What a fantastic exhibit! I never imagined one could fit so many planes in such a relatively small space; however, it’s incredibly well done. My ten year old nephew was with us and he enjoyed sitting in a cockpit so much that he insisted on returning to it before we left. He also appreciated sitting in the helicopter and wiggling the controls. This museum is unbelievably child friendly and accessible . Seeing the famous SR 71 Blackbird was unforgettable! The volunteers were friendly and knowledgeable, the exhibits were clearly explained, and the artifacts numerous and fascinating. The skeletal plane with the paratroopers inside was creepy (in an Intriguing way). This was a day well spent, and I hope to get back there one day.

This museum is free admission and well worth the drive. The WWII exhibit is excellent. They have a wonderful collection of planes and military related exhibits.

Had a very pleasant afternoon with my grandson who enjoyed it immensely. It's free but they have donation points. The simulated 3d rides at the entrance are as good as any Disney 3d ride (at $10 per person)' and you don't have to wait in the sun for 3 hours for the ride. The variety of planes is staggering, including 3 exterior halls, and plane exhibitions in back of the main pavilion. Highly recommended!

Free to visit. This is the second largest Air Force museum in the country behind the national Air Force museum in Dayton, Ohio. This place is pretty cool. They had some rare airplanes. Different buildings that you can explore different themes in each building all Air Force related. This place you can spend a good half day or a day in and still probably not see everything. Make sure to visit the outside exhibits. Those are pretty cool. You can walk up touch experience. Check out Google satellite photos for what birds are out there.

Took the family. We all had a blast! Being able to show the boys planes/helicopters from WW1, WW2, Korea, Vietnam, Cold War Era, and Gulf War Era was truly an experience I will always remember.

This is truly a great museum! I was surprised by how many aircraft were inside and outside. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. This is a free museum but I learned that they are self funded, so it is well worth a donation to keep this gem up and running.

Very happy we finally stopped on the way south to see these exhibits. Amazing collection of aviation history set in informative displays. And the docents are friendly and knowledgeable. And it’s free, but please leave a nice donation!

Hadn't been since my childhood (I'll redact my age 🤣) but suffice it to say, it was how I remembered it. My son absolutely loved it. Yes, it is showing it's age, but the history in this place is humbling.

Quick visit as I didn't know it closed early. Got to check out the outside with a quick stop in one building. Seems like I could spend a few hours exploring and taking pictures.

This is a must-visit for anyone in the state of Georgia, any aviation enthusiast, or anyone visiting the area. There is less to see outdoors now as compared to 10 years ago when I first went here but the indoor parts are still something you can spend an entire day looking at. Take your time here because there are large portions of the museum you can simply miss if you aren't careful. It is much larger than you might think. Wear your walking shoes.

Our Troop visited for the Aviation merit badge and had a great time. The museum is well organized and their flight simulators gave our Scouts a wonderful experience.

Lots of cool things for kids to interact with. Very clean and quiet museum. I like that they have so many models and facts to read everywhere. The staff was nice. It was a week day and parking was not that bad. Go visit!

Very interesting place, we definitely needed more time to see all the planes and exhibits. The staff there have some great stories and are always looking to help or explain. And the cost can't be beat!

Every aircraft you could ever hope to see and some you didnt evem know existed. Awesome interactive exhibits and they even offer classes. Caught a glimpse of the sleath fighter they are refurbishing. So much to see, have to go back to finish. Plan to stay for 2 to 3 hours if you want to see it all!
