James Drug Store

I’ve been using this pharmacy for the past year now, and I’ve been through many. James Drug is BY FAR the BEST pharmacy I have ever used. Wonderful, friendly staff. Great hours, makes getting your prescriptions easier. I love the text notifications telling me when the scripts are filled and how much they will cost! But what really put them on the above and beyond list for me? A month in advance I gave them my new insurance, and when I got my prescriptions today, the new insurance was ready to go in their system. Considering the amount of customers they have, WOW! I’m impressed. Any other pharmacy would have brushed it off, forgot, or I would’ve been under a pile of other requests, BUT NOT HERE. They value their customers, that’s the difference ❤ not enough stars on here to cover the outstanding work!

Very satisfied with James Drugs. I get my meds synchronized which cuts down on trips there. They request refills for me. They notify me when meds are ready and ask if any changes have occurred since last time.

I have used this pharmacy since moving to Denham Springs and they are excellent. They have early hours with drive through and are even open on Saturdays. The staff members are very friendly. I would highly recommend.

James Drug Store fills medicine on the spot and you do not have to wait hours like you do at the big chain pharmacies. They are very friendly and professional.

There’s this younger guy who works here and always has a smile on his face and always dressed nicely & I think he’s great. Personable and respectful. Considering switching my prescriptions to James.

I LOVE this pharmacy, they have about 10 pharmacists, call/faxed scripts or filled & waiting for you to pick up, & no long wait time if you have to hand deliver a script. Bonus they have a drive thru & if you & your fur buddy go pick up thru the drive thru they will have a treat to give your WO-mans best friend!

My Mom & Dad, grandparents, Aunts ect only used James Drug Store since I was a small child, memories as a child going in the 1st location down Range Ave & Dr Edwin Walker had a office in the back of the store.. the staff has remained the same always friendly & made everyone feel like family, they carry on the same standards of kindness throughout the years…Livingston Parish may have expanded tremendously but it’s never changed that small hometown feeling as they did many years ago! That’s what I love about The James drug Store family 💛

Went there today to have a prescription filled. Everyone was so helpful, friendly, and fast that I decided I will be moving all of my prescriptions from CVS to James’s Drug Store. It was nice to walk in to have a prescription filled and them actually having people who work without horrible attitudes. Thank you!!

Mr. Pat and his staff are the best by far. I have been using James Drug Store for over 20 years now and I do recommend them to anyone who wants a wonderful experience when filling prescriptions, they treat you like a member of the family and not just another customer.

I had a prescription filled here today for the first time and it was the easiest experience, they were also so nice even though they were really busy.

All I can say is WOW. My family and I had been using a "Certain" local pharmacy for years and, on a recommendation from a Friend, visited James. WOW, What a difference. I got used to the "Drop it off and it will be ready in a few hours" routine. I can walk into James, give them my script and I don't think I have ever waited more than 15 minutes at any time of the day. I have used the automated refill system, Late on a Friday night, and sure enough, they were ready by 7:15 am the next day. I Highly recommend them and their Fantastic staff for any of your Prescription or Pharmacy Needs !

I’ve been going to James Drugstore when it was in the old building where James Grille & Cafe is now and have known Mr. Pat since the 1980’s and they have ALWAYS had my medications or order overnight and fill them within minutes. All employees are extremely nice, helpful and cordial. 5 stars

Friendly and helpful staff. They had medications that I needed and couldn’t find anywhere. They filled it in like an hour.
They also have some medical supplies like those bedside toilets and wheelchairs.

I use James Drug Store as my main pharmacy. They are local, friendly, knowledgeable, helpful, and so much more. They have several pharmacists so even with a new prescription, I never wait more than 10 minutes. Usually it's less time. They go out of their way to help you find what you need or order it if they don't have it in stock.

I have been with James Drug Store for the past FEW YEARS!!! I was with Walgreens and was having horrible time called James & switched everything i had, within 10 min. I had a call sating my meds were ready for pick up and i have been with them since. Don't get me wrong no ones perfect but they ate 99% on their stuff, im very pleased... thank you sooo much James Drug Store..

This pharmacy is GREAT!! They are willing to work with you and give you the personal hometown service that they bigger chains wont take the time or energy to give. I highly recommend this pharmacy to anyone that wants a personal relationship with their pharmacist since they are a key part of your healthy life.

I was late getting there to pick up my mom's medicine one evening and it was very important that she had her medicine and they were kind enough to come back up to the store and open up just so that I could have the medicine for my mom. you don't find service like that just anywhere these people are Awesome

Super friendly and helpful staff. I went in looking for a compression wrist brace and vitamin E oil to help with scarring from a recent surgery. They helped me find everything I need and didn't try to upsell me on anything. Very helpful and positive experience.
