Taylor's and the people there are amazing. Very knowledgeable but approachable. No wine snobs there! (Well, how could you if you have a superb wine shop at a gas station that also sells live bait?) Seriously, these folks know their wines and go out of their way to find me wines I have tasted elsewhere and want to buy.

A family owned wine shop that has a huge selection of wine & sake! It’s such a hidden gem, located in a gas station right outside of Raleigh. Ben knows so much about wine and will help you find what you are looking for! I learned so much more about wine and sake when talking to him about his shop. They also have a variety of local businesses products in the shop and some craft beer as well!

The best!! We buy all of our wine here. If you don’t know what you need find Cory for some expert advice. Also hit up one of their events! So many great wine maker dinners, can not say enough about this crew!

Convenient gas station with excellent coffee by Larry beans and a wide variety of flavors with Sausage, chicken and bacon biscuits Monday through Friday.
A huge variety of wine and a very good selection of beer. They have almost weekly wine tasting and pairing as well as some brewery tastings.
Staff is very friendly and helpful.
The store is newly remodeled and it’s one of the cleanest gas stations you ever go into.
The two new bathrooms are nicer than most peoples home bathrooms!

As always an awesome customer service experience at Taylor's Wine Shop. I have even had an incident when getting a propane refill that when I went inside to get some dog treats that the line was busy so I went back outside to walk my dog. While I was walking my Ben came outside to clean up some debris and I spoke with him which started a conversation at which point he reminded me that I had forgotten to pay for the propane. Well, needless to say, I was soooo embarrassed that I had not paid, and I probably wouldn't have paid before leaving after walking my dog had Ben not reminded me since I am sure that it would have slipped my mind. He did me a great justice by reminding me so that I wouldn't have been even more embarrassed if I had returned home and then realizing that I had forgotten to pay and therefore returning to pay. Thanks soooooo much for your looking out for your customer as well as your business.

Very customer oriented! Bought a bottle of wine, noticed at home when opened that it was corked… It happens. They took the wine back no questions asked and exchanged it for a bottle of slightly higher value!

I came across a picture of Hunky Dory wine. Coincidentally, I call my husband Hunky Dory, (he’s a hunk and I adore him) so the search was on! I found this wine online at Taylor’s Wine Shop in Raleigh. Sadly, the website said there was 5 bottle minimum to ship. I reached out via their email and explained the reason I wanted it was for the name and our anniversary was coming up. Ben Cash emailed me back immediately and said no problem! It delivered only 3 days later. Our anniversary isn’t until August but I was so excited, I could only hide it for two days. He loved it! If you look at the pictures, you’ll see his nickname is much sweeter than mine, but both are appropriate. LOL. Check them out

I love Taylor's. I learn so much at the tastings. They are a great place to get a gift. If I tell Cory the wine sommelier my budget and the occupation of the recipient, he picks out the perfect gift. In one case the recipient, a French Chef still keeps the bottle. I love the local coffee Kitty's Corner by Larry's Beans that supports Mental Health Research. You can buy a cup on your way out, or a bag. Taylor's has local wines and the obscure. The customer service is superb! I could say so much more about the people that work at Taylor's what they carry, what they do, and how they support the community, but I will stop. I feel proud to have this wine store in Raleigh!

Taylor’s has been my go-to for 20 years because of the personality of the locally owned business itself. I felt like I had come home to the same kind of store I knew growing up. It’s certainly not the run of the mill “convenient store”. Cleanliness and courtesy is second to none!
Taylor’s is such a contribution to the N. Six Forks community in so many ways. They give back and show support for several foundations that benefit so many. Friendliest and most accommodating staff around you’ll ever meet.
Shop the vast selection of the finest in wines (for every budget) to the abundant choices in new craft beers. Coldest beer/soda/water cooler around and offerings of local chocolates, peanuts and honey. Larry’s Beans coffee is unmatched in taste and so many flavors to choose from, even Taylor’s own designed blend. And let’s not forget live bait people! Gotta have premium fresh red wrigglers and night crawlers for fishing.
Yes, I’m partial because I’m an “every single day customer” who grew to know the family and the business and it has kept me going back for 20 years! Stop by and don’t just fill up…go inside. You’ll be glad you did!!!

Best wine shop in Raleigh! Taylor’s is more than just wine but a community. I have been shopping at Taylor’s for 10+ year and there is a story for every wine in the shop. It also makes a great recommendation to anyone who as never been. I love hearing the stories of people I have sent to Taylor’s. It never fails they follow up to confirm I was right that a gas station that sells live bait & tackle is the best wine shop in Raleigh! 🥂

This is my GO-TO place for so many things! Gourmet coffees and Bill's Amazing Biscuits to start the day. Then a great selection of craft beers for lunch and later. Followed by fine wines for evening enjoyment. Besides that, Taylor's is a fully-stocked convenience store, including hard-to-find ethanol-free gas as well as the regular grades & diesel. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly; you will leave with a smile on your face. Yes, I am a regular customer-have been since 1988, when it was primarily a bait shop.

This is the cleanest place I have ever seen! The inside sparkles and you won’t find a single piece of trash or cigarette butts on the property! I stop here almost every single morning on my way to work. The biscuits are amazing and never disappoint! The staff are super friendly and will always greet you right when you walk in the door. The gas is a little more expensive here but in my opinion I’d rather spend the extra money to support a locally owned business. It is very well lit on the outside and I have never felt unsafe getting gas at 6am like I have at other places on Six Forks Rd. I love all of the coffee and wine options they have. If you’ve never been here, you definitely need to stop and visit! A big shout out and huge thank you to everyone at Taylor’s Wine Shop! You guys are amazing!

Taylor's Wine Shop in Raleigh, NC has to be one of the most "One-Stop" shops for Wine, Spirits and Craft beers in N. Carolina and the South-Eastern US. I live in the Napa Valley of California and am extremely impressed with the selection of Wines and the knowledgeable staff such as Ben, Corey and Kelli. It's extremely rare to walk into A wine shop anywhere (Especially East Coast) and find a Bottle of Scarecrow or Harlan Estate in stock! Not only is the wines an excellent selection but the Craft Beers are amazing. Also being able to get breakfast, Lunch, munchies, and gas "Live bait for fishing is truly No. Carolina. Additionally, the pricing on the shipping cost for shipping is the best prices I have found anywhere. So stop by Taylor's Wine Shop when in No. Carolina you will not be disappointed!

I moved here about 8 years ago and a friend said 'You got to go by this Gas Station and take a look at their wines'.....I was like, 'wine at Gas Station....nope'. And one day, I noticed 'Wine Tasting' on the board, so I stopped in....WOW!! Where have I been?? The Wine got me there, then the people, then those Chicken Biscuits & great coffee on the way to the Beach...oh, and gas! We LOVE you TAYLORS!!!

Sure they have gas, but most importantly they have the best wine store in town. Special request? If they dont have it, they will likely get it for you. Oh and did I mention how fun their tasting events are? TY Taylors.

Taylor's is a great place to work, as well as a great place to shop! We care about every person who walks through those doors. We value community because it is the reason we are still open since 1980. Through YOUR continued support. We appreciate YOU! People don't realize there are limited resources and actions we can take. This is not a corporate company that can just throw money at the problem and fix everything. We are small and we are singular. Taylor's has a larger wine selection than any other sold product in the store. They have worms for fishing at the lake a mile up the road as well as lures and a whole fishing wall. Fresh made coffee daily AND bagged whole bean coffee for all shoppers. Not one but two coffee grinders for convenience. Two recently renovated restrooms with tile from the floor to the walls, not even a year old yet! We do deals or specials weekly to monthly so keep an eye out! We also have a newsletter we send via email so be sure to sign up to be more informed of said specials. We've got beer by the shelves!! Also have the option of ordering kegs for any get together! Just give us a decent heads up so we can get it to you on time! Taylor's is a unique place with unique people. I loved working there and seeing all of your beautiful faces day in and day out! Whatever you want you can find it here! gas, propane refills, snacks, refreshments, bait, fine (and i do mean fine) wine, fresh breakfast biscuits, gourmet chocolate and coffee, etc. Great service and friendly people. store recently remodeled and clean. Easy to get in, out and around their parking lot. Taylor, Ben, Kelli and Cory are all VERY knowledgeable about wine and they have a great selection from every day wine to high end bottles. And Bill makes the best biscuits! This is so much more than a convenience store.
