Crafty Cow - Burgers & Fried Chicken

First, when we came in and sat down, Molly was our server. That was a major win right there. Then we decided to split a chicken & waffles plus some cheese curds.

The curds were fluffy and spot on. The king l of the show was the chicken and waffles. There was a hint of sugar in the waffle that give a hint of texture to the waffle. The chicken, though, was without a doubt award winning to say the least when you first try it see if you can spot the difference on the first bite. I will give a hint ask your server how they brine the chicken.

We just moved to Oconomowoc. We saw the ads for Crafty Cow and decided to give it a try. The craft burgers and fried chicken are both as good as advertised. The fried chicken sandwich with dill dip is something special! Nice portion size with the mac and cheese topped with fried chicken. We will be back.

Burgers were tasty and reasonably priced, especially with the facebook messenger coupon. Fries are nice and crispy. Got my soda refills fast. Will come again!

This was delicious! Deserves more than a 4.1 rating. Staff was extremely friendly. We went during Happy Hour. Burgers were cooked perfectly. Food was definitely a 5 star burger. Old fashion was served well.
Paper straws for environment friendly atmosphere. We will return.

Went to try their menu for Halal Restaurant Week and LOVED IT!! Great food all around! Got a variety of a chicken dishes as well as some burgers and fun appetizers. Every bite was delish and portions were quite generous as well. Hopefully will be able to try this again sometime soon!

I recently visited this burger spot and I was blown away by the quality of their burgers. The patties were juicy and cooked to perfection, the buns were fresh, and the toppings were flavorful and creative. I would highly recommend this burger spot to any burger lovers out there looking for their next favorite place. I also need to mention their craft brew selection is top notch. Can't wait to go back and try the rest of the menu!

I came here for a first date. We wanted to be able to talk and asked if we could sit at one of the tables outside. The staff was very friendly and happily accommodated us. Great food too!

Everything that we had here was so delicious! The cheese curds were amazing. The elote nachos were a favorite!

They’re definitely known for their fried chicken which was so crispy and juicy! The Nashville hot sauce they use is not as hot as a typical Nashville hot from the south but it was still tasty!

There’s plenty of seating and it’s much bigger than it looks like on the outside.

Had to go try the best chicken sandwich in Milwaukee area. It did not disappoint! Excellent taste, bun, breading, toppings, and sides. Excellent on all levels. Thanks for a great meal we will be back!

Food was excellent. Cheese curds are incredible. Set in an old downtown bar, a great place for lunch. Burgers are awesome. Maybe some homemade seasoned fries instead of the frozen waffle fries. Otherwise, we loved it. Will be back to try more stuff.

Between the food and drinks, to the restaurant itself and the service, I had a really pleasant experience at the Crafty Cow. I came in on Cinco de Mayo, with my boyfriend and we both got our drinks and food very quickly. The staff was attentive and helpful, also everything tasted great.

Super friendly and accommodating spot. We arrived with a group of 16 and the staff was amazing. Special shout out to Melissa who could not have been more wonderful. Food and menu were great-truly something for everyone Highly recommended.

Absolutely love The Crafty Cow’s menu. They are always trying new combos. They also have one of the best seasoned burgers in the area. There are a lot of self proclaimed “best burgers” but Crafty Cow definitely nailed it.

Their beverage selection i pretty good too. They seem to have a lot of IPA’s, dark brews, and mixers. You can’t go wrong with their large selection of appetizers. Although it’s a bit price, I can’t wait to go back! It’s a great place for a date or to treat yourself.

Their building is kept clean and staff are super friendly. We weren’t kept waiting for very long at all. Keep up the great work Crafty Cow crew!!

Perfect brunch or lunch spot. I liked that they had both their brunch menu and regular menu available. Beer battered cheese curds are the best in the greater Milwaukee area! Bloody mary and southwest caesar salad were good as well. They also did a great job accommodating a large group of 10!

Hands down one of the best chicken and biscuit sandwiches ever! Went for happy hour and we split 2 apps, each had the honey biscuit chicken sandwich and beers…all for $35! Best deal around and food is fantastic! Waitress was amazing, the place was packed, we didn’t realize it was chili fest in Oconomowoc. Food came out hot and fresh and we didn’t have to wait long at all. We will definitely be going back!

Passing through town and found the Crafty Cow to be open and had room for us Many places were closed or not open yet. Thankfully!! I'm very happy we went here. The food was amazing and really not what I expected for "bar" food. Upscale food for sure. Appetizers - brussel sprouts and the pork belly were both great. The fish fry was fantastic and the "Bruno" was as well. Don't forget a bowl of the poblano and corn chowder! I'll stop here again for sure!

Crafty Cow is the definition of consistency. Every time I have gone to eat at Crafty Cow my expectations are always met. Service is great and the food never takes long to come out. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a good burger!

Our waitress was so nice! Their burgers are inventive and delicious. The menu changes to keep it fresh every time you go.

This place rocks. Great atmosphere, awesome service and excellent food. We've been here for brunch and lunch - everything kicks butt! The beast burger is phenomenal -- try it with an egg. Highly recommend!!

Very cool little burger bar downtown Oconomowoc. The drinks & beer selection is good & the burgers were great. It is very loud so harder to hear for conversations, but the food makes it worth it.
