Walmart Neighborhood Market

I was picking up a few prescriptions from the pharmacy and while I was waiting I decided to check my blood pressure because I had just left the Dr. and it was sky high. Well, it was still sky high and when I walked passed an employee there, she spoke and asked how I was and she overheard me tell my wife how high my BP still was. She came and asked if I felt OK and she said she was going to get me some water! She brought me 2 bottled waters and was super sweet! She took the time to give me some home remedy advice and everything. Her name is Michelle, and she is the Operations Manager, and her customer service and sincere concern about me blew me away. The world is a better place because of people like her, and I wanted to give her kudos for being so genuinely kind.

The pharmacy here is spectacular! Mathew, Monette, and the other gentleman provide great customer service. They are all polite and go above and beyond for me. I couldn't be happier. Well, I could've remembered the other man's name but other than that I couldn't be happier. They are wonderful!

I am 72 yrs. old. After several surgeries and slow recoveries, I look for stores that are not too big. This Walmart Neighborhood is just right for me. Their produce section is adequate. They even have an organic section. There is a bakery and a pharmacy with a drive-thru. Out front is a gas station. I think it's perfect for those of us who don't want to fight the traffic at the larger stores.

I have never been in a friendlier Walmart. We are traveling and stopped in for supplies. A manager promptly went in the back to find something that wasn't on the shelf and found me in the store to give it to me. The checker was a very nice man who I enjoyed talking with. All greeted me with a very welcoming hello. Thank you.

Great little store, it has pretty much everything we need. Trips here are a quick in and out, although the after work rush can be a little busy. The store associates here are nice and helpful. It is kept clean and well staffed. The pharmacy staff is here is excellent and personable.

Denham Springs, LA - Very clean inside and out….very nice Walmart Neighborhood Market. Customer service was efficient and thorough. Check out lanes flowed quickly - both the regular and self check out. The pharmacy there is excellent and always willing to help and go the extra mile (over the telephone and in person). Customer service area to cash checks closes pretty early, mak sure to call before you go if it’s later in the evening to make sure they are still open in that particular area. All in all, I highly recommend and will continue to do business at this Walmart.

Great employees and generally good parking. If you need food, pop in and pop out. Carter's across the street is great if you want to support local. Pickup is usually on time or early.

Love this market!!! So convenient to run in and get the items I needed for that day!! Convenient because it's so much smaller than the big Walmart, with all the grocery items, paper products, cleaning items and so much more without the hassle of walking all over the big store! Produce is exceptional and so easy to find right at the front door! Grab whatever you need and head to checkout that is so much faster and friendlier!!

Out of being time pressed, I’ve popped in here rather than my usual south range location over past year and a half. I have to say that I absolutely LOVE this store! I shop every 3-4 weeks purchasing large quantities of items. I’m now making this my “go to” store. Lots of my products aren’t in stock on Range but always plenty at the neighborhood market. To be sure I wasn’t just lucky, I’ve been trying it out for many months.
Also, It’s refreshing to shop in a store that isn’t the size of a warehouse! Lol. It’s great that my favorite cosmetics are here as well as pet necessities!
My next experiment will be with the pharmacy... I’ve used CVS on range since 1994 and I’ve finally had it with my electronic rx refills not being found when I should have one left...? The poor employees are clearly highly stressed when they have to put you on hold after you’ve already held on for way too long! I had to resort to Keeping my own log of rx refills and had my doctor call them out on one occasion where I was told not only did they not have my rx in stock, but somehow they couldn’t see where I had any more refills left on a schedule 3 drug...! I sent my proof to my dr in the my chart app and the nurse couldn’t believe how they suddenly found my refill AND had it in stock! So, I’m giving my neighborhood pharmacy a try. I’ll get back to you on that one after I give them a fair shot. 🤞🏻

Went to pick up and order, 3 cars ahead of me. Had to wait a little while, there were only 2 people bringing groceries out together, but all in all it wasn't too bad. I will go back.

I am a lady over 65. I found myself out late at night and was coming home when I remembered I needed cat food I stopped at the neighborhood Walmart by my house and felt very at ease walking in and out to my car and had a very pleasant conversation with the cashiers about our pets
I was dreading having to stop but it turned out to be a very pleasant experience

I love the Walmart Neighborhood markets. It's so convenient to go there instead of the Supercenter Walmart when you're in a hurry. It's always so clean and orderly. The employees are very helpful and friendly. You can go in and get what you need in a snap. We need more of these stores in other areas!

I had a 24 pack of cokes bust open on me right outside of the door. The young girl that had checked me out was already checking someone else out and she stopped what she was doing to come help me to only pick up the cokes but got me another box to replace. You don't see service like that very often.

I love my neighborhood Walmart, friendly helpful staff! Good prices! And Online Shopping is Amazing! My favorite cashier is Mr. Mike ❤He makes my day, every time I see him😊

This is my place to make Grocery if you only I only need food. Great service,good produce. Fast and friendly service. Highly recommend 😷😷🙏 .

It's better than any Baton Rouge Wal-Mart's the employees are friendly & courteous here unlike Baton Rouge, College & Cortana have the most ghetto employees, filthy store & restrooms. I drive from work near College Dr Wal-Mart to spend my money in this store, not to feel as though I'm in Gary Indiana!!!!

The employees are always polite and helpful. Store is clean and stocked. Anytime I have gone to this location I find exactly what I am looking for!!!
