Gomer's Northland Fine Wines

We utilized Gomer's delivery for our wedding and it was the best and easiest experience ever! Pat the store manager made a point to give us a call and discuss our needs and give us an estimate of how much we should order and was able to make any changes we needed as the day approached. They delivered everything chilled and ready to go and on time on the wedding day. And the best part is that they picked up and refunded any alcohol that went undrank! It was wonderful to get so much money back and Gomers made it so easy and had a wonderful selection. If you are planning a wedding and bringing your own alcohol, I HIGHLY recommend.

Excellent selection of ALL liquors. Champion top-shelf selections available in store at a reasonable price (one of my favourites is pictured). Staff is knowledgeable and friendly. The store has an easy-flow to its layout and kept clean.

Gomer's Northland Fine Wines has an amazing selection of wines. We were able to find exactly what we were looking for.

Great selection of liquor, especially vodka. We were able to find some locally bottled vodka and were very pleased. The staff working were also friendly and personable. The location was perfect and easy to find.

Gomers has a great selection of booze. The staff is super nice and helpful. If you are in parkville and need alcohol, definitely stop in!

Last December we went to Gomer’s and saw a Maker’s Mark (Beam Suntory) representative ring in the holidays by dipping bottles and glasses in hot, green wax. It was cool to watch and we got to pick out a glass and a bottle after they’d cooled. Gomer’s is known for being the oldest and best of Kansas City’s liquor stores. We recommend checking out Gomer’s to take advantage of the knowledgeable staff and cool events!

Went to find a bottle of Old Fashioned Oatmeal Cookie, which is an apple brandy. Did not expect to find it. It's made in Warrensburg, MO. They had 3 bottles, took all 3! That tastes so delicious without the alcohol burn or aftertaste! Good Stuff Maynard. Guess I'll be doing more shopping at Gomers!!

Went in for a birthday gift, of a special kind of bourbon. Showed a picture of what I was looking for to the attendant that I had found on a list of decent bourbons around $50. He took me to the isle to check and I ask if that was the right one, he kind of chuckled and said , no but if you find that one buy it! It’s rare. I asked for a recommendation and he offered a great bourbon that worked out perfectly and in my price range! They are always very helpful and polite.

Gomer's is Exceptional, always very helpful and knowledge staff! Last time I was there I couldn't find a wine we love, so they took down my information. That afternoon they called me to have it ordered in for next day pickup!

I love this place! Friendly, helpful staff who aren't pushy, convenient location, fantastic selection, good prices. No designated motorcycle parking, but other than that the parking is adequate and you don't have to walk half a mile to get to the store. The men's room is clean and well stocked. I haven't seen the women's restroom to report on it. Get signed up for their wine tastings because those are a real treat. They also do a lot of stuff on Fridays and Saturdays such as beer tastings.

I mean, who wouldn’t want to browse a great selection of beer, wine, spirits, and cigars…inside a store shaped like a huge wine barrel? Grab a bottle of Dom or a jug of Carlo Rossi…Gomers can do both.

Excellent selection of beer and spirits, and a decent wine selection. Well organized except, the non-alcoholic items are mixed in with the alcoholic items by spirit type. People that drink non-alcoholic beverages, would prefer to have them in one place so that they can make a selection. It's challenging to pick them out from several hundred alcoholic versions. Reading all the labels in order to find new non-alcoholic things to try is very time-consuming. Recommend you give them their own section. Lump them all together.

I highly recommend Gomer’s. They helped me determine how much and what kind of beer and wine to get. I knew I wanted Daou red wine and Shiner Bock but not sure on a white wine and another beer. They recommended Woodbridge Savigon Blanc and Michelob Ultra. Everyone loved the choices. Gomer’s allows you to purchase enough so you don’t run out and return all re-sellable bottles and packs. They will also deliver to your venue which is a life saver. Pat and Collin helped me to make this special day easy and successful. Gomer’s chills the beer and white wine prior to delivery so it’s ready to go. They do a great job from determine what and how much you need, the quote, finalizing the order, delivering it to your venue and refunding unused bottles and packs. All stress free. Thanks Pat and Collin for all the help and delivering on our order, you helped to make this day GREAT.

My "go to" spot. A variety of choices, best prices, friendly staff. Although the parking lot is small, don't worry because people are in and out in a flash!
