One of my favorite Italian restaurants in Kansas City, home of the best Chicken Parmesan. It’s so hard to order anything but that even though they have many great dishes and I love their sauces. My daughter always gets the gnocchi in vodka sauce which it is the best gnocchi I’ve ever eaten too. The service isn’t always the greatest but it’s not the worst either. I love the atmosphere because it’s old school Italian and brings back memories of younger days. I love this place and the flavors and food are consistent and timeless. We went on Valentines for my most recent visit and they had it decorated very nice.

Cascone's has been one of my KC favorites for years and they never have disappointed. It got the Veal Parmesan and my wife got the Fruite De Mare special which included a half a lobster tail. I tasted the sauce with a piece of their amazing Italian bread and it was one of the best I've had. My veal was probably one of the largest I have ever gotten, was cooked perfectly tender and served over a generous portion of spaghetti. Soooo good!

My grandmother and I came in early in the evening. We were guided to a table almost immediately despite not having a reservation and the seat was nice because we got a good view of everything happening around us. Our server went above and beyond: constantly checking in if we needed anything and asking how the food tasted as well as boxing up our food for us. The food was extraordinarily delicious, definitely not store bought sauce! I kept thinking how I’d love to bring more of my family in the future. Thank you for a great meal and excellent service!

If you’ve been around Kansas City (specifically the Northland) for any length of time Cascone’s is a name you’ll hear fairly frequently and is generally spoken with a culinary reverence of sorts.

Having lived here my whole life and only had it through various catered events or through their excellent sauce that can be purchased at the grocery store, my wife and I finally took the opportunity to experience the real deal.

We specifically took advantage of their restaurant week menu and were thoroughly impressed.

Starting with an old fashioned and a glass of rosé to drink we enjoyed a spread of various olives and cheeses, fresh bread, and a delicious dipping oil. Everything was well presented and portioned. A very good start that we were too hungry to bother taking pictures of.

Our choice of a Caesar or Italian salad with house dressing followed that. We got one of each. The house dressing was far better than your standard Italian dressing most places trot out and the Caesar salad was tossed in the perfect amount of dressing.

I had the seafood risotto and my wife enjoyed the Bistecca Spedini Sara Ann. The risotto was billed as the best you’ll ever eat, and it did not disappoint. Creamy and loaded with shrimp and lobster (and a hearty dash of Parmesan at my request). I’ll be daydreaming about it until our next chance to go back. The Spedini was excellent as well. Excellently cooked steak laced with cheese and other seasonings and paired with a garnish of pepperoncini slices. I tried a few bites and enjoyed it, but was happy with my choice.

The final course was our choice of dessert. My wife chose the cannoli and I went with the cheesecake. I’ll let the pictures speak for themselves. The perfect end to an excellent evening.

The atmosphere and the service were excellent. That’s something worth noting as seemingly all restaurants struggle with staffing. My wife noted that the spacing between the various courses was perfect; Never overwhelmed by food but never left wondering where the next course was. We were checked on often, our drinks never ran dry, and our leftover food was boxed up for us ready for the trip home. Thank you all for the wonderful evening! We can’t wait to come back.

This was our first time visiting Cascone's and we weren't at all disappointed. The food was deliciously amazing and the service was stellar!! We had an AMAZING meal on Valentine's Day night and were seated, fed and gone in an hour!!! When I think of good Italian food they definitely meet the standard. I have found my new spot, and Mr. Jimmy is the kindest man I've met in a long time. We will certainly be back soon. Highly recommended!!

This is hands down one of the best Italian restaurants I’ve ever been to. The bread and oil at the beginning was out of this world. The cheese sticks were perfect and the Italian flag dish was a great taste of what they have to offer.

Nothing hits the spot like some good Italian food. And Cascone's blows it out of the water. Small group or large group accommodations. A large menu with such a great explanation of how the red sauce is made with such love and care daily. Giving you a feeling of being part of the family when you're there.

First time there had to try everything we could. The stuffed mushroom caps were cooked so well we had to order a second round. And a must order is the meatballs, the taste was so decadent there is nothing I could have compared it to. And then The Italian Flag for the main course. The Lasanga top notch. The chicken Parmigiano was so tender and the breading was perfectly seasoned. And the fettuccine alfredo ties it all together to make a great dish for two, or one if you're feeling extra hungry.

And of course, the drinks and the desserts were the cherry on top. The tiramisu was amazing. Such flavor packed into this light little dessert.

Don't miss out on a visit here. Worth the 15 minute drive from the airport hotels or wherever your journey through the area may land you.

It's been a long time since I've been to the one up north, but just as good as Johnny Cascone's out south!
Had the linguine and clam sauce and the tortellini, both very good!

I had the lunch special. Chicken spiedini in alfredo sauce with spinach. Excellent bread. I also had a bowl of soup instead of salad and it was ham and beans. Delicious.
My friend had Italian sausage. Some of the others had the Italian steak sandwich.

Really nice surprise.... For starter we ordered the Italian Nachos and the stuffed mushrooms and they were both really good. But the one main dish that took the dinner was the Lasagna... DELICIOUS. Also... my Sangria was really good. Nice staff attention. Thanks to everyone

For anyone who believes you’ve had a good Italian food, my only question is, have you been to Cascone’s? Because if the answer is no, I truly don’t think you have. From the elegant atmosphere, the nice place settings and engaging friendly staff, they set expectations high as soon as you walk in the door. Carla took wonderful care of us and the meal was one of the best I have ever had. The stuffed mushrooms were so well cooked and tasty they melted in your mouth, the meatballs were deliciously seasoned and the lasagna just blew me away.

I was so impressed I had to thank the manager not once but twice. And I never do that. I just felt so grateful honestly. Grateful to experience something so very very good and treated so warmly. It was joy. And joy on a plate in a restaurant chain world does not exist. Joy does exist in a small business that must be experienced to be believed and fully supported.

The service was great, and our food was delicious. Everyone loved the Starter -Italian cheese & olives. Sicilian dipping oil and Italian bread. Pictured is the "Crazy" Alfredo (highly recommend) Bistecca Spedini Sara Ann, Chicken Limonata Elaina, and The Italian Flag. Deliciouso!!! We're already talking about when we're coming back.

I wasn't sure what to expect from this place, but was pleasantly surprised to find out that it's perfectly splendid. They've done a great job with the lighting to make it low but still bright enough to read the menu, the decor is appropriately "Italian restaurant" without feeling like it's trying too hard, and tables are spaced apart well so you don't feel crowded. The food is absolutely delightful, high quality and house made. The gnocchi is so soft, like little potato pillows, and all the sauces I tried (red, alfredo, and vodka) will haunt my dreams until I go back. There is also a decent wine list and a few cocktails. The beer list could use improvement, but this isn't really a beer kinda place. I truly cannot believe it took us so long to try this place and will be recommending it to everyone from now on. Don't waste your money and taste on Olive Garden when you have this gem within reach.

This was our first time at Cascone’s. The atmosphere was warm yet noisy with lots of traffic. Not a surprise that it was packed on a Saturday evening.

It took awhile to order and the wait staff was pretty relaxed. We had to flag down waiters to take our order, refill water, and get a second round of drinks. Not an upscale experience, which is fine if you know what to expect and most importantly, because the food is delicious!

The stuffed mushrooms were incredibly large and so flavorful. The Tortellini Savina Marie was good but the linguine and clams was amazing! Highly recommend sharing food with your party as there are too many delicious options. They were also very accommodating with special food requests (allergies).

Highly recommend!

Hands down my most favorite restaurant in all of KC. I've been here many times over the years and every experience has been great - the food perfect and the service exceptional. Cascone's really blows every other Italian restaurant out of the park!
My husband and I aren't adventurous eaters, admittedly. We typically go for the ricotta ravioli, sugo, and alfredo dishes and they never disappoint; they're all so fresh and delicious every time. We'll be visiting our favorite Cascone's for birthdays, anniversaries, holidays, etc., for as long as we can! 😊

I absolutely love their food & the overall atmosphere. This time, I did a call in order for carryout. The phone service was friendly. When I arrived, my order was ready. The worker did notice the Sangria leaked through the bag & she swiftly fixed it, without me saying anything, & sincerely apologized. Every worker that passed me greeted me & ensured I was being helped. Even other customers, while in there, are more friendly. I'm telling you, it's the environment of the place.
Coming from a person who used to live in Italy, this place is the closest I've found that puts me back there. Truly family oriented & just an inviting atmosphere. I have done dine-in in the past & that experience was just awesome. Sure it can be/get a little expensive, depending on your budget, but for me...every so often, it's well-well worth it. Especially if you are craving or wanting to experience authentic Italian cuisine 💖
But sign up for their email list, they have great deals, where you can try foods at exceptional prices.

The wife and I were on our way back home from a week out of town and we stopped at this inviting place. We were seated immediately in a booth in a nicely lit room. Our waiter, Carlos, was happy and courteous. I ordered the 14oz pork chop which couldn’t have been less than 20oz! Our portions were more than expected but it was great for leftovers. The prices are amazing for what you get. Highly affordable! I had a refreshing white wine that paired nicely with my meal. The bread tasted so good and came with this garlic butter spread! We were offered desert but had to deny on account of being full enough already.
Would definitely like to come here again if I’m ever in the area.
