Candlewood Suites Denham Springs, an IHG Hotel

The staff at this place is incredible. They are just fantastic people. The room is very nice. Has everything I need for a long stay here. Not sure if someone just staying overnight. Would want one of these but the kitchenette in it is very nice for someone like me that's going to be here for 6 weeks. Value on it is incredibly good. Can't say anything bad about this property.

I initially checked into a neighboring hotel but decided it wasn't the place for me. There was availability here so I decided to stay and I'm SO glad I did! It had a full size refrigerator, a 2 burner stove top and dishes. It smelled nice and neutral when I opened the door. There were a couple of areas that might have been cleaned a little better but overall I was pleased with it. The staff were pleasant and helpful when needed. There have a gym and computer area - I didn't use either but it's nice to know they're available. Although the hotel was at capacity the night before I left you couldn't tell because it was so quiet! Two of the three sides are surrounded by green space and is very quiet. They were doing exterior improvements while I was there and it's obvious there is pride of ownership here. Would revisit and recommend!

Wow! Super surprised on every detail of the hotel. This is not a 2 star hotel in my opinion this is a 5 star hotel with unique free amenities such a laundry, small gym, kitchens in rooms with everything u need to cook a meal, a refrigerator with and ice machine. Seriously blown away with the cleanliness of the room the Bed is super soft and fluffy really great night sleep. Shower has great hot water nice and clean and updated. Had a window in a room my cat enjoyed looking out the window. My cat hasn't stayed in many hotels but she was super comfortable didn't feel scared she even slept in the bed. Highly recommend this place. They have a 24/7 cheap snacks and drinks. They left complimentary popcorn in the microwave, which was a cool touch. Parking out front, safe place. Noticed alot of family's.

Our toilet was messed up an wouldn't properly flush, the staff sent maintenance to fix it, it took him minutes and we were in tip top shape. Full amenities; cook top, cutlery, pots and pans, plates, full size fridge and dish washer. Great place. Don't pass it up. Convenient location, friendly staff

The rooms were clean and very nice for what we paid, they were also fully accommodated for long stays. The employees at the front desk were always helpful and nice. The hotel also has a gym and an area to do laundry, both of, you get unlimited access to with a room booking. There are appliances that can be barrowed if you check in with the front desk, should your room not have them. The surrounding area has plenty of places to eat & shop. Overall our stay was a great and would stay here again in the future should we be back in the area.

Right off of I12, property is well-kept. The rooms are clean and well stocked with essentials for cooking and the like. The ladies at the front desk were very helpful and fun. There is also a couple of propane grills available on a nice little porch which really made the night enjoyable. 😊

Room is amazing. Stove, refrigerator, microwave and dishwasher. Siri think the laundry room downstairs the guests can you use at no charge. There is a very small convenience store type place in the lobby. Clean with comfortable beds. Very quiet.

This was a very safe, nice place to stay for the night. The staff was very friendly, polite, and helpful. The room was a nice size with a small kitchen you could use. The rooms were very clean and well maintained. I highly recommend the Cottonwood Suites as a great place to stay.

Wonderful stay! We stayed 2 separate times both times our accommodations were met. Both the rooms we stayed in were recently updated and looked beautiful! Free laundry mat which is always a plus for us. The staff was super friendly and the spoiled our little girl. She was referred to as "the candlewood baby". Plenty of places to eat in the area. All in all a great hotel and the best place to stay in the area for your money.

We stayed here for 3 nights while visiting Baton Rouge for a family wedding. Very good rooms, have built in kitchens, and very spacious.

Felt very comfortable and homey. Rates were very reasonable for the size and amenities available in the rooms.

It was me, my wife, daughter and our granddaughter all in the same room and it worked out pretty well. I would highly recommend if you are visiting the Baton Rouge area.

Very nice hotel. Staff was great....room was ready when we arrived and when it showed us booked for two nights instead of the one I had booked us for the girl at the desk took care of me. We will be staying here again in the future. Hotel is also close to the interstate and within 6 miles of shopping.

We enjoyed our stay! They are dog friendly and that was great since we brought our dog. You can do laundry for free! Loved that!! Clean rooms, staff was great!

Rooms were nice and service was top notch. We had trouble finding a place late at night and stumbled upon Candlewood. Brett was super helpful and accommodating. Thank you Brett!

We booked this hotel third party and upon arrival were put in a queen room when we needed a king. Ryetta and Kawanda were able to get us accomadated. Both ladies were extremely courteous and greeted me with a smile. Upon getting to the room; I was very impressed with the condition of the room. The absolute best Candalwood Suites we have stayed at. Special thanks to Kawanda and Ryetta for being so awesome. Will definitely choose this hotel next time we travel through here.

Liked this hotel. It's under construction still. The free laundry is up and running! Nice home away from home. Propane bbq out side, small kitchen inside every room, Comfy beds, really fast internet!

Our room is really nice. Everything worked great, including the tv, shower, refrigerator, and central air. It is within close proximity of anything you could need such as restaurants and stores like Walmart.

Stephanie was super helpful, was able to get us checked in last minute when another IHG hotel was under construction and seem to have concept pics in their website instead real photos.. Also, reviews on IHG App are not realistic. From now on I well look at Google Map reviews first. Seems more accurate.

Great rooms for the price! You get a mini kitchen and a very open room for cheaper than other hotels who offer you less. Very comfy beds too.

Awesome staff. Free laundry. Great rates. I have stayed here for over 6 months on and off over the past 4 years and I highly recommend it!

This is quite possibly the most comfortable bed I have ever slept on! The room was clean and spacious. Would definitely stay here again.
