Front Street Grocery

I love this place! I have found several local eats from this store, plus some great gifts for loved ones. I have found cards, hand crafted items, and BBQ sauces with a bit of Carolina heat. The selection of hand crafted items from crafters along the coastline is magical. The food selection has it's own sense of wonder as well. Plus, the owner will occasionally do Customer Appreciation Nights. The photos are from one done in June 2023.

Not only are there delicious foods and unique gifts in this beautiful small shop, there is always a friendly face behind the counter. Whether you’re grabbing something quick to eat or just want to chat about the weather, this stop is a must-visit for anyone missing the sentimental pleasures of small town life. What a delightful step back in time!

This is a great corner grocery. Need a drink or snack this is the perfect place to stop. It is a very interesting little store! Perfect small town grocery.

Sweet gentlemen at the counter and adorable store just sells the basics. Small stuff and local made things too. Candy drinks. They have small bottled milk for those like me who want that at a store. Someone seems to have made bread to sell there. I saw some post cards hung up and looked hand made with Swansboro written on it. All around an adorable place must stop by just to say hi!

Great place too pick up some local goods or beer. Better place to stop by when you have an urge to sing some Karaoke on a Sunday night!

Great little market with selection of fresh breads, bakery treats and gourmet cheeses & meats. Perfect for a picnic in the park by the water.

Excellent establishment! Food and drinks are wonderful as is the service. And, Rob, the proprietor, is a great guy! Incredibly friendly and welcoming! Lives up to "The Friendly City by the Sea!"

A very unique little grocery store. I was very excited when I heard that they can now sell wine and beer. Go check them out!

A charming little store but filled with plenty of foods and more for your trip. We liked the OMGoodness Pimento. 😋

I went there just looking for groceries and was very pleased with the selection. My son is picky about his fruits and veggies, they gotta be just right and they came through with the best organic produce that you can find. Hands down the best. Absolutely fantrasicating!

Got the Sticky Buns and they were literally the best I have ever had. Anxious to try the rest of the Amish bakery goods. Neat store.

It is very small not much space to move around

Normally I’m not one to write reviews but in this case I feel I should as it could keep someone from getting sick . Be VERY cautious when purchasing fresh eggs from this place as they are not fresh and made my husband and I incredibly sick . On Monday I bought eggs from this place and by Friday one of them exploded on my counter from being so rotten . I tested the rest and five of them were beyond spoiled . I had to throw all of them away and clean green rotten eggs off my counter . I was gagging so my husband came and took over and by that night we both had the worst case of salmonella poisoning I’ve ever had. Reached out to the number on google and was promised more eggs to replace them and she said she would get back to me and never did and it’s been over a month now.
