North Sherwood Forest Community Park

Amazing park my kids had the time of their life. The park is clean. The park is big and spacious the park offers lots of options for tots and kiddos. My kids really enjoyed the splash pad that’s open now and the tiny toddler park plenty of swings nice view huge pond, cute ducks great for walks and family time

Great place for the kids! We ran across this park while visiting. It wasn’t far from where my grand daughter lives and we had to take her. She had so much fun in the water park as well as on the play areas. Everyone was respectful to each other and the kids had fun with each other. We will definitely take her back to the park when we come visit.

Beautiful place to hangout with the family. Next time I go I will post a picture of the park itself. I take my son pretty regularly to feed the duck and we both enjoy it so much! Definitely recommend this park to all families.

Park is very pretty and clean. It also had a water splash pad area for the kids to enjoy. Age range is good kids 1-13. Also have seating areas for adults to enjoy and relax for some hours.

Great remodeling. Inside park and track still there. Could use remodeling because I played on the same equipment 25 yrs ago but the equipment and play ground indoor is still fantastic and my kids 9 and 7 love going there!

I use to go when I was a kid. Now I have my own kid. Seeing him enjoy it as much as I did means so much. The upgrades are great. I would have never imagined!

A nice place to bring the children.

It's a great place to fish, and take your kids to get out of the house for a while. The staff there is super nice and come talk to you all the time. They have ducks and geese that you can feed. It is a really great atmosphere and we go all the time.

Wow! Wish more places had parks and centers like this one! Clean, nice park,splash pad, and indoor play area/track!

Great park! Pretty outdoor space. Clean facilities and bathrooms. Nice indoor track and kids’ play area. Took my children to play one rainy day, and stumbled upon the Virtual Park. I decided to host a party for my 6 yr old there. So glad I did. There was something for everyone; toddler to adult. It was one of the best parties I’ve ever thrown, and the fees are very reasonable. It was more affordable than other party spots. The Virtual Park will be at the top of my list of places to have a kid’s party from now on.

Great place to walk and relax. Splash pad and playground were in excellent condition, and thoroughly enjoyed by my son. The pond doesn't appear to have many fish, which isn't surprising, seeing as BREC doesn't properly stock or maintain their ponds. It doesn't have much pond scum yet, but I haven't seen anyone catch a fish.

I visited the North Sherwood Forest Recreational Center to attend a birthday brunch in one of the party rooms. It was my first time in this center and I must say I was very impressed! The center is very, very clean. There is something to accommodate people of all ages.

This park is nothing like it was in my high school days when the main attraction was the basketball courts . I love that they kept them and have built a beautiful fishing pond and walk way ... the play area is clean with plenty of seating for parents to watch and tables that are perfect for a picnic ... there is also an area for adult fitness ... I will be visiting again soon !

Great park! There's lots of outside room, three pavilions, a spray pad. The rec center is huge with an indoor track & an indoor playground. There are also several rooms that can be rented for events like birthday parties. Overall, highly recommend!

Very nice park. My 3 kids ages 4 to 11 enjoyed their time spent here. Really loved how there is equipment for all three to play on. Looking to move into the area so I see us going back here often.

Nice air-conditioned indoor area! They have a free indoor track and free indoor playground.

The park is amazing especially after the renovations. It's so serene. You can fish from the pier and enjoy a nice workout on the walking trail. The kids will enjoy the new and improved park!

Had a great time. The park is beautiful and family friendly. It has really cool outdoor exercise equipment as well as a full indoor gym and a walk and run path around the lake.

Very clean and quiet! Great place to fish or play or just to get some quiet time. Could use more seating near fishing areas for the visitors that cannot stand for long periods.
