as some seating inside around the bar. Food is always good and local beer selection is excellent.

I tried their Blackened Fish Tacos with jalapeño aioli sauce. I think these may be The Best Fish tacos I have ever had. Kudos to the chef!
My friend and I sat outside for lunch. Music a bit load but service and all was great. Nice folks!

Stopped in here since we had an overnight in Clayton. The food was awesome as well as the service. We had to leave our Old English Sheepdog “Lady Ellie” in the car since they didn’t allow animals. We asked if we could bring her in as the weather was bad and she gets scared of storms. The manager said it would be ok as long as she was on a harness. We didn’t think she would need her service dog harness as I am hearing impaired and left it at home but I always carry a regular harness as backup. Thank you so much for being accommodating and I wish I had taken a pic of here laying down on the floor by us watching all the people and being such a good girl!

Waited for awhile for a table, no problem. Finally seated, order taken. Food was cold when arrived. No silverware. Attitude when asked for silverware. Tired of paying $50 for 2 burgers and poor service. Why are we putting up with this?
