Florence Veterans Park

Visited the park today for the first time with my Husband to honor those who sacrificed their lives and to learn about the history. It's such a beautiful dedication to those who served our country. I will definitely have to come back again when I'm in the area.

I recently visited the Florence Veterans Park, and I must say, it was an incredibly emotional experience. As I walked through the park, I couldn't help but feel a profound sense of respect and gratitude for the sacrifices made by our veterans.

The park itself is beautifully designed, with well-maintained pathways, lush greenery, and meticulously placed memorial plaques honoring the brave men and women who served our country. Each plaque tells a unique story, reminding us of the courage, dedication, and selflessness exhibited by these individuals.

One particular feature that deeply moved me was the central monument, a towering structure adorned with the names of fallen soldiers. Standing in its presence, I couldn't help but reflect on the immense price of freedom and the profound impact of war on both those who served and their families.

Visiting the Florence Veterans Park was a deeply moving and humbling experience. Moving and beautiful tribute to our veterans. My husband and I stumbled upon this on a night walk with our dog since we were just passing through and staying at a local hotel. It is beautifully maintained and we walked back the next morning to see it in the daylight. It's a perfect place for a quiet walk or reflection and it does a wonderful job at remembering those lost fighting for our country and the families they left behind.

A beautiful memorial that's not easy to find. A lot of people walking the dogs here. A lot of other people just walking around reading the memorials and the signs. It's all flat and easily traversed, and worth a short stop.

What an amazing war memorial park. So well done, and the park was so well kept up. I spent a good 40 minutes in the park walking around and looking at all the memorial art work.

We were driving through on Interstate and needed a picnic spot for the family to eat our fast food. This park was a beautiful option. It is well maintained, has a nice combination of grassy areas and walking paths. It is well labeled to explain the monuments which sparked some great conversation with the kids.

It's worth a visit. Easy to walk around. I believe wheelchairs would be easy to use here also.

Water fountains and trash cans make it a good place to stop on an I-95 roadtrip. Walk around outside and learn about the history of U.S. Veterans. The life-like sculptures are emotional to observe.

Beautiful relaxing place in Florence. Very peaceful area just away from the busy mall area. Love coming to sit here or take a walk on nice days. Also easily accessible to a walking trail.

Was looking for a local dog friendly park close to my location to try and I absolutely loved it. It was very clean & well maintained. The monuments were absolutely beautiful. I loved the teardrop waterfall. I could walk laps around this place all day I didn't wanna leave. Will definitely be going back. Such a wonderful job by all organizations involved.

Beautiful and moving place to walk. There were memorials to each branch of the military. Also a piece of the pentagon after the 9/11 attacks as well as a piece of the USS Arizona from Pearl harbor.

The best place to visit in Florence. It’s free. And there is always plenty of parking.

Veterans Park in Florence is a very nice memorial garden. There are several statues dedicated to all the different wars Americans have served in. There is also a piece of limestone from the 9/11 terrorists attack on the Pentagon. It's a very calming peaceful walk. A great place to pay respects.

I really enjoyed the memorials they have at the park. A lot of shade at the park to just sit back and be thankful. FREEDOM IS NOT FREE!

This is a beautiful park! It's nice and quiet and off the road, which is nice, considering Florence is so busy all the time.
