Blue's Jamaican Resturant

Normally when I come here, I get my beef patty and coco bread and go on my way. This time I decided to try the jerk chicken and it was soooo good! If you want the spicy jerk, then this ain't it. This jerk is more sweet and I like it. My chicken was juicy and flavorful. My plaintain were delicious. They gave me a lot of peas & rice, more than I needed. The veggies were good and I could've used more of that. I'll be back to try the other dishes.

Oh my goodness I came here for lunch and I was expecting a lunch portion. Let me tell you the food was amazing and I’m just surprised that this Jamaican restaurant is here in the middle of Buford. This is the type of place you would find on the east side of Atlanta. I had the curry chicken and the rice and peas and my only complaint was the portion size you can literally eat half of this for lunch and the other half for dinner right now I’m sitting here wondering how I’m gonna make it through the rest of the day 😂😂😂without passing out…. five star and they have a customer for dinner for sure. Chicken was tender and full of flavor. No brainer for real food. Best restaurant in the buford area. Period. Its a casual scenery so better suited for carryout though. I had a bottle of coconut water to wash it down, and the only difference between this and real coconut water is the fact that this was in a bottle and it was colder. Definitely not the stuff that you used to buy in the stores that they call coconut water.

Amazing fresh food but even better service! AJ was very knowledgeable, patient and friendly. The ox tail and jerk chicken was top notch and they have the best Pattie’s period! This will definitely be a regular go to spot!

We have eaten here a couple of times. The food is consistently excellent and the service is amazing. So far we have had jerk chicken, curry chicken and the red snapper. All of these have been great.

Came for the paddies. Both where exceptional in coco bread...if you know...u know...the lunch special chicken curry packed all the flavors and it was a great portion. The music set the tone and a great vibe for lunch!!! Great job guys.

Food was amazing, I got food for my grandmother and mom they both loved it. Jay was great I called it asking about the menu and he had my food ready as soon as I arrived. Will be going back!

Awesome choice. We ordered two plates 1. Oxtail with rice/peas and plantains. 2. Stew Chicken with rice/peas & plantains. On the side we had the coco bread and beef patty. (All Pictured) everything was delicious. I can't even begin to recommend which both very good. Each plate was served with a helping of cabbage also. Look forward to our next trip .

New to GA and was so happy with the quality of food. Curry shrimp was made to order. Not a long wait. And the rice and peas was delicious.

I found this restaurant in my Google search. I was a little bit worried bc these restaurants come and go and aren't very good. I had oxtails! They were VERY delicious! I love plantains. And the cabbage was so good. Had gravy every where! The gentleman who was very nice made sure we got bread and a meat pie! So yummy!

My husband got an oxtail plate! He loves the food, the quality of the food, the hospitality, and the cleanliness. He said it's truly amazing. We will be back ❤

Wow, today was my first visit to this restaurant for a takeout order and the food was amazing. I had the oxtail and a side of jerk chicken, the portion size was large and everything was absolutely delicious. I can't believe I have not eaten here sooner. This will definitely be one of my local places to eat from now on.

The food is amazing with great spice and tons of flavor! I tried the oxtail and the stew chicken; it was incredibly fresh and the gravy mixed in with the rice makes it all so much better! Also, everyone was super welcoming. I felt like part of the family! I will definitely be back !

Let me start by saying this place is AMAZING! 100 rating, very clean and the food is extremely fresh. I'm from Miami and I'm use to a certain level of Caribbean food and they exceeded all my expectations. We went there this Saturday for the first time and I was blown away by the taste and freshness of their food. The staff is very professional and friendly. I can't say enough good things about this place. We actually went there today (Sunday) and they were closed, lol! We will definitely be eating there again...

This is the best carribean food, ive ever had, the beef patties, the oxtails, the jerk chicken and the jerk pork were the bsst ive ever had!!!! Aj was amazing, best food and customer service ive ever received, if you like carribean food you need to come here!!!!

Oh my goodness... This Jamaican place in Buford is AMAZING. The food comes in a container and you get a plastic fork, but that doesn't matter when you are having some of the tastiest food!! The curry chicken was fall off the bone tender , and had an amazing flavor with just the right amount of spicy. The veggies that come with it were also tasty. A friendly portion of rice is part of the deal here , which is great because all the juices from the chicken are all over the rice, so you'll be finishing up every grain of rice. It also comes with plantains , but next time I'll order an extra side because I LOVE plantains but it only came with two little slices 😭 I also ordered this veggie pocket thing that looks like an empanada, and although it isn't very photogenic, the flavor was nothing short of delicious. When I go again (probably this weekend 😂 ) I'll order the jerk chicken and see how good that one is!!

If you're looking for Jamaican food... Scratch that. If you're looking for GOOD CHICKEN, stop by Blue's in Buford, sit down and relax while you enjoy their great flavors!! Better yet... Tell me when you go so I have another excuse to eat their food! 😅 @bluesjamaicanrestaurant_ga

Don’t understand the bad reviews. These are the sweetest, most honest people in the world and their food SLAPS. Try the patties. All of them. Especially the jerk chicken!

Finally, I found my go-to Jamaican spot! So happy!!! The Ackee and salt fish is bomb, and their sorrel is so good! Thank you!!!!!

I'm Jamaican so there's no doubt that I love this kind of food. But, you don't get flavors so authentic to our culture at every Jamaican restaurant. I have to say it's the best I've had so far. looking forward to more delicious meals with you‼ Period
