Patio 44 Hattiesburg

Enjoyed a laye lunch on the patio with a nice cool breeze in the upper 60's. Enjoyed appetizers, mains and drinks. Overall, it was a great experience as well as a first-time visit.
Fried green tomatoes were delightful with a thin crisp batter that held the tomato temperature the entire time it took to eat them. The accompanied sauces were just right. The entrée chose was the blackened chicken sandwich with seasoned fries that was on point as well. Those fries were crispy and perfectly seasoned. A delightful salad before the sandwich was enjoyed as well. Spring mix with berries and grilled chicken with a honey based vinegrette. Bottled Guinness was the beer that washed everything down. Our server was very helpful in making decisions for our tasty journey.

Visiting from out of town for lunch. First visit to this eatery and I enjoyed it. Food is delicious and largely portioned. Large outdoor seating under awning with lovely lighting and decor. Indoor is a bit smaller. Plenty of parking. Great location. Welcoming and friendly service. Most def recommend. I would also recommend to the restraunt to provide drink covers to prevent pollen and such blowing in the wind from getting into the drinks.

Dinner was great. We went for my friend’s birthday and it was delicious and fresh. DJ was our server and he was very attentive. The best service I’ve had in a long time. We were a party of 5 all in separate checks, but that didn’t stop him from having great customer service. There is always negative being shown and never anything positive. Patio 44 had great food, customer service and beautiful presentation. There was also live music which was a nice bonus to our celebration.

Pretty good stuff at Patio 44! No complaints on the food, and the staff were fairly attentive. I did find it odd that there wasn't bread or something served before the meal, but that's about my only complaint.

This was a nice experience at the Hattiesburg location. Visited here for Valentine. The wait was not very long and we chose to sit inside. It was chilly inside too with an opened door but not as much as outside seating. The waiter was kind to us. We ordered crawfish nachos and red beans and rice. Our order was incorrect initially due to custom requests but the waiter readjusted and we were satisfied. I would most definitely consider eating here again.

I love Patio 44 every time I dine there. My favorite has been Sunday brunch for the mimosas.

The food was great but the service was superb. Sydney, our waitress was absolutely magnificent. She anticipated our every need. She did everything will a smile. Her hospitality has a standard of excellence. When you eat here ask for her to be your waitress and you will have an amazing experience at Patio 44.

It was our first time we literally drove 2 hours to try this restaurant. The atmosphere is really nice. They have a literal patio area (hence the name) with a nice fire place. At the time we went they had live music on the patio and don't get me started on the drinks. They were everything. Blake was our server very attentive to our needs and made sure we were taken care of. We've already made plans to go back.

Karah was my server, she was fantastic. A great sense of humor, and she took care of me when a large party was there b before me. Top notch!

Many thanks for hosting our family and friends while we honored our son. Patio 44 has always been a favorite, but it's now our go-to. Thanks for exceptional service, food, drinks, and that awesome Patio experience. I need more shrimp and grits now!

After 12 hours in the car we found this spot next to our hotel what a hidden gem. Everything we had was delicious too bad we don’t live near this restaurant it would be one of our regulars. Jayjay said his crawfish étouffée was absolutely delicious and he grew up farming Crayfish so he’s somewhat of an expert. Waitress was super friendly and the place was very clean can’t say a bad thing about it.

Always a great time when I come here. The bartender, Hunter, gave excellent service and was very hospitable.

I had a medium rare sirloin with grilled Asparagus and garlic mashed potatoes, and two French 75s; all were very good (the drinks especially, lol). If I were to be nitpicky, the asparagus could've been cooked a little longer with the stalks cut a little more, but the taste was good nonetheless. This will always be a treat-yourself restaurant for me : )

This place was amazing! The mood was perfect, and the outside patio was so serene. It didn't take long to receive our food, everyone was socially distant, and the waiters/waitresses wore masks. There was even live music! With the sound of the waterfall behind us, a magnificent waitress, and perfect food, I was just in awe! It was my first time, and I will definitely be back!!

I was planning on ordering the shrimp and grits, but the table next to us ordered before us, and when their food came out.... I had to order the catfish and grits, I ordered an additional side of spinach, and it was amazing. I also ordered one of their house cocktails. The one with gin and elderflower. All of it was just delicious.
I was with a group of people from work, and we all basically did the same thing. 5/6 of us ordered the catfish with different sides. I was the only one who got it blackened. Everyone else got it breaded and loved it. The one person who ordered something besides the catfish, she got the crabcakes, she said they were delicious.

The food here is delicious, but the service goes above and beyond. Our family has dietary restrictions that makes eating at restaurants tricky, and there was absolutely no issue here. Our waiter brought out the executive chef to our table to discuss what our options were to accommodate our allergies. Everyone was so friendly and we had an excellent experience. Get the Gouda grits!

Great restaurant with very cool interior and outside patio area. I took photos to share with you. We stopped on Friday to check the crawfish étouffée, po’boy and bread pudding.
The étouffée was served with grits (my selection) instead of white rice and it was different but tasted good. The bread pudding was a bit small but very good. The po’boy was very tasty too. Services was friendly and prompt.

This place is fantastic, fine dining for a fair price. Great atmosphere. Fantastic Menu options all rooted in Southern/ Cajun dishes.

The bison burger was awesome! This was my first time having bison so I was highly surprised at how tender and juicy it was. We also had the crab cakes, and shrimp and grits which were also very good

Such a nice find. We were traveling from Dallas to Destin and staying in Hattiesburg for the evening. Patio 44 offers plenty of charm with great food and superb service.
