Nothing fancy but the food is always worth the wait. Never had a bad meal, but go before you're really hungry because you might wait an hour before your order comes out. Very nice staff and menu options.

This place is a hidden jewel. The food was fantastic right up there with other fine dining restaurants. The wait staff was great and friendly. The atmosphere was good, just like a local bar vibe. My pick is the fried oysters, but the steaks are very good. This is a must try! 😍

I got a cheesesteak. The meat was melt in your mouth quality and plenty of it. I took half home because I had a few beers 😄 My husband had a crab cake sandwich that looked like all crab. He said it was delicious. Waitstaff very attentive and friendly even though they were busy on a Friday evening happy hour. Highly recommend.

We had the fish and chips and the oyster sandwich. The fish and chops were done to perfection and the oyster sandwich had so many fried oysters you could not close the roll. You had to eat many of the oysters before you could even think about eating them as a sandwich. Breading on the oysters was light and flakey and were crunchy with a great tasting oyster inside. This is our place for oysters!!!

This is my all time favorite place to eat! I may be biased as I live close but when I tell you they have the best burgers you will ever have in your life, believe me! Every single time I order here the food is outstanding and exceeds my expectations. I love the staff and it’s so heart warming knowing when I call they know who it is. I am NEVER disappointed when I order here and I promise you won’t be either. Not to mention their prices can’t be beat!

Being a local to Charlestown, my family and I practically make Market Street our second kitchen. Let me tell you, it's hands down the best bang for your buck in town and even out of town! But hey, don't take my word for it - compare it yourself. The crew over there? Super friendly. And the grub? Always top-notch! Seriously, their sweet potato fries? To die for. Especially when it’s paired with the Texan Burger! And don't even get me started on those hoagies – they're LOADED! The BEST AROUND!

Market Street, hats off to you for keeping your prices down while serving up such deliciousness. No overcharging there, and that's something we can all appreciate in this economy! ❤

Food is cooked as ordered so it takes a little time, but it’s worth the wait. Are normals are the brisket style Ruben and blt. Everything is good we’ve had though.

Their Ahi Tuna Salad and the Onion Soup is our favorite and everyone there is so friendly!

Great little bar tavern in small historic town of Charlestown, MD. We were recommended to try it and glad we did! Hamburger with Crabmeat was phenomenal and sweet potato waffle fries were so tasty 🤤. Must see to appreciate 😸

Italian sub was on point! Barely managed a small. Large are ginormous!

First time here. We started with the hot crab dip in a bread bowl. Delicious! My wife got the blue burger, and I got the snapper dinner with broccoli and a salad. Everything was great! I recommend this place for the food and drink! It looks dated inside and out, but the food makes up for that!
We'll be back here again soon!!!

This establishment remind me of an old corner store that I grew up with and Philadelphia. It had the same feel and the same extremely friendly customer service. We stopped here and ordered lunch they had an excellent selection to choose from. The food was very reasonably priced and the food itself was outstanding. I would highly recommend this establishment to anybody.
