I really enjoy the campground. Each lot is paved and easy to pull in and out of. I feel the bath house needs to be updated, but the staff are so friendly that I still recommend you visit here at least once:)

Stayed here for a few months due to working in the area. Hamer is not the best of areas but this campground was a big surprise. Staff are phenomenal! Always friendly & helpful! The campground is gated and has security driving through frequently so we always felt safe. Large paved full hook up lots with cement patio & pretty new picnic tables. They have 3 restroom facilities, 1 with washers & a dryer. They are older but the cleaning crew comes around frequently. Roads in the campground are paved and just outside of the campground are multiple gas stations, stores and restaurants. They do a really nice job here!

UPDATE: Be aware that when it rains, a number of sites get very muddy! Look for an available site with as much grass as possible! The sites in the first row near the bath house higher than number 20 are very good. ALSO: it seems the earlier you get here, the better the site you can get. There are LOTS of one-nighters coming off I-95 and we noticed the majority of them arrived after 5:00 PM.

This is a clean, well kept park right off I-95 at the NC/SC border (wanna guess which side?😉) About 150 sites, 2/3 of which are long mostly level sites. Utilities vary by site: we have full hookups with 30 amp service and hookups are on both sides of the slip! No cable and the hamsters are apparently being fed jalapeƱos with the seeds and pulp removed however it is fast enough for email and browsing. There are lots of on air channels and we have 1-2 bars on AT&T in the pounding, pouring, unrelenting, thundering rain - on a nice day, YMMV. $55 for the night with our Good Sam discount and we were in slip 111 which is near the bath house and in the row with the BIG trees.

Very convenient to 95. Level lots, plenty of room in our pull through... so we left our pull car hooked up overnight. Clean, well maintained and gated.

Stayed at the campground one night. Pull through site was awesome! Had hook ups on both sides and fairly level sites! The office was open until 10pm so we were able to get a site late in the afternoon. Plenty of sites available. Very clean and quiet! Lots of things to see and do around as well.

This campground is awesome! You just have to get past the girls that answer the phone at the main number. Just ask when calling as long as it is within business hours of the campground, to speak to the campground. This will avoid a bad first impression. The girls in the camp store are amazing. The sites are long and wide. The campground is completely fenced in with 24hr. Security All of the South of the Border amenities are within walking distance. We ventured out today, walked to all the shops, went through the reptile house and had lunch at the Sombrero restaurant. The food was delicious. The restaurant was very busy. The management was serving the food to the tables to help the servers keep up. A very overwhelming time for them ran like a well oiled machine. We had the opportunity to speak with the GM of South of the Border, a very nice guy who stopped what he was doing to go and assist the management team that said to him they were in the weeds. We complimented him on everything, especially the campground. He is a campground guy and understands first hand how important having nice large sites and a fenced in property. Every inch of this place is extremely clean. This is a great place to visit or stay when traveling North or South. You will not be disappointed.

We travel back and forth from Maryland to Florida often. This is a great place for an overnight stay. Right off the highway but far enough away we don’t hear and road noice. Check in staff have always been very friendly.

Clean, spacious, paved pull through sites with hookups, easy access on/off the highway! This place is perfect for a short stop en route to another destination. There is a gas station on property with both gasoline and diesel. Unlike the rest of the South of the Border property, the campground is well maintained. The rest of the property is a kitschy tourist trap with gift shops, restaurant (it was terrible last time we ate there) market, mini attractions, and fun photo ops. Highly recommend Pedro's campground for travelers searching for a convenient, comfortable, quick stop.

A favorite of ours to camp at when traveling on 95. Easy in and out. Big spaces. Traveled in 35 foot Motorhome towing a pickup. Front desk staff is very helpful.

I have visited many campgrounds, hands down this one is the best with barely any traffic inside the campground. I have a child with autism that loves to ride around the campground with his friends and siblings without me worrying. The outside pool they have is the icing on the cake as my little ones love the water, just make sure too have a life vest for the little ones that are under 5 feet. If you want tranquility this is the campground with cheap campground prices!!

Great experience. Front end staff, security, grounds keepers. Every interaction I had with people was excellent. Highly recommend this camp ground for short or long stays.

I want to thank the young girl with glasses at the front desk of Camp Pedro. She allowed me to have the same spot I camped in earlier so my satellite dish would work for my wife. Her kindness, I will always remember and when we are back in this area again, we will be camping here again.

Very nice campground, only stayed one night to break up a road trip. Big rig friendly, and the spots were long so we didn't even have to disconnect (we have a 42' 5th wheel). Very quiet for being right off 95. Spots and roads are paved, and the grounds are clean and well kept. Enjoyed dinner at The Peddler Steakhouse which was within walking distance.

I’ve been one of those people who has never stopped at SOB because the theme did not appeal. However, we were in need of an RV spot, and what a nice surprise!! Clean, perfect, quiet, and reasonably priced. We’ll stop again!!
