Walkertown Seafood Shack

First time visiting here for my hubby and I. We met some family members for my aunt's 88th birthday. We loved the decor. Our party of 14 was promptly seated as soon as everyone attending was there. The waitress was amazing!! She quickly greeted everyone at the table, was friendly, and always smiled. She took our drink and food orders. Everyone received what they ordered. Drinks were cold, and the food was hot. I had frog legs, popcorn shrimp, and flounder. My husband had the Captain's platter. There was lots of tasty food piled on our plate. Everyone was happy with their food selections. We sang happy birthday to the birthday lady and a few Gospel songs she loves. A few other customers joined in. My family and I had a really good time!! I'd definitely visit this restaurant again.

The food was so delicious. The servings were so abundant. the service by our waitress was outstanding.She was so pleasant and attentive. The food and the service made for a great experience.

What a great night! The service by Tori and staff was friendly and efficient, and the food was spectacular. I had the she crab soup, and the flounder/popcorn shrimp meal; it was all freshly prepared and tasted fantastic. Loved this place!

Went here with a group for lunch. They have daily lunch specials that are a very good price for the amount of food. Service was very fast and accurate. Our waitress was friendly. The food was good plus good amount of food for the price. The restaurant was clean. Definitely recommend this restaurant if you’re looking for seafood.

As another New England transplant to the Piedmont Triad, I had no expectations of finding a seafood restaurant as good as this one in this region. Wow. The food here is amazing, the staff is quick, polite, and accurate. My go-to is the Captain's Platter, and I always order a side of fried clams because holy **** these are as good as anything between Connecticut and Maine! We will keep looking for excuses to go to Walkertown around meal times. Incredible.

The food was outstanding, everyone all said how good the food was & they wanted to go back. The service was excellent. The waitress waited on 24 of us & she did it all alone. Thank you so much for having the patience to deal with all of us old people!!! We will tell ever one we know where to go for the best seafood!!!

The variety on the menu is quite good. The amount of food for the price you pay is well worth what you get. I ordered the four choice fried platter and there must of been at least a pound of the little shrimp on there. Our server Amanda was amazing. She talked with us and even bought out a sample of a crab soup which by the way was very good. I haven't found anywhere in NC or Virginia that has decent fried oysters but theirs are excellent. And I'm picky about my seafood because I'm from new England and used to really good seafood. We will definitely be going back

They are HANDS down the best seafood place to go to! You can tell that they clean their grease all the time, because their fried food tastes like what it's suppose to be. The staff is nice and helpful, if you haven't been, them GO!

Everyone enjoyed it, tried a variety of dishes an all were good. Yet , I'm a huge salad guy an they don't offer more than 2 generic toppings for salads. I suggest open up your selection of toppings available an I think you'd be a complete 10.

We found this little place on our way homes from Winston Salem on Map search. Rating were good so we drove back roads to find this place. It was worth the trip and lived up to the ratings.

I've never had a bad experience at Seafood shack. Sometimes they have a wait but it's never too long. The food is always hot and fresh. The service is very good, very friendly and prompt. The restaurant is decorated beautifully. Good vibes all around. Sometimes they have homemade desserts by the register, and they are always delightful.

First time in today. Excellent waitress named Terri. Very busy but looked fully staffed today & everyone was pleasant. Food came out fast. Couple platter dishes we chose. Hot & ready. Very clean for fried food. The flavors of shrimp, scallops & flounder were yummy! Love their in house ranch dressing! Fried pickles were excellent. Highly impressed with the organization of running out the food & seating. Great restaurant and very well designed. My husband & I found a new seafood joint! Just be ready to wait on a table during peak hours & well worth it!

Always a great place to eat. I have never had a bad meal or service less than excellent here. Highly recommend!

Always great service and the FOOD IS HOT and DELICIOUS!!! BEST Fish Restaurant near Winston-Salem! Great for date night and family celebrations!

The place seems to be a local institution. There were all groups,classes, and ages when I went. The seafood was hot and fresh, and the service was outstanding. I would go again.

Seafood dishes are phenomenal. Great place to order in or take-out services at a window. If you like sweet tea, you can also buy half a gallon of tea to go! We love Seafood Shack. At least once a week, we order take-out, so at home, we can be fat bellies in private from all the good food.
