What an amazing experience!

I dropped in while visiting my family on vacation. My home box is in Auburn, Ca and I knew I didn’t want to take 2 weeks off of workouts.

I’m so thoroughly impressed by this gym. To start, the coaching staff was above and beyond communicative about the process to drop in. I was given the direct links to sign up, pay for, and sign the waivers which made the process to join the class so easy!

Upon arrival there was tons of parking and a beautiful gym space. Lots of new and clean equipment. The box is even AC’d (pinkies up).

My fellow crossfitters were unbelievably friendly. So many introduced themselves (I feel bad I don’t remember all of your names!), but Ashley was so sweet and supportive.

There was a dynamic and thorough warmup including cardio, stretching, and dynamic movement. Amber did an AMAZING job of going through every movement and even giving some pro-tips. While in the WOD she came around and gave people encouragement and corrections (including myself!). There was some cheering for fellow members too.

At the end of the workout there was definitely some chatting among members and it helped me to feel very comfortable. I felt like I was at my home box for sure. I would HIGHLY recommend GEAUX CrossFit for membership or even a drop in.

I can’t wait to see these guys on Friday and every time I’m in the area in the future.

This gym is amazing! The coaching is first-class. They do a thorough job of explaining each workout, going over proper techniques, and customizing each movement to the person’s skill set and stage of fitness. The community is so inviting as well - everyone feels welcome regardless of how long you’ve been a part of the gym. The facility is huge and well-kept, and the programming is innovative and challenging. I highly recommend this gym if you are new to CrossFit or a seasoned athlete!

I’ve been a member of Geaux CrossFit since 2010. I’ve improved my life here in more ways than one. The health and fitness improvements are plenty, but I’ve found that the value goes well beyond health and fitness. There is a networking community like no other, full of people with drive and ambition. Not to mention I also met my wife here :). This is the best gym in Baton Rouge, with the best coaches, and you will not regret giving them a chance.

I have been with this gym for several years and I have so many wonderful things to say about Geaux CrossFit. First of all, anyone can do it! Don’t let the name intimidate you, all are welcome here and every workout can be scaled down. At this gym you will see a diverse group of ages, backgrounds, and skill levels. The gym itself is large, with high ceilings and is always kept clean. Not to mention, each class is lead by the MOST AMAZING coaches!! The coaches here are very knowledgeable, approachable, and motivating. The coaches will help you learn how to do various movements safely and effectively. To further prove my point, even after I got a knee injury, the coaches helped me continue to workout everyday and get stronger! All you have to do is show up and you will get an amazing workout and get stronger. Furthermore, the community here is really like a family. The fellow gym members are friendly and will cheer you on. All this combined makes for an amazing gym experience that will motivate you to keep showing up, be more healthy, and learn to be your best self. Geaux CrossFit is an excellent addition to any fitness journey, give it a “geaux.”

12 years of doing CrossFit across the US and I’ve never gone to a friendlier gym! I’ve been a member with several CF gyms over the years as I’ve moved to different states or across town. This gym will meet you where you are with your fitness level/journey and challenge accordingly every time you show up. Everyone is kind and it certainly has a family feel to the environment they’ve created!

I’ve been as member of Geaux CrossFit for almost a decade. I would definitely recommend this gym to anyone who want to start their fitness journey. The coaches are extremely knowledgeable and are able to cater to each member’s individual needs. You’ll feel a sense of belonging if you choose to become a member of the community because the members are friendly and welcoming.

Such a great gym when looking for a place to put in some hard work, but also grow a family of fellow CrossFitters in the process. The coaches are second to none and will only push you to be better and stronger. I’ve been at Geaux for nearly 2 years and loving every day!

I've been a member of several crossfit gyms over the last 10+ years. This is the friendliest group of people you could ask for. Coaches are knowledgeable and welcoming. The gym is well stocked and very clean. No better place around!

Coaches are very good and organized. You show up, do the workout, go home! Geaux CrossFit is a great facility with everything you need to succeed. If you are consistent in showing up to a class you will see results! It’s like having a personal trainer every time you walk through their doors.

This is the best gym of any type I've ever been to. My awesome PT Kristen recommended them and she couldn't have chosen a better place! Amber is fabulous and her team is unmatched! They are amazingly good at helping with strength and cardio. Classes are fun and the environment is wonderfully supportive and friendly! Wouldn't go anywhere else!

I had a great time dropping in at Geaux CrossFit! I was greeted immediately and the vibe was very friendly. I’ve only been doing CrossFit for about a year and the staff was knowledgeable and helped me scale the workout for the weight I could do. The gym is super clean and all the equipment was updated and clearly well kept. I would absolutely recommend coming here!
