Ashley Store

This review is specifically for the team handling repairs at the store. I purchased a reclining sectional at the sister store in Starkville sometime during 2020. After a couple of years, the motor on one of the main recliners stopped working, so I was out a seat (my seat mores the pity). I called the store and got connected with Bubba the repairs department. He ordered a new motor and had it shipped to my house free of charge even though our couch was not under warranty. I installed the motor and it worked for a month or two, but then died on me like the last one.

Figuring I was officially out of my depth, I gave Bubba another call. He sent a repair guy out to the house who said the reason why the motor kept dying was because the reclining mechanism was bent and likely had been since we bought the couch (it was a floor model). He ordered a second new motor and a reclining mechanism. I was prepared to pay for the repair, but again, Bubba and his team covered the parts and labor saying "You are not under warranty, but there is no reason why your couch should be broken after such a short time. We will make this right." Some parts ordered and one visit to the house later, everything is fixed. They actually followed through unlike many others I have interacted with in the past.

I have never delt with a repair team as professional and capable as Bubba's. They do exactly what they say they will and have the customer's best interest in mind. I don't usually write reviews for any businesses, but I wanted to give Bubba and his team the kudos they deserve. To Ashley's management: know that having people like Bubba working at your store is the kind of thing that makes loyal customers. I would certainly buy furniture from you all again just because of how Bubba and his team helped me and my family!

This is almost 3 yrs later review.. Everyone was very nice, I do remember the lady named Barbara helped me first, showed me around and provided details, and she definitely knows what she is talking about. I saw custom couch set, that I love very much, but had to be built per order due to the pandemic, so I had to wait, a month or two, but it may be different now. Everyone stayed in touch until it was ready, and the delivery was awesome. There was a small scratch occurred, upon the couch, during the load into the home, because it had to go upstairs, BUT they detailed that! AND sent another gentleman to build it all over again, just to make sure I had 100% of what I did paid for. So, I hope everyone understand the review here, people do help and care, but you have to try to meet people halfway to seek the results you are looking for. I’m still satisfied with my couch set and so grateful for them for making it happen. I hope anyone here will share the same experience too! TY to all of Ashley’s family, my experience truly was great!

Went in looking for queen size bed and found one we loved...just pricey, Assoc Felicia told us about the Mgr special for Labor Day which was an entire bedroom set very very nice, quality good wood and much less than a single bed. We took that and was so thankful for it and her she could have not mentioned it because it was cheaper but she did her job very well so we will go back and ask for her next time she has gained our trust. 🥰

Brent was a God sent. I think he was a bit overwhelmed with me coming in knowing what I wanted and going out..which was funny, because anyone who know me, know I shop and leave. Once I shop for my bedroom set, table, and came back for the dresser for the bedroom set within moments after the delivery of my beautiful furniture...I think we have an excellent relationship..I recommend coming in and talking to Brent or call to see if he is in the store before you come

Kalisha was a phenomenal sales consultant who solved our very specific couch needs. She toured us around the store and answered all of our many questions with expertise and patience. Couch has been everything we wanted so far at a super reasonable price - given the current backlogged supply chain and inflated pricing we found at other stores. ask for Kalisha Tedford!

My sales associate China Powers was outstanding. When we spoke about a problem that we were having she gave us all the information that we needed. The leather couch that we replaced our old one with is outstanding. Her assistance is well appreciated.

Robert Powers was my sales associate. He was great. He was just coming back from a lunch break and noticed that I looked in need of help. He jumped right in and took care of everything. I now have the perfect bedroom furniture.

You get what you pay for. It’s expensive. Our bedroom set is very nice and customer service is excellent.

Considering many things out of the control of our salesperson and the store management due to Covid and shortages both our sales person and store management worked tirelessly to make sure we were well informed and happy ! I would use them again for sure !

We bought our couch from this store, the manager Josh helped us and he is amazing!! So friendly, dealt with all our questions, knowledgeable and helpful. Everyone we talked to in the store were friendly, 10/10!

Went in looking for a sleeper sofa, in gray. Michelle Hattaway wasn't for sure they had one, since most places don't keep in stock, but could order us one. She went and check, they had one on the floor, perfect color. Needless to say, got what we wanted. Thank you Michelle Hattaway!!

Great place to shop for all of your furniture needs. Very helpful/friendly staff. I like the fact they offer veterans discount.

We were helped right away. The staff was patient as we had many pieces to purchase. They even stayed passed closing to ensure we were taken care of! We are grateful!

Customer service is excellent. Sales personnel is eager to serve and make sure that you get what you are looking for the way you want it at a price that is satisfactory to your wallet.
