Swansboro Municipal Park

We love this playground so much! We make the 25 minute drive here because it's my son favorite, specially the trail. Unfortunately for me, my son is obsessed with spiders and this trail has way too many for my liking but we spend maybe 30 minutes here just looking at the different spiders.

Awesome amazing park dog park here 3 or 4 different children's parts there's workout equipment for adults. This is a great place to take the family for a relaxing day or for the splash pad for some excitement period there are plenty of places to catch some shade and also possibly lay out a towel and catch some rays. just to enjoy the time you have with your family, And that shouldn't have to cost any money

Amazing playground for young and older kids. This park has Several play areas with all kinds of activities. Very cute little splash pad. Tennis courts and walking paths.
Clean and well maintained.

Good park with lots to offer anyone. Playgrounds that are ADA accessible, soccer fields, tennis courts, skate park, dog park, community center and a 0.6 walking/running trail that has work out stops around it.Thw town has cleared out some underbrush and trees for better visibility. Really nice park.

Definitely a nice open space with some great options for the kiddos; even a small splash pad area! Great running area with soccer goals & wide open for running & sports!

Great park. The trail and dog park are clean and well maintained.

My kids loved it. But on the rope tower, there is a cut in the rope with wire frayed and is sharp. Please be careful and I've already contacted the right people to have it fixed.

Beautiful day to walk at the park

This is a great location to bring the family, especially the kids, for some time outside. The pavilions are nice for any gathering under the shade and the splash are is fantastic for the little ones. Overall a good place for some fresh air.

We visit this park often and it is a favorite of the parents and the kids in our social circles. The bathrooms inside the rec center are always quite clean when we visit. The outside bathrooms are also well maintained. This is a very safe, clean playground, with some really fun and unique equipment. This is the absolute best park to go to when it's a hot day because you get the lovely breeze off the water. It can be chilly in winter. Bring a blanket if you'll be sitting watching your kids play! My kids often make quick friends with kids they don't know here, and it's neat that so many regulars here are this type of friendly personality type. My favorite thing about this park is probably that the staff are lovely. We've been at area parks where the staff have been rude to kids or parents, sadly. This is definitely the best eastern NC playground and park we've been to.
***I would love to see the skatepark back in operation. If there was a way to crowdfund a skatepark here that would be safer and sustainable, I think it would be very successful and supported by many in the region!

Awesome Park! Nice place for a picnic,a short walk on the natural trail. We found a geocash! There's a splash pad for the summer, Soccer fields, skate park, and exercise equipment. Definitely a public Jewel in Onslow County

It was our first time here and my little 2 yr old loved it. He could not believe how tall the big slide was since he hasn't seen one like that before. We were impressed even with the giant spiderweb under the weather.

My son loves playing here.

The biggest park around. Great for all ages; from toddlers to teens. Has a paved sidewalk around the perimeter, splash pad, dog enclosure park, and of course plenty of stuff for the kids to climb & play.

They have a few different play areas, skate park in the back, walking path. Also have picnic area, bathrooms. Located behind a plaza with plenty of parking.

Nothing not to like about this park. It has athletic fields, a well-equipped and expansive play area for youngsters, and strategically placed, old-fashioned porch swings along the sidewalk that wraps around the entire park.

First time here and it's a very nice park. Lots of activities for all ages. Very clean with shaded seating and picnic tables.
