Nice store, friendly staff, with lots of great deals. Furniture, glass, jewelry, house wares antiques, vintage, and modern. It’s a great place to start or add to your home. Check often because you never know what you’re going to find.

My wife and I recently had the pleasure of shopping at Miriam Switching Post, and I have to say, I was blown away by the selection of high-quality, gently used furniture and decor. I was in the market for a new leather sectional, and I was thrilled to find the perfect one at this upscale resale boutique. Not only was the sectional in excellent condition, but the price was unbeatable.

But what sets Miriam Switching Post apart is that all proceeds support Miriam's mission of empowering unique learners. The Variable Tuition Program provides financial assistance to students and families. Because volunteers staff the store, overhead is kept low so that more money can be attributed to programs.

Good selection of furniture. I had my heart set on a beautiful leather seat and desk, but it had just come in and the staff had not priced it yet :(

I had never heard of this place until my aunt mentioned it when I told her I was looking for an occasional chair for my new condo. I stopped by and found it with a bit of difficulty the building is very large and there are entrances on at least two sides and I didn't find the right one at first. If you have trouble finding it keep looking because it's worth it! The shop had an absolutely marvellous selection of furniture from all eras, there was retro and vintage and antique and modern. There were dining sets entertainment centers, chairs of every style, grandfather clocks, and living room sets. They also have decorative pieces and jewelry and probably a lot more I didn't see because there was a lot of cool stuff! Even though I circled the shop three times, I know I didn't see it all because every time I went around there was more to see! The chair I finally found and purchased was on my third trip around and it was right by the front door, I should have seen it first, LOL! This is a very fun place to shop with very reasonable prices. I will visit often because I understand they get new pieces all the time.

This is a great place that is run by and contributes to Miriam School. Miriam school is dedicated to helping children with developmental disabilities. A high-end resale store that I have furnished whole apartments with. A great and fun place to shop that has many unique items. I always love coming to this place even when I'm not really shopping for anything.

They have a lot of great pieces of furniture with some very reasonable prices. Check back often since their inventory changes on a daily basis. They are always putting new things out on the floor. If you find something you like but don't have room for it in your car, they have an area that they will hold it for you until you get back as long as it is in a timely manner.

Miriam Switching Post is a great place to donate and also to buy they have some of the nicest items in store and antiques available for the public to purchase all proceeds are donated to the school's and is a very good cause, very good people volunteering to work here.

Very nice used and antique furniture and framed paintings. They even have a beautiful Mason Hamlin A grand piano that has a Pianodisc player system installed in it. Valued at $40,000! They are selling the piano for way below value.

I love shopping at Miriam when I'm looking for pieces with character. You just never know what you'll find there! Their friendly & helpful staff will take good care of you.
